“This is my third visit to this club in 10 years and I must say things are looking a bit tired. The course has held up well after the dreadful weather we have experienced over this past year and this has shown especially on the greens. It has created very challenging putting issues with no way of reading the speed (slow) or performance (bobbling) on the surface. The tees were in excellent condition and much can be said of the fairways but off line in the semi rough and ball lose was high for all our groups as the grass has not mowed due to weather conditions and the softness of the ground. The club house is also looking a bit tired with paint work needed just about everywhere, all said I very much like this club with some long challenging holes and will recommend to others.”

“Decent course, really enjoyed playing here. Booked via Golf Now and was a bit disappointed to find out it was 2 X 9 holes. Not sure if it was just the day I visited but the course just seemed to smell. Maybe it’s because the Mersey is next to it, I don’t know. Tight fairways means opportunity to hit lots of trees and I just did that. All around decent course though.”
