All the staff were amazing. Food was brilliant and atmosphere was lovely. Coloured lights over the place, nice forestry wall. Italian land marks dotted around the place. Very big menu, lots to chose from.

Great service from charming staff. After I ordered, it turned out my steak had sold out, so they upgraded it for free. Food is five stars when judged in the mid-tier price range. My steak was perfectly cooked, and everything else was decent or very nice. No complaints.

Went for a family meal, there was 11 of us! Great service and the food was delicious the only thing that let it down was they put a 10% service charge on our bill.. I feel this should be optional we would have left a tip anyway as the service was great!

Rating: 4.7 (123) Price Level:

I took my wife here for her 40th birthday last Friday. Our meal was booked for 8pm, we had a friendly greeting at the door and shown to our table. Lovely decor and a very nice atmosphere. My wife ordered a red wine and I ordered the Turkish larger, which was very nice. We're ordered the hot Meze, which was amazing and we loved our main courses. The staff checked if everything was good a couple of times. All in all, we really enjoyed our experience at Rosemary.

We recently celebrated my wife's birthday at Rosemary Wimborne located in the heart of Wimborne Minster and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The ambiance was both elegant and inviting, and the staff were incredibly attentive and professional. Our celebration began with a delightful array of coctails and starters, followed by an exquisite dinner. The menu featured a wide selection of dishes, all prepared with the freshest seasonal ingredients and cooked to perfection. We capped off the night with a wonderful birthday cake, the perfect end to a perfect day. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. I wholeheartedly recommend Rosemary Wimborne for any special occasion; it's a place where everyone is sure to enjoy themselves.

Finally tried out Rosemary in Wimborne. Booked a table for 8pm and was shown to our table promptly on arrival. Decor is nice. Some tables are very close together. The menu is varied, so something for everyone. However with the lighting and gold embossed sections on the menu it was a little hard to read. I ordered a glass Turkish rose wine, which was lovely. Breads and dips arrived at the table and were complimentary (nice touch). We had the mixed meze to start, which was great. Main meals were good size portions and very good. The restaurant was busy, so the noise level was quite high. My only criticism was the attentiveness of staff. Once are food arrived at the table, we were not checked on or asked if we would like more drinks etc for the rest of the evening. Would I go back…yes definitely. Food was great. Go and give it a try.

Greeting by friendly and happy staff, it felt like being welcomed into a family home. Order taken promptly and food served quickly even though it was fairly busy. I had the Chicken Fajita off of the specials menu which was absolutely delicious and a great portion size, it could’ve been a sharer for two. Highly recommend and a big thank you to the team.

Aroma is one of my favourite places for lunch as you are simply spoilt for choice! The menu is plentiful with sandwich choices, paninis, baps as well as having daily specials! On my most recent visit I opted for the Duck Pizza which was incredible! The service is also spectacular, the staff are super helpful and friendly, food & drinks arrived very fast; and staff ensured you always leave with a smile on your face. Overall would strongly recommend Aroma, and the Wimborne branch is equally as great as their others!

We have just enjoyed a fabulous meal with great service. We ordered a taxi as my wife had fractured her ankle recently and the road is a little narrow, so although not a long journey back to Wilksworth farm we wanted to remain safe. Fabulously the owner offered us a lift now that is above and beyond in my book, I wish I had a local pub near me with great food, great people and a sense of community..... booked again for Sunday roast.

Visited with family party of 9 ppl including 1 wheelchair user and 1 infant. Much appreciated that they were able to take our large party booking which was last minute following a family function the day before, especially in the lead up to Xmas on a Saturday. Menu was basic pub grub with plenty enough choice but good quality, hot and food was good. I had chicken curry which was lovely and others enjoyed the lasagna and fish and chips. Portions generous. Service decent and our food came in a timely enough fashion and simultaneously. There was a service charge but would say prices were pretty average and decent enough value for money. Easy to park. My father is a wheelchair user and the ramps, doorways, toilet etc worked well for him despite it being an older building with plenty of character. There were also baby change facilities in the disabled loo.Quite old fashioned decor but kind of part of the charm of a traditional English pub.

