Small society visit Friday on 13th, had smashing day despite appalling weather, very interesting course where accuracy is more important than distance, nice greens, good breakfast. Well worth a visit.

Stunning golf course. Excellent drainage so playable all year round. Challenging but very enjoyable. Greens are immaculate and the views are superb. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and make you feel welcome. Highly recommended club

Such a friendly club. Based on sandstone so excellent drainage and very rarely closed. Healthy sections for men, ladies and seniors and plenty of competitions. Good bar with food and Sunday carvery is second to none!

2 courses, one heathland and one mixed park and heathland. Both are beautiful and a good challenge. There is a comfortable lounge and the new snack bar is bright and welcoming, as are the staff.

Easily one of the best courses in the UK. Having been at the club a number of times the past two years it has consistently impressed me. The greens on the Highgate are unbelievably good. Not a blemish on them and as fast as anywhere you will play. The overall course condition is fabulous as well. Some of the prettiest holes I’ve seen. Top notch practise facilities. The club and its staff are wonderful. They couldn’t have done enough to make our tournaments a total success. I would recommend Enville to anyone that plays golf. I can’t wait to go back!

My home Club and very happy to share how good both courses have developed over the past few years, clearly the best in the area and getting better! Fantastic facilities, including practice area, shop, bar & catering. Great staff and welcoming fellow members. A superb test of golf with two very different courses to choose from, make a day of it and play both, you will not be disappointed.

06.08.24 I have played Enville a few times as I have a good friend who is a member, but today’s visit as a four ball with some friends from my club. We were greeted in the shop by Simon and his assistant who were extremely helpful and seemed pleased to see us. The shop is well stocked with prices to match your pocket. The spike bar we used before and after our round. The staff were cheerful, very attentive, they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. I didn’t visit the practice facilities unfortunately, but from what I did see they are more than adequate. We played the Highgate, just one word ‘WOW’. The tee boxes were flat and spacious, the fairways like carpet, the greens were impeccable and mostly well guarded by bunkers. Every green run at the same pace which is quite rare these days. We did spend some time in the rough and heather (Maybe quite a bit of time) where we managed to find our balls quite easy. Yes, the rough and heather is difficult to get out in some areas but it’s a hazard of sorts, we shouldn’t be in there. The bunkers were well maintained and yes they had sand in them without aggregate. I thoroughly enjoyed my day both on and off the course. Thank you Enville for sharing your course with us, we look forward to coming back soon. Enville have one of the best facilities in the midlands well done to all the staff on and off the course, the membership should consider themselves extremely privileged.

Just had my second lesson with Aarron Wright at Kingswinford Golf Centre. His teaching methods are simple and concise. I would recommend having the video extra as you can actually see what's happening. I'm starting to feel a change in my swing for the better. Practice makes perfect and with Aarron's help I'm looking to drop my handicap by 3 or 4 shots over the next 12 months. Thanks again Aarron!

Excellent facilities, Power tee booths are impressive with the auto loading to save your back :). The mini course looks amazing but I’m yet to try it as always seems super popular

Always met by friendly staff. Decent driving range and a great little par 3 course which is well kept.

Had a great challenge at this 9 hole course. Unfortunately due to the weather in the last 6 months it wasn't quite at it best. But was playable & over the last 3 days inproved considerably as the ground staff got to work as the course dried out. It's tight with some small greens, some of which are two tiered. Wild or misdirected shots are serverly punished. A good supply of balls is required if your a bit wild. The staff are very friendly & it has a well stock pro shop. A nice little cafe for a drink or a bite to eat & a driving range.

Great couple of hours out for the kids during school holidays staff friendly and polite they involved the kids for animal petting session mini golf too was fun and right on our door step

Brilliant golf course in great condition that will provide a decent test of your ability. Very friendly staff in the clubhouse and decent food. Helpful and welcoming Professional with a well stocked shop .

I'm a relatively new member here and it is a great course. Some players will no doubt complain at the lack of water hazards but make no mistake this is a real challenge. Trees everywhere, lots of bunkers, and some very quick greens in summer. The club house is a nice place to be, with good people and great food.

