Great staff,even better course,played on October 4th in our society,despite the down pour the night before the course wad immaculate,will definitely be back every year without doubt,could do with a map of some sort either on card or the tee signs but top course many thanks.

This is a nice golf course. We played it in the middle of a lod of rain so the course was wet but it held up pretty well. I think any course would have struggled with the amount of rain we'd had and a lot of courses would have closed. All the course was in play and all the greens were in use. The only quibble I have is the layout of the facilities. The clubhouse is separate from the proshop and the driving range so you end up sat in the proshop waiting area rather than the bar if you're waiting to play or for others to come in, which is a bit unusual.

It's ok, nothing special. Tees aren't great. Fairways and greens about what you'd expect for a muni. Good layout and some decent holes to make it interesting. Very slow play even going out early on a Saturday and not really a £35 course. Practice green wasn't great.

Played here for the first time recently. It's a great course, with some fantastic holes. The course itself is in good condition, albeit dry due to the recent hot weather, which can't be helped. The club house and staff were great. All round excellent golf club, will definitely return.

This is a good test of golf here. You'll use all the clubs in the bag. Positioning is key to a lot of the holes here rather than distance. Course was in pretty condition with good greens running at a good speed. Nice clubhouse with friendly staff all at a decent price. Would recommend a visit if you can fit it in.

Arrived today to play and my son realised he had actually booked yesterday. Not a problem let us play which they didn’t have to do. Course was beautiful really enjoyed it. My son has played before but my first time and most definitely not my last. Great course great condition fair prices in the bar. Thanks for your understanding and see you soon.

Attended christening party in Haydock golf club, beautiful surroundings. Club and restaurant very clean and nice, fresh decorated. Staff was very helpful and professional. It’s enough space for 100 guests or even more.

Popped in for a quick visit on a Saturday very busy infact the overflow carpark was nearly full. Nice walk in the grounds shame you cant actually go in the hall. Paking cheap but nightmare to pay as 1 machine was broken

Played foot golf here a few times. It is on the normal 9 hole golf course, this makes it a very different feel to the normal specially made foot golf courses which are very flat. Great variety of holes, good little shop and fantastic views. Sat & Sun during the summer. 11am-4pm

Love this place. There is so much to do by yourself or with the family. High hall has an amazing adventure playground for the kids. There are toilets, cafe, chocolate shop, farm shop and so much more. It's a great place and truly beautiful, little hidden gems like the walled garden and much more. At the park you can also play toddlers crazy goal for £1. Then they have a more advance crazy golf adults and kids alike, not sure of the price . There is a high wire adventure for the more adrenalin junkie in you, also not sure of the price. Great day out which can cost as little or as much as you want!!!

My first time visit its huge park many rides for children..kitchen garden Area also available there ..cafe shop..ice cream vans..for sitting many beaches ⛱ tables there..overall nice place for picnic specially in summers

Hindley GC was a nice course with some good holes considering the weather and rain we had had recently the course was in ok condition, we played at the end of March and they were still playing off fairway mats. Greens had just been worked on so weren't playing at their best. Friendly club fair price with county card discount.

Been here now for a couple of different functions. Room at the back is a great space for accommodating 100 people easy with access to a bar and a small dance floor. Prices for drinks are reasonable too

My boy (5) got a free membership, the club could not be more friendly and accommodating. He’s done a couple of rounds now and everyone is so friendly, always chatting to him, encouraging him and has a great down to earth atmosphere. The manager Dave even came in to sign him up on a Sunday morning. Great course too, couldn’t be more complimentary. Can’t wait for the summer!

didn't go the golf course had a walk round the lake ..was quite busy as the kids are of school nice walk.

What a great day out to walk around the Pennington Flash lake. Took us 2 hours to complete the round from the car park next to the bridge.
