What a great little course. 1st time here today and loved it. We will 100% be back! Price is more than fair at £8 for 9 holes or £13 for 18. Like that you get the option after paying and playing 9 you can pay the £5 and go again if you want.

Lovely little course, well looked after! Managed to drive the 9th hole last round so its my favourite place at the minute!

It was a nice experience, I think it was 2 or 3 of the par 3s was just a tad too short to count as a hole lol but the rest was great to play the par 4s was good too. All in all the greens was well enough £8 isnt too bad and it's great practice for the short game which I didn't know I needed until I played here haha.

Brilliant course. Nice having a par 4 to start and end the round. Makes it feel bigger than it is.

Proper golf in January no mats no temp greens helpful staff and friendly members would join this course if it was 20 miles closer

Fabulous, well priced course. Buggy hire extremely reasonable. The course is laid out very well as has some really challenging holes. A good test around. The greens are impeccably kept and the bunkers bar one are near perfect. Play advised......

Not bad condition for November. Boggy in spots but greens were good. Think £28 is a bit high for the time of year and condition. Played February. Greens were still good but it was plugging a lot. Lost a couple of balls that landed not far off the fairway. Not many places let you play full greens and tees this time of year so fair enough considering the weather

First time I played this course and I found it a very pleasent well maintained course but very tricky, with some course knowledge I would of shot better. After playing this course around 10 times over the last few months, I decided to come back to this review and add to it. The greens at Hart Common are some of the best I've played, and consistent throughout. Fairways are also very well kept. Some great bunkers well placed. Again this is a tricky course keep it on the fairway and you'll be rewarded.

Plays very well even after days of heavy rain, not much surface water. Great, long holes, not too challenging and great for newer golfers.

The term hidden Gem gets used a lot but this is definitely hidden and its definitely a gem. The club has a great setting with a long single track drive from the main road through the course to a stunning clubhouse that has a moat with Black Swans on it. The staff were fantastically helpful and friendly. The course starts with a really tough 200+ yard par 3 (play for the front edge wherever the pin is). The course is a really enjoyable layout, not a tough walk or overly long and it was in very good condition.

Even late in the season the course was really well presented, nice tightly mown fairways & some lovely run off areas around the greens. Definitely a plotters golf course, lots of holes require placement from the tee to allow clear shots into the greens.

Fantastic customer service! I ordered 3 items online and in my excitement didn't notice that I had selected the wrong size on drop down for 1 item. I had a driver fitting today with Andy. Brilliant experience. Andy was really knowledgeable and took his time going through different heads and shafts to improve my drive length and dispersion. 100% recommend the fitting process.

Great golf course but not for the faint hearted, panoramic views across West Lancashire make the climb on some holes well worthwhile. Love the food and members bar overlooking the with green. Very friendly throughout.

Such a wonderful venue for an informal family celebration. service, food and setting were second to none. Staff were so accommodating and helpful and pricing was very reasonable. My wife had a memorable seventieth birthday as a result. All twenty one guests were highly impressed and will visit again, with one considering taking up golf! At Houghwood, ofcourse.😁

Very attractive golf course with a variety of interesting, and testing, parkland holes. Good views and well presented. Friendly staff. Very close to the M6 motorway.

Cracking course. Not the longest but some great holes. I managed a good few pars which I was made up with. I got a bit confused with some of the tees and some are adjacent to each other but members pointed me in the right direction. Some good downhill drives and driveable par 4 which I nearly managed one of them. Would definitely return

Dean Wood is an established course with two contrasting 9's .The 1st9 is mature tree lined parkland course with undulating fairways with fairway bunkers. The 2nd9 is completely different basically 9 holes in a valley but not exhausting walk. Which I found a challenge. Lateral streams & not a flat piece of ground. Therefore course management comes into play? Greens were good & ran true. Fairways were in good condition as well. With driving nets & practise putting chipping greens. Good Club house & Pro Shop with friendly staff. Overall a very good course will definitely play again and worth a visit

Stunning course, the trees can be punishing so accuracy is needed. Greens were in great condition with some tricky putts. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Would highly recommend going.

Good driving range, reasonable price for balls and plenty of greens and flags to aim for. Since using the range I've had 2 lessons and a club fitting with Carla White at the pro shop. The prices are very competitive and the tuition as brought my shots to a more consistent predictable level. Would highly recommend the tuition at sycamores.

Quite a good little driving range, seems fairly priced. There is a golf shop on site but I think I've only ever seen it open once in the numerous times I have visited over the years. A bonus star for the cat that we have that visited us while we were sat playing golf.

I'm from Liverpool, and in Goldbourne visiting my niece, when I called into Sycamores Golf Centre. What a little gem of a driving range. A hundred balls cost only £6, and good range balls they were too. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. If you're passing through this area and you've got your clubs in the boot, just call in and give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!
