Played in senior open Sept '21. Warm welcome and friendly service in the bar. Enjoyed coffee & obligatory bacon/egg/sausage baps which were very good & reasonably priced. Course presented well, tricky sloping greens. A really good day!

The friendliest golf club I've ever been to. None of the stuffiness you can sometimes get with golf clubs. When I arrived on my own, at least two people asked if I wanted any company (I didn't as I was waiting for someone, but lovely to be asked). The most amazing views whilst playing the course.

As a recently taking up golf, i have really enjoyied using the Manors facilities. A trip After work to the driving range or taking my son on a weekend, has really caught his interest too. Would recommend and will continue to use them

Nice course and facilities. Only problem is the amount of kids on the driving range. You can be sat around for half an hour waiting for a bay while they mess about due to the sheer number of them. One of them nearly hit another person waiting due to their poor skill level and general lack of care as the ball ricocheted off the side wall, up and then back to the seating area. The numbers of kids needs controlling. Other than that, it's a well kept course with reasonable membership prices. Guest prices are a little on the high side.

Had our wedding here on the 27/04/24 and we had the most incredible day! All of the events coordinators could not have been more helpful with all of our crazy questions! The venue is gorgeous as are the grounds, which made for amazing photos by the lake! The venue was set up just how we imagined, if not better! The Manor worked amazingly with our vendors and everything went smoothly! Have to say a massive thank you to all of the event coordinators! Would 100% recommend for any wedding/event!

Our wedding day at The Manor on 24th August 2024 was truly unforgettable. The venue exceeded all our expectations. The room was transformed into something more beautiful than we could have ever imagined, and the private garden was perfect for photos, complementing the stunning golf course, which provided the ideal setting for our bride and groom shots. Rebecca and her team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless. From the many planning meetings, Rebecca was always available, and no request was too much trouble. Great setting, beautiful course, very well laid out and challenging. Challenging opening hole and one of the best finishing holes I've played. The 18th is quite special. We'll done to your grounds staff to present such a lovely course. Staff very friendly, and members are also helpful and friendly. Bar food quality is excellent. I would have given 5 stars, but for.... we played on beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon, our Tee was after their members competition, we were nearly finished when we met a four ball and one member was dresses in 3/4 length trousers, round neck leasure T-shirt and to top it all Open toe sandals, no socks....... unbelievable. What's that about? It's totally disrespectful. I've played in hotter condition and hotter countries and have never seen a player dress like that before

My son, my sister in law and I would just like to thank Dave the manager at Northcliffe golf club and his fantastic team Vicky and Verity for looking after us so well after the recent passing of my husband. We held the funeral tea there and Dave, Vicky and Verity couldnāt do enough to support us which we all found very comforting. The venue was beautiful and the food outstanding. Going to Northcliffe Pro Shop is a brilliant experience - Matt is attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. We talked about what I was looking for and he gave me helpful advice, and let me test different clubs, without any pressure. It felt like a really personal experience and I could tell he genuinely wanted to make sure I found the right fit. The shop itself has a great selection, with plenty of offers, and a welcoming atmosphere. Itās the perfect place if you're in the market for golf gear either for yourself or as a gift for a loved one. I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Matt. You wonāt be disappointed!

An awesome experience at this driving range. Excellent help and assistance from Andy. The systems have been updated so scoring and progress is digital and can be tracked via an app. Overall amazing day out. 100 balls for Ā£8 60 balls for Ā£6 30 balls for Ā£4 Prices for the driving range are reasonable too, I will be trying out the coaching and will write another review.

I have always had top service when purchasing clubs. Had a putter fitting and never looked back since. Got the Srixon Zx7 irons this may. I wouldnāt go anywhere else now for any golf equipment. Thank you.

I bought a set of golf clubs from the online shop which arrived next day as expected. Unfortunately one of the clubs was faulty and a replacement was arranged and sent out immediately. The same issue happened to a second club and Express Golf offered a full refund and arranged for the set to be collected. The customer service was excellent during this process and despite the clubs being damaged we will definitely use Express Golf again.

Easy to book a round, buy from the shop or book onto the driving range, all from the app. The course is a great ball keeper as the fairways are nice and wide. If your like me and reintroducing yourself back into golf, it's a great course.

Iām used this place multiple times, the shop is absolutely fantastic, the staff are so helpful and the range of brands is perfect. The range is the best range I have ever used and the course is spot on. Cannot recommend it highly enough for any golfer of any ability. Thank You!

Had my wedding here on 4th june 2022 and what a fantastic day it was. The food was fantastic and every guest compliment how nice the food was and how nice the venue was. Toni the golf club manager really did go above and beyond to make sure my day was fantastic. I want to say how good she was at providing food for a vegan and celiac guest they were amazed at the food they recieved. I will deffo be back when another family party or get together is called for. Once again toni thank you so much and I will remember this day forever ā¤ļø

For autumnal golf this place is great. A little wet in places but the natural undulations of the course help naturally get rid of that water under foot feeling you get at most clubs in the North of England. Amenities are strong, with beautiful clubhouse, pro shop & practise area from chipping to putting. Staff are very friendly and very accommodating, canāt wait to go back!

Attended for a 70th birthday with ~30 people, had a delicious 3 course dinner of arancini, chicken with vegetables and sticky toffee pudding. All were delicious. Red and white wine on table also very high qualitg. Private room with view out over course. Big car park. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Really enjoyed it and would recommend for a special occasion large group booking. Golf course looked good, which I hope to come back and play

I mean I love this place Iām a new member and I canāt believe how nice it is and the driving range is free I absolutely love this place update yāall one of my family members had a slight car crash and without hesitation one of the staff got out and helped her calm down checked she was okay and then came back later before my parents arrived and helped her again and guess what it wasnāt even near the golf club and he didnāt know I was related to the person and he still helped

Very well kept course and a real challenge. The greens were quick and you need to be an expert putter to score low. Club house is a mix of traditional and modern with a lovely patio to enjoy the views over the valley. Will return as thoroughly enjoyed the round.

Only visited to get my Powakaddy repaired. David was very pleasant and efficient. The motor was changed in a matter of minutes. Great service. I have played the course before and it's a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend

This course is beautiful with great history. Nathan, the pro was so kind, even after running late because our rental car broke down. We didnāt specify that we needed rental clubs in the booking and he still ran to the basement and put some together while his other 2 sets were booked out already. I couldnāt recommend this beautiful course more. Itās unique features as an Alister McKenzie course brings holes that crossover like a plane runway. You can play the original amen corner. This is a must play at a great price!
