Well it's a garden centre who are a little too expensive in the cafe department. BUT, we visited just before Christmas and the shop was awash with joy. The store was like a night out in Tivoli Gardens, lots of lights and sparkles. Kids loved it. Staff were lovely, kind and helpful and there was plenty in store at good prices. Loose a star for being a bit too tight in the cafe.
UPDATE!! I can't write another review so just wanted to feedback on our Christmas Lunch! 18 of us for Lunch today - excellent service from Jo the Manager - she really looked after us - everything went like clockwork. The food was delicious, very tasty and piping hot! The Desserts were yummy - I just wish I could bake like that. Most definitely value for money - two lovely courses and tea/coffee for just £15.95 what's not to like! The restaurant here is very good, reasonably priced with a very good selection! The Christmas meal they do is excellent value for money - looking forward to our 4th Christmas lunch here in December.
We stopped for a coffee break on our way to Whitby, have to say the flowers were very colourful, excellent products in the main shop, the cheese scone and cappuccino were very good. Would recommend
