Lovely birthday visit to The Dew Pond. After a very warm welcome by owners Julie and Keith, we enjoyed drinks outside on the decking, overlooking the garden and surrounding greenery. As usual, also enjoyed some delicious cheese straws while perusing the menu. I went for the cheese soufflé, beef and a very refreshing espresso ice cream - perfect way to finish in the warm weather. Service from Marie and Emma was a particular highlight - considerate and professional but giving enough space to enjoy yourself. Would highly recommend at any time of the year but particularly as we come into the warmer weather, it’s a beautiful place to visit.

I can't recommend All Plumbing Services Ltd Newbury more highly. They installed a very efficient new boiler and water tank for our 7 bedroom house with absolutely no hiccups. It was a big job and one that potentially could have had many issues. They were clean, tidy and incredibly professional. They also liaised with the company that installed the new oil tank to ensure that all of the key requirements were aligned with this part of the project. An absolute pleasure to have them in our home. The difference with All Plumbing Services in comparison to other plumbing services is that they are supported by an incredibly efficient team in the office that expertly field all calls that come in and deal with each one in a superbly professional manner. They ensure that all queries are answered quickly and appointments are scheduled efficiently. You would be mad to use anyone else!

Excellent service from APS Ltd. Clear communication from the offset and nice to speak to human beings rather than queue to speak to a chatbot. Our installer, Daniel, did an excellent job and explained everything in a straightforward manner and cleaned up after himself. This experience reminded me that going local on a friend's recommendation is often the best choice rather than going for one of the "big boys" with a flashy website. Shout out to Tanya too!

My first time using All Plumbing Services and i was impressed from start to finish. Tanya responded almost instantly to my enquiry and organised for my new electric shower to be installed the following week. Steve came to do the work and he has done an excellent job, he's also taken away the old shower, the packaging from the new shower and left the bathroom spotless. A great service all round!

Changed dentists due to relocating to a new area and chose Briars not only from the online reviews but also the appearance of the clinic. From first view to going inside I was taken back by how professional it all looked and felt and the friendliness of the staff was warm and welcoming. I was in for my first consultation before any treatment was undertaken and a big thanks and special mention to Chelsea (Consultation Technician) for not only having a friendly and upbeat manner but explaining everything in such detail and with a calmness that I was instantly at ease and knew I had chosen the right place. For anyone who may be anxious about going to the dentist I can't recommend Briars highly enough.

I’ve previously attended the same dentist for nearly 40 years until they retired so not an easy transition to make. I've used the Briars for years for myself and my three boys and always found everyone to be kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. My middle son, Arthur, who's now 13, has always really disliked his teeth as they are quite small with gaps. Over time our dentist, Afif, made a plan with him to add some composite bonding to his front four teeth. This meant Arthur had minimal intervention and preserved the integrity of his teeth, which was super important to me as he's still only young and growing, but gave Arthur the changes he needed to give him more confidence in his smile. We're completely overjoyed with the result, it's made the world of difference to how Arthur feels about himself and he's really pleased he had it done. The composite bonding was really reasonably priced and gives us the options of doing more as he grows and becomes an adult if we wish. Afif has been great throughout, talking both me and Arthur through his plan so we're both reassured about the process. I also wanted to mention how great Meryl is, she is the hygienist me and my three boys all use. My youngest son is quite nervous about the dentist and finds it tricky but she is so kind and caring with him and taken the time to build up trust over a number of appointments that now he feels a lot easier with her. I'd not hesitate to recommend the Briars to anyone.

I have been attending The Briars Dental Centre for a couple of years and cannot praise their expertise enough. Yesterday Dr. Lilleker prepared a back tooth for a crown. Although the treatment was lengthy, at no time did I feel hurried and had complete confidence in his professionalism, ability and care. Furthermore, the premises are laid out very well. Parking in my experience, has never been a problem, first class cleaners internally cannot be faulted, the reception staff always seem pleased to see patients and listen to them and the external grounds are always tidy. What more could anyone want?

As I got older my teeth changed, became crooked and the old composite was worn. I had a gap developing between front teeth that looked like pepper constantly in my teeth. I got 6 month smile braces and new composite. I also got whitener for my teeth. The change is amazing. I get so many complements on my teeth and smile now. Well worth the investment in my smile. Straighter teeth will be much healthier. Highly recommend Dr Charl.

