I gave Rebecca a brief of the type of garden and planting I would like to see. Having listened and interpreted my thoughts and ideas into a creative, imaginative plan I now have the garden I didn’t really know I wanted. Our garden was a serious challenge to us having a steep slope facing close in to and surrounding the house. It was dominating and felt entrapping. Finding Rebecca was the best choice we made and the only regret we have is not having used her services years earlier. She made easy work of opening up the slope to integrate the different areas into a spacious, light and beautiful garden. She combines a professional approach with a warm, easy going and friendly manner. That approach creates trust and confidence which really helped make the project run smoothly, even making it fun and enjoyable. Rebecca produced and implemented a beautiful design and plan for a part of our garden which is heavily shaded by a number of trees. She takes great care and time listening to what the customer would like and makes a careful selection of plants based on the amount of light, soil conditions etc. She also planned and installed an espalier trained fruit garden for us and managed the construction of two large garden fences, one of which had particularly difficult ground conditions, with abandoned underground concrete supports from previous works which all had to be excavated. All the work was done with the utmost dedication, meticulous attention to detail and a refusal to be defeated by any obstacles along the way! We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Rebecca is a wonderfully skilled, creative and inspiring professional who has transformed our garden from a large, wild space at the back of our house into a beautiful, wildlife friendly garden which provides interest and colour throughout the seasons. She has also installed an eco friendly garden watering system and advised us on our organic vegetable project. Rebecca combines a breadth and depth of knowledge about horticulture and garden design with first class customer service, an incredible work ethic and a lovely warm personality. It was a joy to have her working with us and we would highly recommend her.
