Lovely place to visit, with lovely smells coming from the roses. Nice cafe. Might be difficult for handicapped people in some areas due to steps and uneven surfaces. Is dog friendly

Had a lovely time exploring the gardens with my wife and dogs, beautiful gardens, and the walk by the river test is so relaxing and picturesque. We visited a bit late to see all the roses in bloom but hope to visit again and get the timing tight. The food in the on-site cafe was brilliant and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

An absolutely exceptional visit. We enjoyed a delicious lunch on the terrace with beautiful views of the gardens, followed by a walk of the grounds. The service by the staff was outstanding and they really went above and beyond in every way. We cannot recommend a visit enough!

Beautiful cafe/restaurant with delicious food. Great well kept garden with loads to see, I loved the Japanese themed part of the garden and the beautiful maze. Staff is friendly and welcoming 🙏

A lovely garden, with the longest pear tree I've ever seen .. they're an apple orchard, formal gardens, beautiful trees, including acers, that will be stunning in the autumn, the peacock garden with lovely topiary, a river walk and the Lodge is a lovely backdrop. Sometimes you can see the alpacas and black sheep.. The cafe has tables out on the patio over looking the garden.
