Brilliant place with a fantastic view and a playground for little ones. Service is fantastic very attentive. Food was beautiful, I've order chicken nuggets for my daughter for £7.50, portion was huge, and the actual nuggets were large pieces od breaded chicken breast with cheddar inside. All portions were large and super tasty, they're using local produce from Secretts farm. Just beautiful. Great experience all throughout.

Always a nice welcome and friendly staff and this lovely community-run local pub. In the summer we have enjoyed eating in the garden with its far reaching views. We have eaten here a few times and until now always had good food. But on this occasion the food was poor.

The pie was swimming in gravy that lacked any flavour, it would also have been nicer to serve the gravy separately. Sadly the food was cold and had to be returned to the kitchen, the pub was not busy and it really seemed a shame that they missed the mark on this occassion.

We also noted that the menu was not as interesting as it had been earlier in the year.

I am hoping this was a 'blip' and that normal service will resume. We will give it another go sometime soon.

A lovely country pub. Good, hearty food full of flavour and soul. Now stop looking at the menu and just order the Beef Bourguignon. It’s absolutely spectacular.

Really glad we made our walkers lunch stop at this traditional pub in the pretty village of Thursley. Friendly, professional & welcoming staff. Real ale was well kept. Homemade sandwiches were tasty. Competitive prices. Live music on a Saturday afternoon was a real bonus! Would definitely visit here again.
