Tremendous golf course, staff in pro were very helpful and welcoming. Course was in great condition and a tough test of golf. Back nine very tight but nice variety of holes throughout the course.

Simply Awesome 👌 After taking my son here for some golf lessons, I can only say this place clearly has the WOW factor! The course itself is impressive, immaculate, maintained to a very high standard and very much has the unspoilt, quintessential rural England feel about it! Nick Fox the golf coach is equally impressive. His positive, thoughtful approach to teaching with the human touch certainly shines through in all he does! The way he conducts himself connecting with the individual, honing in on their character, putting the child at ease throughout is special! His attention to detail and expertise whilst teaching is meticulous but always friendly. In essence, I found the overall ambiance and friendliness of the club, from Ian Dickinson the men’s captain and it’s members generally something it seems is ingrained throughout and certainly somewhere I would wish my son to be! Lincolnshire has some great golfing heritage and this place is unquestionably the jewel in the crown 👑

One of the best courses I have played in ages. The course is stunning. From tee to green it is very well maintained. A real challenging course that requires you to be straight off the tee and accurate with your irons. Well placed bunkers and water hazards add to the challenge. Well worth playing!!!

For a municipal course it's great value! Really enjoyed the challenge. The new bunker work is excellent. Hope you can do the rest!

As a member I am probably bias, but as a municipal course it is very well maintained. The course offers a great variety of challenging holes with a great test for golfers of all abilities. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

The course is in great condition, returning after almost 20 years away and to trees have grown. Still a great challenge. Greens are in really good condition, additional drainage added to certain holes, great effort

pleased to see the mats on the driving range have been replaced. good value for money. daughter is a member at holme hall golf club - this is good for practising both driver shots as well as target practice with irons. attached 9 holes course not bad for practice either.

Great long weekend here! The lodge and hot tub was beautiful and A great size to comfortably fit a family of 6! We loved the tennis and fishing! We will definitely be returning, maybe for a full week rather than 3 nights!

I do recommended to renovation practice area. It's dirty and old!! But 3 golf courses are absolutely stunning as always!! You can see Pines Bar photos menu on my post! Our snack lunch is great 👍🏻 👌.

Everything about the hotel was top notch. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the accommodation had everything we wanted. As for the golf, probably the best course I’ve played!! Great condition and superb layout. Would highly recommend.

More of a 4.5, but just a couple of minor let downs. Firstly, it was about -1, so naturally the course was a bit frosty in places, but for £30 you won't get better value for a winter round of golf. We played the Forest/Pines layout, and every hole was different and presented different challenges. It is a well thought out lay out, where anything wayward will get punished, but not to the point of not feeling like you can get yourself out of a tight spot. The few let downs were - Some tee boxes were in play, others were off winter mats that were the size of doormats, and they were horrendously slippy (a mixture of the cold weather, but they were all well worn too). Every pin was right at the front edge of every green - Again, it's winter on a very good golf course so naturally you expect the greens to be protected, but it just meant you were putting through a very trodden area each time, and for the better golfers out there, there was no real reward for finding the centre of a green, or flighting a shot over the hazards etc. The Pines Bar was a nice spot, but there was no indication if food was available, other than empty plates that had been left on 4 or 5 tables , and there wasn't a menu for food in sight. Overall, it's the middle of winter, so you're never going to see or play a course at it's true stature, so we will return in the Spring and see what it's like, but certainly worth the money at this time of year

It's OK. It's the only decent hotel in area which gives them a bit of a monopoly. Rooms themselves are looking a little tired and could do with new carpet and and a good deep clean (dust all around headboard). Beds are well past their best too. I had a room with ac which only went down to 21c. I booked a room with ac as I like a cold room for sleeping in. Asking in reception I was told this is centrally controlled and can't be changed. A few hours later my colleague checks in and has also booked a room with ac and his went down to 18. Few min on Google and mine went down to 16. I don't know if reception staff were told to say this due to penny pinching or if they didn't know or simply didn't care but I didn't really appreciate it after spending up to £200 a night for a room. Fitness facilities are OK with large pool, steam and sauna. Food doesn't have enough variety for evening meals and is very expensive. Sutton Arms down the road is good if you want a change of scenery. Breakfast was excellent but coffee machine is powdered milk. Better with the filter coffee and fresh milk which is on offer.

Lovely quiet place to chill and relax….we stopped in one of the Pet Friendly one bedroom lodges. Absolutely beautiful, recently refurbished and you could tell. Furnishings are stunning 🤩 We got a lovely Dog Welcome Pack which was a nice touch, but would have preferred a welcome pack of washing up liquid, sponge and maybe a tea towel as we forgot ours!!! Clubhouse is lovely and the staff are very friendly. Nearest pubs and restaurants are in Messingham which is 2 miles away, so a little too far to walk if you like a drink 🥃

Played a round of golf and was impressed with the condition of the course. Played twilight golf so was good value for money. Only downside was the condition of the bunkers but with the weather we have had can overlook this.

We’ve just had the most relaxing morning at the spa. I had accidentally booked the wrong date when we turned up (thanks spa breaks) and was gutted, as we had planned this as a treat for my mother who has just retried. The staff without hesitation told us we could attend that morning, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this. The staff in general were extremely friendly, much more so than other spas I’ve been to over the years, and went out of their way to help you and have genuine interactions with you, which for me, is a huge part of the spa experience - you want to feel welcome, so you can feel instantly relaxed. The facilities were great, especially on a sunny day, and we all had the most relaxing and enjoyable time,. It’s a fairly small spa, but the quality of the sauna, steam, pools etc. make it feel luxurious and worth every penny. The lunch was exquisite, sometimes they can feel a bit slap dash or you’re present with a buffet bar, but not this place with a team of excellent chefs on hand, it feel like an up market restaurant, adorned with teddy couches and a decour that was eloquent and zen. Thank you to the staff for making our retirement treat a wonderful experience, I’ve left her with two very happy and relaxed women, so I would highly recommend and will certainly be returning.

Laceby Manor Resort and Spa in North Lincolnshire is a luxurious retreat that offers a perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and elegance. Nestled in a picturesque countryside setting, this resort provides an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodations at Laceby Manor are top-notch, we stayed at the HAMILTON LODGE with spacious rooms that are tastefully decorated and equipped with all modern amenities. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Many rooms offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape, adding to the tranquil ambiance of the resort. The lodge was exceptionally well-equipped, paying meticulous attention to every detail, ensuring that all you need to bring is your shopping. I didn't know such quality and service existed in the UK until experiencing Laceby Manor. We are a family of five, and my three children were genuinely saddened when we left the lodge, a testament to how much they loved the experience. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful experience at the Laceby Manor. Very beautiful settings and landscape. Instructions were very easy to follow. Me and the other half had a splendid few days away. Reason I’m giving it a 4* is because although the pods inside was very clean and tidy the negative was the outside of the pods as it was very dirty with cobwebs, spiders and random flies stuck near the entrance. If housekeeping could when tidying the pods clean the outside it would have gotten a 5* as that was the only negativity we had. Other than this I would recommend this to couples of even small families.
