Really good course & requires a different set of skills.(lots of chip & run/putter action) Fairways are wide & the grass is really short. Greens lovely & nice scenery……you get a few Forest ponies walking about but they cause no issues.

Some great holes

As with other courses where cattle roams, it is very wide open, the fairways are undefined and the greens a touch slow with the odd hoof mark.

If that isn’t a deal breaker, this is a very enjoyable golf course.

Clubhouse facilities more than adequate.

Great little course and you rarely play from a flat lie which will improve your game. Several par fours that are reachable in one for the bigger hitters but enough tricky holes to keep it interesting. No lush fairways as it’s a Forest course, but ‘pick and place’ all year round. I’d give the course a 7/10, but the clubhouse and the members a good 9/10. The affordability of a round and the wildlife make it well worth a visit.

II absolutely loved it, excellent value for money. Played two rounds while I was on holiday. The scenery is stunning, with wild horses running everywhere, beautiful. The staff were very friendly, and other than a few hoof prints on the greens, the courses are in good condition :-)

fabulous course well worth a visit very friendly and beautiful location.. stunning greens very well presented and not very hilly perfect day for my birthday
will be back for sure
