Christian provided a great service. Initially we discussed a number of possible solutions to the problem, ranging from a simple installation on the existing cabling set up, all the way to a 'gold plated/future proof' solution involving uprating the power to the detached garage and installation of a second point in anticipation of purchasing a second EV. He was clear explaining the pros/cons of each solution and on alighting on a course of action, clearly explained each stage as he completed the work. We were very happy with the quality of the work/final installation.

Christian responded to my ask for help quickly and was able to attend next day. He clearly advised his rates before I accepted. We have an old house with very random and complicated circuits but Christian was able to methodically narrow down the breaker issue to a bare wire in a socket and also found and fixed a break in a ring main. We were impressed with his approach, he kept us informed of what and why he was doing what he was doing, and he was polite, friendly and he left the house clean and tidy. Would not hesitate to recommend Wessex Electrics Ltd.

Recommended by a friend and quite the little gem. Food was reasonably priced and the atmosphere is quaint. A nice touch of the hot drinks being served in dainty teacups with saucers. Local artists selling their products and a little antique/collectable room on site. Debs the owner is a busy lady and everything is excellent.

Absolutely love the tea room cafe. Debs is a lovely lady that always puts the customers first. Lovely affordable food and great atmosphere. Not to mention the lovely Tracey that is next door in the pet shop. Very friendly for dogs and their humans. We love going there and it is very affordable. We are always made to feel welcome. Also there are items for sale that are all handmade. Lovely for gifts. Highly recommend.

Terry recently undertook the task of bringing power from our house to our external office/work space. He also wired it along with the installation of led ceiling lights and a number of sockets and switches. He also installed the associated earthing rods. In addition we asked for some help with regard to wiring our internet from the house to the new space. Terry was happy to carry out the additional work. At all times Terry was communicative, tidy and professional in the work he’s carried out for us. We were very happy with the service provided. Would use again and would happily recommend to others.

Having never needed an electrician in Dorset before, Terry was the first and only contact I needed to make. He completed a thorough survey of the work required and subsequently provided a quote which I was more than happy with. I did not feel I had to look elsewhere. Faultless service from John. We wanted an extractor fan installed when we uncovered an old air vent when remodelling the bathroom. John used the vent and gave recommendations for the type of fan and relocated our light switch to include connection to the extractor fan. Clear quote and spec. of product given and plenty of advice, together with relevant documentation and final invoice for a good price. We have plenty more to do in our old house and will not hesitate to use his services again.

John recently did a full rewire at my property where the electrics hadn't been touched since the 1960s. He was always polite, on time, and very neat and tidy. All work was performed to a high standard, and he really took the time to explain everything and suggest useful tips and tricks. We are extremely happy with the work and the little extras that John helped us with. The overall cost was very reasonable for the work that was put in. Highly recommended!

Rob has done a number of awkward works for us over the last year. He's a great communicator, and went above and beyond to create solutions for some tricky issues with our G2 listed property, which others couldn't figure out. He's always on time, cleans up at end of day, professional, and checks with us if he's found a better, or better value, alternative for the work we had in mind. Lovely electricians, managed to squeeze me in last minute after I was let down by another local company. I needed the lights and the extractor fan in my new teeny downstairs toilet to be connected before building regs could be signed off, and it was done the very next day with no fuss. They also added new sockets to my utility room as I couldn't use the washing machine and dishwasher at the same time with the old ones that were already in place, as the lights all tripped. The guys were clean and tidied up after themselves. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again when the next stage of renovations start. Thanks

I still think about the sourdough sandwich I had here! It was AMAZING! SO delicious. The sourdough they use is such high quality and the girl here was really nice and was happy to take out the mayo and do a tuna/avo sandwich for me. My mum had the cake which she said was great too. Best cafe in the town by far!

I’ve been using Unique since 2019 when they fitted my intruder alarm system and was really impressed with their work that they now undertake all my electrical work for my property. I was so impressed with them that I recommended them to both my dad and brother who’ve since had intruder alarms fitted by them! Unique are both professional and friendly whilst offering helpful advice along the way. Using a local company is always my philosophy as you build a relationship with them and they’re always happy to help whenever you need them.
