A beautiful little café which is bright, cozy and welcoming. The coffee was delicious and the display of cakes makes it very difficult to choose. We settled on the chocolate brownie and it was definitely a wise choice. The staff were friendly and helpful in their recommendations, if you are in the area this café is a must!

Smashing little cafe run by lovely people. I was looked after for two whole days whilst i worked from the upstairs room. The coffee and tea is top drawer and the cakes, scones and soup were delicious.

I love this Cafe. I usually have a coffee, and it's so enjoyable, but my love is cakes - and theirs are fabulous. A great price too. The owners are really friendly, and helpful. Plus, if you have a dog, they're allowed too. It's a lovely atmosphere.

Popped into this café for a coffee stop during the afternoon. I had previously visited maybe a year or two ago but the inside was not as I remembered it. It turns out there has been a new owner hence the changes. Whilst I didn’t eat this time, looking at what’s on offer, I will be back. Oh, and the coffee was great btw.

Highly recommended, everything was excellent. A great deal of effort, thought and finesse has been put into both the food and the restaurant itself. I found the prices to be just right for the quality and quantity of food ordered. Definitely one of the best places I've eaten this year. We also met Jerry and he was lovely to talk to, please keep doing what you're doing as it is working really well!

My pool team had a meal at Jerry's Steakhouse 2 weeks ago. It was brilliant, fantastic steak, chips, mushroom and onion rings. Very nice sauce too. The Biscoff cheesecake was probably the best pudding I've had. Honestly it was amazing! 😍 I definitely want to go again.

Stunning. The service was perfect, the food was immense and the decor is spectacular. This is honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever been to anywhere in the world. I regularly eat burgers when at "steakhouses" and I do this very regularly, the Bourgeois Burger I had at "Jerry's" is easily in my top 5 if all time. Flavours complimented each other perfectly and it was cooked perfectly too. Can't wait to go back to this place!!

The bar and chefs kitchen are on the ground floor also, kitchen to the back just behind a curved wall which has the stairs behind it Its an old building and they've done a great job revitalising both the outside and the interior feels super premium. There's quite a few plug points with usb on them to, so decent if you have kids with devices or coming for a cheeky work meeting etc.. The food seriously good, came in good time & service was great from all the staff, including the chef and the owners mixing in with the awesome vibes. Whether you came here regularly or just passing through, you could feel like making some new friends here with the staff and owners. Also, their pizza from the takeaway a few doors down is damn good.. Got our fussy 11yr old lads approval! 😂

It's rare to find places that are a 5 star rating across the broad, but this is certainly one such place! The food was incredible - the starter was perfect, and the steak..... easily some of the best I have ever eaten! Cooked to perfection, and everything from the sauce to the mushrooms simply complemented it so well. We visited at lunch time, so had the place alsmot to ourselves, but I am sure that the service will be utmost during busy periods - and this place it popular! So you accept that during busy times there might be a bit more of a wait. Atmosphere was great - a lovely clean, modern and upbeat restaurant, and Jerry was a pleasure to chat to as well; clearly he values his customers and the amazing business he has built up in the area. We won't hesitate to recommend this steakhouse to friends and family alike, and look forward to coming back! It's a shame Google won't remove the obviously false 1 star review from someone who cannot accept that it's the Business that controls the opening times and not what Google lists (they're not in real time love!). So for anyone looking to go here, pay attention to the reviews that truly reflect what you will experience.

Terry recently undertook the task of bringing power from our house to our external office/work space. He also wired it along with the installation of led ceiling lights and a number of sockets and switches. He also installed the associated earthing rods. In addition we asked for some help with regard to wiring our internet from the house to the new space. Terry was happy to carry out the additional work. At all times Terry was communicative, tidy and professional in the work he’s carried out for us. We were very happy with the service provided. Would use again and would happily recommend to others.

Terry did some work for us at our holiday cottage. We found him to be very accommodating and trustworthy, which was essential as he needed to be in the house alone. He also identified a fault on the electrical circuit he was originally working on and after being told that to find the fault could take anything from an hour to a day to find, we were worried about the bill we could potentially receive. The bill was very reasonable and this was another demonstration of how fair and trustworthy he is. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

I love The Merkabah Retreat it's my most favourite place. There is much that happens! Blissful Yoga and Gong sessions, Drumming and so much more! If you have never been to the retreat for an event it's a must. It is absolutely beautiful and stunning and Claire weaves in all her magic. It has underfloor heating and lined with crystals and on a leyline.

Spent an amazing weekend at the Merkabah retreat. I Stayed at the farmhouse.. where the facilities were second to none! The surroundings were beautiful, the house itself is stunning, the food! Oh the food! 🥰💕 Claire has an amazing energy and presence that teaches you, cares for you and encourages you all at the same time! If you get the chance to book in for a retreat… you will not be disappointed!! I’m definitely going again!

The Merkabah Retreat is a phenomenal and beautifully created place. Words simply can't describe the magic that happens there and the like-minded souls that gather in the tranquil countryside to share the magic of yoga, gongs, healing, fire pits, drumming and singing. Clare and Matt are very special people and incredibly talented in everything they envision and create and the healing and happiness they bring to so many. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I wouldn’t class myself as a particularly spiritual person but I genuinely really enjoyed it! We had such a wholesome, relaxing day, and the perfect opportunity for self-care. Claire was absolutely lovely—she made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease from the moment we arrived. The location was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, saunas and I absolutely loved the gong bath! Whether you’re spiritual or not, this retreat is a fantastic way to step back from the busyness of life. It’s perfect for special occasions like birthdays or bridal retreats. I’d definitely go back. Highly recommend it!

I was surprised with a bridal retreat at this most beautiful special spiritual place. Claire provided some much needed womb blessing and an incredible going bath experience in the pool. We also had wonderful reiki massages (maybe Claire can provide the details of this talented woman). We got to use the 2 saunas, swimming pool and hot tub! What a perfect bridal shower with my friends. I would love to return to this special place for more gentle healing. Thank you Claire and co!

Great little place hidden away up a walkway, had a lovely breakfast and sat outside. Didn't need to book even for a Saturday morning, with quick service and lovely staff. Dog friendly and only a few tables but a great selection of foods and drinks to choose from. Will defiantly be going back!

I still think about the sourdough sandwich I had here! It was AMAZING! SO delicious. The sourdough they use is such high quality and the girl here was really nice and was happy to take out the mayo and do a tuna/avo sandwich for me. My mum had the cake which she said was great too. Faultless service from John. We wanted an extractor fan installed when we uncovered an old air vent when remodelling the bathroom. John used the vent and gave recommendations for the type of fan and relocated our light switch to include connection to the extractor fan. Clear quote and spec. of product given and plenty of advice, together with relevant documentation and final invoice for a good price. We have plenty more to do in our old house and will not hesitate to use his services again.
