I have done several qualifications with The Electrical Academy since they started several years ago. They are knowledgeable, professional, and well equipped. The facility in Maidstone is excellent and well located. Moreover, and most importantly they understand that their learners are people and not just numbers on a balance sheet. In my industry there is a need for continual professional development and at some time or another most of us have been to a poorly skilled and scantily equipped training centre and thought to ourselves “surely this could be done better”, well it can and these guys and girls have done it better. I don’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I completed my AM2 at The Electrical Academy Maidstone and I whole heartedly recommend them. I've attended various courses and exams at 2 other providers in the south east and they are the best by quite a long way. Speaking from personal experience, some centres do tend to treat you like a number, not the case here. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door. Which really sets you at ease when undertaking important, career advancing exams! Tutors and facilities were equally fantastic, I'll certainly be back in the near future to enrol in some of their courses. In an industry where progressive qualifications are so important, it’s really nice to find somewhere like this!

I've been an electrician for many years and been on many courses at various places but can honestly say The Electrical Academy has been the best. Very friendly, very helpful and the course tutor was knowledgeable and articulate with his explanations. I did the solar pv and EESS course and enjoyed the week.

I recently attended the academy for my AM2, I don't know my results yet but regardless of the outcome it would have no negative reflection on TEA! The staff do an amazing job of making candidates feel at ease and dispelling some of the horror stories I've heard about the AM2. The facilities were clean and tidy with well looked after tools and equipment. Plenty of access to parking, break out areas, tea and coffee machine, sofas and microwave. All workspaces were well laid out and maintained! The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, plenty of experience in industry and education. I liked that on entry to the building there was staff ready to greet you at thier desks and not hiding out the back like some electrical wholesalers! I'd recommend the academy for anyone looking to carry out courses to further thier knowledge and build thier electricians CV! Respectable colleges should definitely look to partner up with this training provider to carry out AM2 assessments. I would particularly like to thank and recognise Mark for his time and friendly attitude throughout my AM2!

Cannot thank Richard and his team enough. Always there for you. They have just done a whole rewire on our property. They have completed the work professionally and cleaned up after themselves. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend them for any electrical work.

Richard attended very promptly to resolve an "emergency" issue where my RCD kept switching everything off. Subsequently he came back and tidied up my garden electrics which were the root cause of the problem as well as changing my outside lighting. Prompt and efficient and pleased with the result.

We contacted Richard firstly to complete a electrical survey on the house we were purchasing and then again to carry out the works which included a full rewire, installation of a new fire alarm system, removal of old/obsolete wiring, alarm systems and more. Can't recommend him highly enough, he had a team working on the weekend to help get us into our new home faster. We expected to have to do a lot of clean up once they had finished so we're pleasantly surprised to find they had cleaned up and left virtually no remedial works for us to do. He was in constant contact throughout. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

I had an issue with bathroom and bedroom lights and Richard was able to fix and carry out the work same morning. All happy now and would definitely use RWD Electrical again. Richard is very knowledgeable and professional.

I called Dal when my electrics to my garage failed. He turned up and diagnosed it very quickly and gave me options. Managed to slot me in really quickly and did a fantastic job wiring in a new armoured cable, angle griding a channel to hide it in and cementing over. The work is very tidy. Dal turns up when he says and works very hard. Reliable and reasonable price. Would happily use again or recommend.

My dentist is Dr K. Mahal. He is very professional and very gentle when doing any treatment. Always puts me at ease. My 8 year old son sees him too and really likes going to see him for checkups. I'd highly recommend the practice.

I recently had a root canal procedure done by Dr. Melody Prado, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! Dr. Melody Prado took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly, addressing all my concerns with patience and professionalism. During the procedure, I felt comfortable and well-cared for. Kent Smile Studio (Maidstone) provides an excellent service and I would highly recommend. Having Dentophobia and avoiding dentist for years, I can honestly say I feel much more at ease here. Xin is the friendliest, most knowledgeable dentist I have ever visited. I have never felt comfortable in the dental chair but she makes you feel so at ease, checks if you’re ok every step of the way and also has a great sense of humour. I do not dread my visits anymore as I know I’m in good hands.

Really find all staff here great. Have had recent fillings, crown fitting and Enlighten whitening done. All excellent. The dentists take time to make sure all is pain free. And the results from Enlighten whitening have been brilliant.

Such an amazing dental practice! My first visit here was in March when I was booked to have fillings done. I missed those appointments. I had a horrible toothache overnight and I called for an appointment to be seen. I was treated with such kindness and professionalism. The female dentists who treated me showed me such empathy! I was in so much pain and they took care of my pain. I am needle phobic and extremely afraid of needles but they were so professional with me and helped me. I was adamant about the tooth being extracted because of the pain I was feeling but I was treated and given options that could save my tooth. Thank you to the 2 female dentists that saw me! I recently visited Tooth Club for a routine check-up, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist, which immediately put me at ease. What a fantastic find. The food was delicious from starters to dessert. The fillet for mains was particularly good. Bar and waiting staff are really friendly and we even got the chance to meet the chef, who talked us through what he was serving. We had the set meal, which was good value, and a few drinks - there's a lot of local stuff on (we had a local gin and a local ale). I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be back.

