Called in for a bite to eat and was very impressed with the food and service! I had a steak and stilton pie with chips and mushy peas and my partner had a 10oz gammon steak with chips and salad. Love that they are dog friendly and have recommended to family and friends that own dogs! The price was absolutely spot on as well, will definitely be visiting again!

Great pub. Friendly staff and AMAZING food. I recommend the Boston Burger, you will not get a better Burger anywhere else. Totally brilliant. 🍔👏👍.

Visited yesterday evening/night with ‘the’ ladies, after they have refurbished which is still ongoing but not in the main bar area. They are serving food now too and two of our group partook, both had fish, chips and mushy peas, one small one large. Both were lovely, the chips *chefs kiss 💋 crunchy outer and fluffy inside spot on. We met and spoke to both the owners and staff, in fact had an in depth convo with one owner (he may have had a need to escape us ladies 🤭) he was very accommodating, informed us of what they wanted to do, what they had already done and listened to us genXr’s submitting our own advice towards meals, entertainment and social media promotion. Honestly, they all made us feel so welcome, nothing too much and a part of their journey. We will obviously be going again and I have already gushed about it to my friends and relatives 😁 Thank you all at The Batemans Mill

Very warm and welcoming. Food is very nice. Staff and owners are very friendly and make it even better. Nice to call in after walking the dog. Nice to have it open again.

Lovely lil place hidden really but hope all reviews make it a popular visit. Staff very welcoming menu is very tasty well priced family quiz all proceeds are going to a defibrillator for pub brilliant idea in my book all the girls are lovely to speak too and genuine if you're lucky you will be welcomed by a roaring log fire pending season live bands and family quizes and games room soon.
