Had a poor winter with greens suffering due to the unprecedented rainfall but has well and truly turned the corner now. The introduction of the new head greenskeeper along with the hard work of the current staff has got the greens back to their best and the fairways are fantastic. Great value for money. Good to see it back to the standard it should be!

Beautiful course. Friendly staff and members. 10th hole sign for No Drivers allowed on the hole needs to be more prominent. I totally missed it because the tee box is way in front of the sign. If it wasn't for a member telling me, I was hitting driver...

Lovely golf course to play on. Highly recommended for beginners too. And the greens were outstanding, not a bit of moss/weed in them.

Friendly staff, great price and very quiet for an evening round we almost had the course to ourselves.. really enjoyed it, some tricky holes but very well kept and an enjoyable few hours. We'll be back for sure

An enjoyable round of golf and never overly crowded. Teed off at 2pm and nobody followed us so me and wife had a great 3hours. Although not too many golfers were around the wildlife was just as entertaining.
The route to the course is also as entertaining. It follows the line of the canal but needs resurfacing as the undulating road is part single, part double lane which you cannot speed down as unexpected cars appear around each sharp corner.
The bar is ok but as I have designed many golf clubs in my time it could do with a good redesign to take advantage of the great surrounding landscape and aspects over the greens that surround the the club. There are the usual training rooms with in-house golf pro teachers for the young golfers wanting to learn the skills we older golfers would have wanted to have access to when we first started to learn the sport/pastime.