I'd been wanting to visit The Stile Bridge for some time; it was with some excitement that I saw how nearby a restaurant in the Michelin guide was. It did not disappoint. Beautifully cooked meat, with the best chips I've ever tasted - well seasoned throughout, crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The pork sirloin was delicious, the beef sirloin moreso. I will be back very eagerly. Lovely service as well, and some nice drinks offerings.

2024 October Review NEW AND UPDATED Back again at the Stile Bridge, with the previous chef who departed 6 months ago, it has been time to try the new menu again. At a glance the new menu has inspirations from Asian cuisine slashed with British classics. A very good choice for all palates of flavours. To start, the house bread and oils, the Focaccia style bread was delicious , crispy, fluffy and tasteful, most perfect bread you could ask for to start. The lamb meatballs, had an Indian inspired taste coated in crispy panko, I actually thought the additional aioli style sauce was not needed. Next up was the boneless chicken wings which was a let down, with its dry flavour, baseless and bland texture it felt like the wing was absolutely battered and butchered to create this flattened pancaked wing. Mains : Chicken salad - chicken was super juicy and tasteful, with a salad which isn’t drenched in dressing, the perfect amount for a main dish, with expedited pickles which were fab, and well seasoned dish. Pork sirloin, juicy, cooked well rather tender as welland had great accompaniments with it, the jus was flavourful and hit the spot. Scallops, cooked well, fresh, and plenty of spark. Overall the Stile Bridge did not disappoint again, will be back, and loved the service. Truly so far still one of my top recommendations for restaurants in Kent. Best for those who actually have an eye for food and an open palate. It is a show stopper of a restaurant to visit if you are in Kent. compared to other restaurants within Kent, which serves typical British classics and other delicate British style dishes it is good to see a pub serving a different variety of food from around the world, being a Michelin guide recommendation, the Stilebridge is certainly a place that is well worth on the Michelin guide. The food I would describe it as light South American heavily infused with British twist, this is definitely done to please the pallets of local clientele within Kent which are known for having less adventurous pallets, but as an individual who thrives on flavour, exoticNess and wonder, this may also be the place for you as it is especially for me it is. The octopus and pork belly was fragrance, light and packed full of simplistic flavours, which hit each flavour on the tongue perfectly. Had a small cake which enhances the flavour of the dish., I would say the octopus is a touch over done when I had it, but the pork belly was cooked perfectly. The lamb rump was cooked to perfection, after talking to the chef, and knowing that it was a dry aged lamb from Romley Marsh? Very well with the potato jus accompanying it very well with its lights and arrogant flavours. I would have liked more of the sweet potato jus upon my dish, the lentils works. Well I would’ve liked a bit more than those as well. The Korean style, Bimbap works well for local clienteles pallets, however, I would have preferred it a lot more crispy rice at the bottom of the bimbap, after discussing it with the chef, who was very polite and friendly, it was understandable why it was done in such a way. The side dishes of the potato, Bravas and the pickled salad was a very nice for the compliment to my main protein dishes. Overall, the Stilebridge is a great restaurant you should visit, as a reviewer, I never eats anywhere five stars restaurant wise, however, with my own personal recommendation, I recommend a rate Stilebridge very highly and would be back again to try the other menu items. I would love to see more South American dishes because it’s hard to find authentic dishes done right utilising British local projects which I highly enjoy. My compliments to the chef. Thank you

We had a lovely lunch here sitting at the tables outside. The staff were kind enough to turn on the heaters so we were warm enough in spite of it being November. The food was delicious and well priced. One thing to watch out for is that the food took some time to arrive, but it was worth the wait.

Lovely first time visit to this restaurant. There were 4 of us, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The portions were big enough to enjoy the main and dessert without feeling like you've overdid it eating too much. The staff were friendly and provided great service. We will definitely plan to visit again!

Classic British pub, no surprise, you can get fish and chips here and other standard fare. Felt a little more like a pub than a restaurant. We ordered a variety of dishes from the bartender, and they delivered to a very comfortable outside table. Loved the traditional style Shepherd Naeme selections they had on tap my crew put back the foam less Master brew and Spitfire pints served perfectly. Taught the bartender how to make a Snakebite strange as I was the American, but whatever he got, it figured out. Great bar setup and food faired well. Skin on hand breaded Haddock fish and chips spot , although the mushed served warm kind of off setting and odd taste. The chicken burger and other selections are solid as well. Would have included a photo of the 3 onion rings as a side, but my mate, eat them in up in no time flat. Value diners should hard pass on that as it wasn't a great portion. Overall, it was a good experience and worth a look if your in the area

The atmosphere was very cosy and inviting. We love old pubs full of character and this one is one of our favourites. The service was very good, with all servers being attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and the drinks were fabulous. If you are looking after a cosy, inviting pub with lots of character, great service and brilliant food, this is the one for you. Highly recommend!

All staff from walking into the reception to leaving the dentist were fantastic. All polite, attentive, friendly, approachable and helpful. My dentist was great, patient, thorough, explained everything to me in a way that I understood, and anything I questioned she responded honestly. Extremely grateful for the care I received yesterday and have already recommended to some friends and my partner! Hoping to get my daughter moved over to this practice when an opening is available.