Best golf course for miles! Well maintained and the chef is 1st class. In the main the members are friendly as are the staff! Never heard a bad word about the place.

Superbly set up pro-am which went ahead only a day after a terrible storm. Huge credit to the green keepers for getting the course in the shape it was. As the website says it's ideal for winter golf, which is true. The food we had after was absolutely delicious. I've never played here until now and I'd love to come back in the summer and play it again.

Had a fantastic visit to Sandwell Park over the bank holiday. One of the friendliest welcomes received by staff and members from the pro shop, the catering and members checking in that we had a good round. Highly recommended. Having not played the course for probably 15/18 years the layout remains absolutely brilliant. Some lovely tight, tree lined tee shots and tee shots where you could hit long iron through to driver, decisions to be made. Some absolutely lovely looking Par 3’s all very different. Some elevated tee shots including a Par 5 which is always a treat. Fantastic layout and really varied off the tee and into the greens. Greens were brilliant and a real test, you’ll need to be sharp with you 5/6 footers and two putts are certainly not a given around there from longer range. A solid test of all the golf shots especially around and even more so on the greens. But a layout that is really strong. But more than anything else it the people were really sound and I’d recommend a trip on this even more than the course and that’s saying something. A lovely welcome into the clubhouse and great portions for a great price of really decent food too. Definitely worth stopping for a quick bite and a drink. Shout out to the bit of cake with the coffee too, perfect for a sweet tooth like myself. I’m sure I remember the edging around the bunkers and the paths etc being a little better years ago that would be my only criticism. It’s not bad, but this place deserves perfection really. But don’t let that out you off bunkers played really well. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff. Great course with interesting challenging holes, and the best greens I have played on in UK. The catering staff and food was also top notch. A hidden Midlands gem. Well done Sandwell, we will be back.

I dare anyone to find a better value course than Sandwell Park golf club. From the play out, to the carpet like fairways, the tree lined fairways and the friendly staff/members. Just a lovely lovely parkland course hidden away from suburbia.

Played in the well organised winter open on 13 December and thoroughly enjoyed the course. First things first, you can get a seriously good (and reasonably priced) breakfast roll to start things off. The welcome in the pro shop and the bar was very friendly and welcoming, both from the staff and the members we met. I enjoyed the variety in the course, which was in very playable condition. The par 4 15th was my favourite hole, involving a tough drive, dogleg and steep climb up to green. I got a 5, but it felt like a par!! Definitely intend to visit again.

I've played here several times over the years, most recently yesterday. The members we played with were very welcoming and excellent hosts. There are some quirky holes where the fairways cross over each other, which I can imagine may cause a bit of confusion if you hadn't played here before. The course itsself was in very good condition, after all the rain we'd had over the past few days it wasn't damp under foot at all, and the greens ran true. We had a very lovely chicken dinner which was served by the kitchen staff who were very professional and polite.

Every year four local golf clubs formed in 1892 compete for the centenary salver. Moseley, South Staffs, Stourbridge, and Kings Norton. This year it was the turn of Stourbridge to host the 2021 event. Kings Norton were the winners.

Played using the 1892 reciprocal agreement with 7 others. We were made to feel so welcome by both staff and members. Course was in great conditionwith challenging greens. Would go back anytime.

Great course in great condition even in the winter or after heavy rain. Very open but has some great long par 4's. It's 9 holes with alternate tee off points, and has a MONSTER 9th/18th!!!

Great nine hole large course small pitch and put practice greens and foot golf Only draw back is the tee boxes on small pitch and put need to be changed to small natural grass boxes as they are a little bit dated and need repair. But overall definitely worth the visit and will definitely come again for a full 18 / will use a buggy as I think the walk will kill me.

Hired the function room for a baby shower and it was perfect. Katie (I hope I remembered her name correctly) was a star, she made us feel so welcome and like no job was too much for her. Price was very good. Service was top notice. What was included in the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended. Generally even those at the club who spotted our function were very friendly so very nice experience. Thank you & the view was beautiful from the function room (pictured)

Very challenging course with wonderful views. The members are friendly and will allow you to play through. Played here today and the greens have vastly improved 👌
