Lovely course in good condition considering the time of year, went as a guest and received a warm friendly welcome

We had a lovely round here. Considering the time of year and the amount of rain there has been, the course was in great condition. It's clearly very well looked after. The course itself is charming and a good test. There are a number of excellent holes, in particular 12 and 16, which are both spectacular. We also had a very friendly welcome in the bar. A bargain at the price. Would be great to see more historical memorabilia in the clubhouse. Photo shows 16th

Myself and my wife played at Fulford Heath on Friday 7th July and we were very kindly given a courtesy round, by Paul Aitkens the Club Manager, due to our course hosting the Midland Youth Championships all week as it has done for the last 37 years!! The welcome we received was from everyone at Fulford Heath was warm and friendly and the course itself was in excellent all round condition and a very good test of golf. The greens were immaculate, very quick and true and a real pleasure to putt on. We had lunch before we played which was lovely and the pint on the patio after the round was very welcome indeed. The members we came across were extremely friendly and genuinely pleased to have us there which was nice. We even had a laugh and a joke with the fourball who had played behind us. Such nice people!! Overall we had a fabulous day on a superb course and receieved such a lovely welcome from everybody at Fulford Heath 🙂!! If you haven't played it before then it's a must visit and we are sure you will enjoy it just as much as we did!! We will certainly return in the very near future, hopefully in a Mixed Open at some point. Thanks again Paul and everyone else associated with Fulford Heath you are a real credit to your golf club. I joined Fulford Heath G.C. In 1990, midway through a County career spanning six decades. The course has always challenged me in a fair way.. On several holes you have to hit the fairway or even a single figure handicap will drop a shot. Some holes have a risk and reward element to them. The greens are fairly flat except for the 10th and 18th but you still have to borrow correctly if faced with a long general slope. After 35 years it is still the most interesting of challenges ! Good track, as always, especially considering it was October. Very generous slope rating, so if you are looking to get your handicap down, this is a good option. Food was exceptional, clubhouse staff great, and a great reception from the pro shop too. Don't visit if you are a worm though; seemingly not welcome anywhere near the fringes or greens here.

Great place, went there for dinner with family, the meat, cauliflower cheese very nice, everything else was either to hard or under cooked

Played here in a Seniors competition and I cannot recommend this course highly enough, the staff on arrival and prior to teeing off were extremely friendly and welcoming, the course was in fantastic condition with fast and true greens and well maintained fairways. There are some narrow fairways so accuracy off the tee is a must, something which was unfortunately lacking in my game! I look forward to returning.

Wonderful golf course… a bit narrow on few holes to play, but it was beautiful… what makes this place even more wonderful are the staff in here…. A big shout out to Mr. Martin at the pro shop… he is a wonderful person who helped me out on the booking and getting me setup for the game… Coventry Golf Club… Mr. Martin is one of your Best Diamond Asset !!! Of course, not to forget the resturant staff esp. Ms. Jayne… Thank you for the wonderful service ! Will be back here for sure ! Cheers !!!

A good course in great condition. Had a society day there and everyone enjoyed the challenge of this golf course. Staff were excellent, only downside was the price £46 for 18 holes on the weekend.

Played Wishaw golf club today what a jewel the greens were immaculate, like putting on billiard tables, the fairways pristine aesthetically, of course, inspires, great Golf. I was so impressed clean tidy. I can’t surprise the condition of the course enough congratulations to all the Green staff I would definitely recommend playing this golf course to all, and everyone what are gem thank you, Richard and Jo for a memorable days golf 👍

The club and course are amazing. From the first day we arrived, Richard made us feel very welcome and nothing but smiles from the other staff. Jason always seems to be working on the club, and Erin, behind the bar, never seems to have a day off! I'm so pleased I moved there, and 7 of us came across. Here's to many years ahead playing golf!

