Alex and his team are the best gardening company in the Woking area.They came to cut our hedges, shape and cut our shrubs and give the garden a tidy up on 23rd Nov 2024.The team went beyond the work I'd asked them to do.They arrived on time, were polite and cheerful.It has taken us years to find really good gardeners and now we have.Great work team and we'll see you soon

Ross and his team from The Garden Tamer have been doing garden maintenance for me for years. Ross is reliable, knowledgeable and professional. He's also carried out larger pieces of work such as replacing a patio and clearing an overgrown garden at a rental property and more recently driveway works where I live now. All works completed well and on time: would recommend!

More recently, again with their care and attention to detail, they adapted another garden for me. Frances and her team have expert knowledge and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They listen carefully to my ideas and carry them out whilst also making suggestions that add much to make the garden quite perfect.

Our garden was planned just as we wanted it with some brilliant ideas that we would never have thought. The patio, stepping stone path and dry stone wall were installed with great skill and attention to detail. We loved the planting. The garden has become even more beautiful with time.

Frances & Rob completely transformed our garden. They worked with us to create a design we were happy with and then did the back breaking work taking our hillside unusable scrubland into a stunning garden we love! Visitors to the house comment on our stunning garden so hats off to Frances and Rob. The patio, stone steps and state of art decking are particularly worth recognition. They were also a delight to work with.

With an empty patch of back garden grass, we were told time and time again how lucky we were to have a blank canvas. We just felt like we didn’t know where to begin, or even what we wanted. After a long period of indecision we enlisted the help of the Bushy Boys. What a great choice it turned out to be. From the word “go” they were unfailingly helpful, respectful, accommodating and were clearly experienced professionals. The degree of attention to detail and their willingness and eagerness to decipher our rambling descriptions of our desired elements of the garden was quite remarkable. Every single one of them worked tirelessly through some of the worst weather; snow, wind, ice and rain, ensuring everything was safe, clean and tidy at the end of the day. Each morning they arrived on time, usually early in fact, smartly turned out and ready to start work. No loud music, no swearing, no long cigarette breaks and certainly no beer bellies or builders bums. They came to here work, they were reliable, and they always put in a full day. They were not boastful or big talkers, and it immediately became evident that the standard of their work, their enthusiasm and their passion was the driving force behind their commitment. Their clear communication and regular updates were completely reassuring. I never felt as if I didn’t know what was going on, and they were always happy to discuss and suggest ideas. I had complete confidence in their capabilities. I began to notice very subtle, yet unannounced, levels of excellence in their work which were far beyond my expectations, the lining up of stepping stones with stones in the patio, pleasing sight lines blending in with the house, the perfect lines of the hand built pergola, the happily going above and beyond because it pleased them to be perfect. Not to mention the imaginative and elegant planting. Well, these guys have planted Gold Medal winning Chelsea gardens......why was I so surprised and delighted!? For these reasons, along with countless others, you won’t be surprised to hear that our garden now looks and feels that it is greater than the sum of the parts! We could not be happier. I would suggest that you don’t waste time and money with less capable and less committed companies. Engage Bushy Business, if they can squeeze you in! You will not be disappointed, even if you are slightly put off by their name..... Bushy Business is actually NOT a waxing salon, the Bushy Boys are the ones to get the job done the way you want it. When I purchased a dilapidated Victorian Cottage situated on the picturesque Cranleigh Cricket Green, A V Design were recommended to me through a friend who had used their services in the past. As it turns out, the recommendation couldn’t have been a better fit. A V Designs vision for the internal and external spaces were overwhelming. The 2 bedrooms on the first floor were only accessible via a steep and narrow staircase (located on the wrong side of the cottage), the property only benefitted from 1 bathroom located on the ground floor, a tiny kitchen was situated in a mixture of small and unusable rooms. A V Design have been transformed the ground floor into a sympathetic open plan living space, the extension proposed and obtained by A V Design was also granted. Allowing for a third bedroom and 3 upstairs en-suites. With the additional windows, reconfiguration of the spaces and the use bi-fold doors – my tired and dark Victorian Cottage was transformed. A V Design specified all the interior décor, joinery, lighting/electrical plans and finishes, to suit a classic and timeless feel. The transformation is utterly charming whilst functional. The garden whilst an awkward shape and overgrown, included only one tree worth keeping. The garden is less than 2 years old and looks like it has been there forever. Providing me with a sanctuary 365 days a year 24/7 with the clever use of outdoor lighting and borders that provide interest for each season. Privacy was an issue and the use of fences wasn’t an option, A V Design completely removed an overgrown privet hedge which had spread 2.5meters wide into an already small garden. Pleached trees and mature yew hedging have been used to create a series of outdoor rooms, which, at a flick of a switch are subtlety lit by outdoor lights. A V Designs philosophy of ‘inside/outside’ works harmoniously with the bi-fold doors creating an alfresco experience, whilst, each window benefits from a glorious view of the garden. Bradley Burgess and his team are utterly brilliant, they understood the brief, offered solutions to every concern about preserving the historical significance of the property whilst also making it functional. A V Design have created my dream home, Lizzie Kempson.

From the view of Box Hill that you uncovered behind the big Holly Bush, to the clever use of Ewe trees to divide the garden and create the illusion of a bigger space by tying in our planting with our neighboring gardens landscaping. The genius design of our living jasmine walls have provided privacy and year round greenery. Every day, we look out at our garden and it brings us joy. Thank you! Thank you also for all the interior design work you did carried out for us. I was able to fully put my trust into you to make the right choices and to make all the decisions. Picking out our tiles, paint colours and room layouts. I get so many compliments on the design of our home and it is all down to you and your wonderful eye for style, timeless chic and bold ideas that just work. Adding Value Design did an incredible job in securing a planning application for my property early in 2019. The CAD drawings and vision were exactly what my house and I needed. A V Design communicated directly with the local borough, provided 3-D visuals and secured the permission. Following the permission being granted, three tender bids from various construction firms were assessed and managed by Bradley. The build has just been completed and I couldn’t be happier. The house works seamlessly with the outside spaces. During the process, Bradley reconfigured the internal parts of the house (after a little persuasion) which I am thrilled with. I hired Craig after moving into my own place with a garden and lots to do. Craig was a fantastic find, he offered professional advise about which plants would look best in my garden and soil type, along with a high level of expertise in maintaining my neglected lawn and hedges!