I actually can't believe these are my teeth!!! So after about 4 separate consulations at 4 different clinics, I finally found Charl. I knew pretty much straight away that this was going be the man to sort out my super overcrowded teeth. He was the only orthodontist to actually listen to what I wanted. To give you a bit of back story, I had braces as a teen but sadly didn't understand the importance of wearing my retainer not just after having my fixed braces removed but forever. Fast forward to my mid-thirties and my teeth are all over the place, especially my bottom row. The overcrowding was so bad that previous orthodontists had mentioned the likelihood of having to have a tooth removed to create enough space to straighten them up. Obviously that wasn't something I wanted, but I was considering it. Shortly after that covid struck and we were in lockdown, so no orthodontists were open and when they did re-open there was such a huge backlog of patients to attend to that the wait was going to be a few months. That's when a company (I won't mention the name) promising a perfect smile in a min of 4 months popped up with no clinic visits and my impatience and lack of funds drew me in. Needless to say this didn't work out for me because I was terrible at remembering to wear the removable aligners, so out of the 22 hours wear that you are supposed to do, I was maybe managing 14! Back to the drawing board I went, thinking that I was going to be stuck with these teeth that protruded out of mouth every time I spoke, I started to research local clinics that were offering fixed clear braces. I went to a couple of different clinics near by where I live, but they were really trying to push the clear aligners on to me and I knew myself by then and I knew I couldn't be trusted to wear them 24 hours a day and it wasn't what I was asking for. I almost gave up my search until I found the Newbury Smile Studio offering '6 months smiles'. They were about 30 mins away from me but I was determined to see what they had to offer. When I met Charl and his team for the first time, they were so friendly and inviting, I just felt at ease straight away. Charl listened to me as I told him everything I'd been through and what I hoped to achieve and he didn't try to sell anything but what I had asked for. He talked me through the plan, how long it would take, how much it would cost and before I had even left the chair I knew that I wanted to go ahead with the treatment. The first week of having the fixed braces was uncomfortable but tolerable. I had to eat soft foods and learn how to speak again but after that it was a breeze and the time seem to fly by! Now I have the most perfect set of teeth and and I couldn't be happier and if I had to do it all again to get the same result, I'd do it again in a heartbeat! However, I do intend to wear my retainer and take the after care alot more serioulsy this time! Thank you, Charl and Team!

After an unfortunate accident to my front tooth 2 ys ago, I was desperate to find someone who could repair the complex damage, having seen 2 other dentists previously, who had failed to resolve the issues. I found Rob Hannah online, and after an initial consultation & sideways CT scan, he identified the issue with my tooth, and has worked tirelessly to address the issues, restoring my teeth and appearance & subsequently my confidence. His empathy and kindness throughout my treatment has been second to none, and his professional expertise has been excellent and pain free, despite a number of complex operations. A big thank you to Rob and his excellent team, from Wendy on the Isle of Wight (I travel to Southampton to see Rob, he’s absolutely worth it !!).

Looking forward to seeing a dentist isn't my usual feeling but going to Hampshire Dentist is a very different experience. Firstly the reception team are friendly and efficient putting everyone at ease. My treatment was painfree and I also learned a lot from Dr Rob as he skillfully went about restoring a bridge. His knowledge and state of the art equipment is very impressive. More visits will be needed and I can honestly say I look forward to seeing Dr Rob and his colleagues again.

This dental practice is simply the best. I hadn't been to the dentist for far too long and on recommendation made an appointment. From walking in the door the staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and made me feel very comfortable. It can be embarrassing and intimidating to visit a dentist if you haven't been for a while, but not with this practice. Their advice is thorough and and the work I have had is exceptional. I would particularly like to thank my dentist Dr Angali who is so passionate, devoted and meticulous about her work and Grace who is such a lovely lady and so very knowledgeable, helpful and empathetic. However all the staff at this practice deserve 5 stars. I actually really enjoy an appointment at the dentist now! Thank you Olive Tree.

From walking in to leaving, a really great experience! We arrived and had our coats taken by the lovely front desk lady. Once at our table we went relaxed after a walk and took in the surroundings. Really well set up, very relaxing ambience and loads of staff which is so important for this standard. Great food, starters, mains, puddings. Really good use of local products where possible, great wine choices, impressive all round. I didn't take many pictures as I enjoyed the moment! Oh - the cheese board was delightful! Phenomenal. Picturesque setting, delicious food and impeccable service. Updating seasonal menu items keep you coming back for more. Well deserved Michelin star. The set course menu is amazing value Highlight: The Fillet of beef, girolle mushroom, tomato and sweetcorn salsa, wet garlic, Woodspeen herb crumb red wine jus, summer truffle salad. We came there by chance as we were driving by and it is a very nice place to visit, quite popular by the business of it, the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing with a feel of luxury. The dishes are prepared carefully and served with a spectacle that adds to the experience. The mix of flavours and ingredients enhance the experience. I’ve been using this practice for several years. The receptionists are very friendly, welcoming and efficient. My dentist, Zahra Nadia Javed, is absolutely first class. She always explains with great care the procedure that she considers to be appropriate for me. I often fall asleep in the chair such is her skill and ability to make me feel at ease. I very highly recommend this practice.

I would highly recommend this dental practice! As a nervous patient I was very worried about having emergency treatment, the reception team were very kind and friendly which helped give me some reassurance as soon as I entered the building. Zahra and Cristina were amazing!!! Zahra was very helpful, patient and highly professional - she explained what was wrong with my tooth and discussed the treatment procedure in detail. During the treatment Zahra stopped multiple times to make sure that I was feeling ok and kept me informed of exactly what she was doing. Cristina was also very friendly and helpful especially when my treatment procedure ended up running into lunch time The service was excellent and I would 100% recommend this practice!

Excellent care as always at Oaktree Dental Practice. Claire is a fabulous hygienist. She is very patient and always takes the time to explain how I can better improve my oral health. Would strongly recommend Oaktree Dental Practice in Newbury.
