Lovely village pub on the green, we come here a lot. The food is good for a pub but I don't love the new menu as much as the old one and staff have gone through quite a lot of change and the new manager isn't as welcoming or friendly as the old one,
Cozy fire and lovely cake and coffee shop in a yurt in the garden. No real garden to speak of it's a courtyard with a shelter and 10 or so tables.
Went to this pub , my daughter lives close by. Great service some of the food was great the fish and chips not so , I would presume frozen but nut great quality and over fried. But on balance it was a lovely pub , good selection of wines for a pub and would defo visit again..
Was a very cosy, warm and inviting place to eat and have a drink. The service was just 10 out of 10 in my opinion, we didn’t have to move a muscle.
I had the fish and chips which was really good, was the kind of batter that doesn’t leave you a little sick but very kindly full
A lovely setting for a Sunday lunch. Great management, wonderful bar staff. First time there and can't fault them.
Will definitely be back in the future.
First visit to this pub today with my friend who was visiting me.
Service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was nice. The garden and inside dining space was beautiful.
Food was lovely and tasty. I also liked the fact they mentioned service charge when presenting the bill and the lady said it was optional though she fully deserved it.
Will be back and will recommend to friends.
