I’ve been using Unique since 2019 when they fitted my intruder alarm system and was really impressed with their work that they now undertake all my electrical work for my property. I was so impressed with them that I recommended them to both my dad and brother who’ve since had intruder alarms fitted by them! Unique are both professional and friendly whilst offering helpful advice along the way. Using a local company is always my philosophy as you build a relationship with them and they’re always happy to help whenever you need them. Terry did some work for us at our holiday cottage. We found him to be very accommodating and trustworthy, which was essential as he needed to be in the house alone. He also identified a fault on the electrical circuit he was originally working on and after being told that to find the fault could take anything from an hour to a day to find, we were worried about the bill we could potentially receive. The bill was very reasonable and this was another demonstration of how fair and trustworthy he is. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

Terry recently undertook the task of bringing power from our house to our external office/work space. He also wired it along with the installation of led ceiling lights and a number of sockets and switches. He also installed the associated earthing rods. In addition we asked for some help with regard to wiring our internet from the house to the new space. Terry was happy to carry out the additional work. At all times Terry was communicative, tidy and professional in the work he’s carried out for us. We were very happy with the service provided. Would use again and would happily recommend to others.

He's a great communicator, and went above and beyond to create solutions for some tricky issues with our G2 listed property, which others couldn't figure out. Lovely electricians, managed to squeeze me in last minute after I was let down by another local company. I needed the lights and the extractor fan in my new teeny downstairs toilet to be connected before building regs could be signed off, and it was done the very next day with no fuss. They also added new sockets to my utility room as I couldn't use the washing machine and dishwasher at the same time with the old ones that were already in place, as the lights all tripped. The guys were clean and tidied up after themselves. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again when the next stage of renovations start. Thanks

Faultless service from John. We wanted an extractor fan installed when we uncovered an old air vent when remodelling the bathroom. John used the vent and gave recommendations for the type of fan and relocated our light switch to include connection to the extractor fan. Clear quote and spec. of product given and plenty of advice, together with relevant documentation and final invoice for a good price. We have plenty more to do in our old house and will not hesitate to use his services again.

All work was performed to a high standard, and he really took the time to explain everything and suggest useful tips and tricks. Lo's Coffee Shop knows how to turn a Saturday evening into something legendary. We waltzed in as the Wonky Donkeys took the stage – I mean, talk about timing! The night transformed into an epic adventure, with food that could rival any gourmet joint, a great beverage selection and an atmosphere that had me wondering if Hogwarts' enchantment spilled over to this corner. The live music by the Wonky Donkeys? Let's just say they added more magic than a wand-waving wizard. And don't even get me started on the dog-friendly vibes – these folks deserve a round of applause for that. Oh, and the staff? Superheroes in aprons, no doubt. Seating's outdoors, but thank the coffee gods for those blankets that turned into cozy capes as the evening cooled. And if you think the magic stops at night, think again – they've got daytime delights too, from light bites to a coffee selection that could make a barista blush. Trust me, I've got my loyalty card ready because Lo's Coffee Shop just earned a top spot on my map of favorites.

Highly recommend F.B Electrical! Definitely be using them again. Thank you Finn. Update: We had our kitchen ripped out last Monday and I needed an electrian Tuesday before plastering on Wednesday. I phoned Finn as he has done previous work for us to see if he can come over, he was able to move his other jobs around to help and was here for half a day sorting the problems that needed doing, my kitchen has been fitted and he moved my one and only isolation switch I had for my oven and hob in one of my cupboards instead of it on show like it was. (See picture) He gave me an isolation switch for my oven, hob and fridge in one of my very small cupboards, and I now have two sockets where the old isolation switch was, We had an very old extension lead for the extractor fan lying on top of the kitchen wall cupboards which wasn't ideal, he put a nice socket in my extractor fan cupboard too. He also fitted a bathroom light, hall light and bedroom light aswell as updating my wall sockets in the kitchen, bedroom and lounge. I'm sure Finn did alot more that I haven't mentioned. Also instead of putting wires for my hob out side on show, he managed to feed them under the floorboards where there wasn't any tiles into the fuse box. Highly recommend, Great work and very tidy. Thanks again Finn, we really appreciate your hard work especially in 29° heat! ☀️

We needed to install smoke alarms in our daughter’s rental property-a relatively small job but important. We found Finn on Checkatrade and we’re very impressed with the reviews. Great find! We popped in for a late lunch. We had the classic croque and it was delicious. A great combination of flavours with a lovely dressed side salad and home made coleslaw. A really great cup of coffee too. My sons vanilla milkshake was overflowing with cream and sauce topping! Friendly staff and swift service. Nice clean toilets too. Only slight downside if there is one was that there are a few steps up to the front door which could possibly be an issue for a few customers. Highly recommended café.

The service was great and the guys are friendly and polite. The coffee was very good, the cafe is very clean and the loo is spotless, I did see the kitchen as someone came out, spotless (yes I’m nosey!) I had the Welsh rarebit I like a stronger cheese and my toast was cold, this is a personal thing, they did ask if it was ok and I said yes! Would I go back yes, would I recommend yes . Would I have Welsh rarebit again no ! The ice cream is delicious and would definitely have again.