We arranged a funeral reception here on Monday 2nd September, cannot thank every member of staff involved enough for the respect and kindness they showed us throughout the day. Quality of food was first class and every request was actioned without hesitation, Special thanks to Richard who from initial contact was there for us every step of the way, heartfelt thanks from all the family to everyone involved

Top notch course, beautifully kept, immaculate fast greens with a very interesting layout. A small burn comes into play on a number of holes , sometimes in driving range. Food as ever is excellent, as a society we have visited 4 times and will continue to keep returning as they always make us feel welcome , a proper members club.

What a lovely place the course was in superb condition. Then after, the food was really spot on. All the staff were very friendly and polite. Would recommend a visit.

What a fantastic place, the course is pristine, the greens are lightening quick, great practice facilities and the club house is really nicely laid out and welcoming. The members greet you and make you feel welcome. This was my first time there, but I will be returning again soon. If you have not been to Ladbrook park, put it at the top of your list of ones to play. You will not be disappointed.

Somehow, off a 9 handicap index I had a 7 playing handicap! Maybe it was the 45mph wind but it wasn't easy! Some stunning holes.... 1 is a nice opener 2 is a risk reward 3 a cracking par 5 up hill! 4 a quirky little par 3 with a 10 foot layered green 8 the par 6! (Bit bland actually but still a par 6 at 666yds off the yellows and 725 off the blues! Back 9 equally had some really nice variety of holes, ending with the TPC Sawgrass style 17th which is the final test at West Midlands. The welcome was less than perfect but as a golf course...well worth a trip

Attended a wedding here. Wonderful place.Staff were friendly and always smiling and with beautiful surroundings. Also have a large well stocked fishing lake

Awesome experience. Beautiful place in the nature with great views, plenty of place to take a short walk, sit and have a sip of tea/coffee. We also ordered some foods. Nachos was very good. Prawn cocktail, however, was not. Coffee was one of the best I have ever had. Going again for sure.

Went to the lights cycle show Was VERY pretty! Very well set up,planned & organised perfectly! There were drinks,food at toilets,at the start & half way around. It was very rel a ring environment to be in! & I really enjoyed it ALL!-

We actually visited this place for the Light Cycles show. Really enjoyed the show however would be great to have a bit more activities.

This is a very well run and equipped driving range - with a great range radar showing all your shot distances, speed and detail. The team are very helpful and there are training/coaching areas for private lessons. If golf isn't your thing you can always take advantage of the excellent bar food available in the club house !

Went for the light cycles show. Pricing average for 45 minutes trail. Could have been larger.

DJ hear a few times had a lovely renovation of room would highly recommend

Fantastic presentation night held here for Foxes NC for the 2nd year running. Venue is perfect. Staff couldn’t do enough to help and buffet was brilliant. The main room has been refurbished and it looks amazing 🦊

Played here after an avalanche of rain. The course was in absolutely perfect condition though. Great course with sone really testing holes.

A really lovely golf course in immaculate condition. Great value too. Only negative, the “members only” signs don’t make visitors feel overly welcome…. Perhaps “members and playing visitors only” would be better. Will definitely play again though.

Massive thanks to Lucy and the team for helping our special day run so smoothly. Communication was great and Lucy really did go above and beyond from when we booked all the way through to the big day. We would definitely recommend Aston Wood for your own celebrations.

Had afternoon tea in the bar, it was something I've wanted to do for a while. It was fantastic! Michelle was greeting and serving everyone, she is lovely and has an amazing personality. She was so personable with every table. It's such a lovely location and atmosphere. Ali A was serving the drinks too, keeping teas and cold drinks topped up, he was very friendly to everyone. They both gave the perfect balance of service and conversation with the customers. The staff make the experience lovely and the food is amazing! We loved everything that was served, all the flavours were amazing (we'll definitely be back with our mom)

Good quality spa. Rooms lovely and spacious. Treatment was pleasant. We enjoyed the swimming pool and lounging chairs. High standards of staff and facilities. Food was delicious. Waiting staff efficient while maintaining a friendly relaxed manner.