We ordered a takeaway from here after visiting for lunch last week (which was great! Fab food and service). Large choice of menus, if you can’t find something you like….id be confused! Ordered the roast pork, my partner had the trio. Wow, so tasty! Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Had to change an option through the phone as I had an allergy and the staff were beyond helpful. Will defo recommend to my friends!

Had a pre-Xmas Sunday get together and the venue and staff were absolutely awesome - would have scored them a 5 but the veg was too sparse on all the roasts (albeit they did bring us more when asked) and what should have been the absolute bomb of a dessert didn’t quite hit the mark as the sauce to melt the rock hard chocolate case hadn’t been heated up. Will definitely return - it’s a fab venue, with fab staff and food 👍👍

Thank you so much for a wonderfully enjoyable family meal today, 5 star in everything! (there were 5 adults and 1 child - we booked a table same day). The food (as per our last visit) was so good and we enjoyed every bite! Please don't ever get rid of the chicken schnitzel with the garlic butter - it was lush! It was a very busy Saturday and there was a very large table seated just down from us - the staff worked so hard and were rushed off their feet but they all remained so friendly and welcoming! There was a bit of a longer wait than usual for the food but this was expected as it is a lovely popular pub on a Saturday. We were happy just chatting and having drinks. One server stood out for us and that was Ellie :) She looked after us so well and couldn't do enough for us! Every meal out with my family is so very special - thank you for being part of it with us :)

The Old Thatch in Stapehill, Wimborne, Dorset, a 17th century pub which sits directly opposite historic Stapehill Abbey has a very warm and welcoming feel to it, from the roaring fireplace to the friendly smiling staff. My wife and I decided to try this place out as we had heard great things, and we were not disappointed. We had not booked, but the staff found us a lovely cosy corner next the fire. The seating was very comfy and I could have stayed all afternoon. The staff was very attentive and a drinks order placed within a few minutes of sitting down. After a quick study of the menu the waitress brought over the drinks order and took our food order. The starter arrived in good time and it tasted fantastic, fresh and full of flavour, once finished the waitress wasted no time in clearing our plates and again the main course arrive shortly after hot and freshly cooked. The mains were perfect, the pie was great and the vegetables cooked to perfection, crisp and full of colour. The deserts followed and again food heaven. So what does this place score for us. Atmosphere, 5 stars Service, 5 stars Food quality, 5 stars Price, 5 Stars

Have had a couple of Saturday evenings at The Old Thatch recently. Lovely food (Venison pie, fish pie and apple & berry crumble with custard), efficient and friendly service and accommodating to a large friendly dog, who was happy to receive gravy bones and a bowl of water. Good beer, including real ale on tap. Busy, but everyone seemed to be having such a good time - so much to recommend and will definitely be back there again soon. Thank you for your hospitality x

Really nice store, we like to look at the Christmas display which just gets better and better each year. Stopped in the cafe/restaurant which had a good selection of light bites, snacks all the way up to a full carvery roast. Food and drink was hot, plentiful, tasty and reasonably priced. Good selection of plants and garden accessories Great place to purchase gifts, books clothing etc, with plenty of ample parking places, disabled spaces too. It does get busy here, which shows it popularity. Go and have a look, you won't be disappointed.

Great place to shop and eat. It’s a garden centre with everything you would expect these days and they do it well. We went in for lunch. There are so many options. From sandwiches and salads to jacket potatoes and soups or even a pizza or carvery! We had Jacket Potatoes with cheese and beans. The member of staff preparing it was extremely helpful and allowed me to have butter added to the jacket before adding the cheese and beans. Side salad with coleslaw accompanied it. It’s a huge portion and tasted great. The atmosphere is nice. It is noisy though so if you don’t like the background noise maybe choose a quiet time. I did drop it down a star due to an employee that was rude but it was busy and maybe I caught them at the wrong time. Definitely worth a trip.
