I was there for the first time today. We bought a house nearby and I decided to look around the area. I had a vegetarian breakfast which was amazing and very fresh. I didn't notice that you can only pay in cash, but the lady behind the counter said I could withdraw cash from a nearby ATM and pay later. I was surprised by the warmth and trust. There aren't many places like that anymore.

My wife went for the fried breakfast & I decided upon the eggs Benedict. Great, good value food, fantastic friendly service. Would certainly recommend this to anyone who happens to be in the area 👍🏼

Food - lunch specials traditional roasted turkey and eggs royale were GREAT, very satisfying! Very friendly cafe and I like the neighbourhood atmosphere very much. Definitely returning!

Good old fashioned cafe where the prices are great and the food phenomenal. Greeted with a warm smile, and they make you feel at home. If you want a comfortable stop that will leave your wallet, happy this is it.

Yes I’m one of those people who can spend a long time searching for a dentist who “understands me” and I don’t continue to fear on every visit. Having just moved back from overseas I’ve found “the one” and no looking back now. 👍 From simple fillings to even helping with snoring 😴 Great dentist, super friendly and reasonable pricing. I moved to the area recently and found myself in need of urgent help having split a tooth. I couldn't have been happier with the whole team at Dovecote. They were helpful, sympathetic and Joe the Dentist took the time to explain to me what was needed and why. It takes a lot for me to go out of my way and leave a review, but with Dovecote I am happy to make an exception. They have been brilliant.

Absolutely amazing dental practice. My Son has been in terrible tooth pain and they tried everything they could to try remove the tooth but unfortunately as he’s so young (5) he couldn’t sit still. They really tried with our little one and had so much patience. Thank you for all your help! It really means the world to us.

My husband and I were recommended by a friend to Joe as I had mentioned we had not been to a dentist since covid and that we were both guarded about going due to bad experience with dentists in the past. We live in Marchwood which is not an issue as we had travelled further a field in order to find a dentist that would be an experience not to dread. I can honestly say from the reception and all the treatment that we received from start to finish was fantastic. I had to have 3 fillings a root canal and normally would have been terrified I can honestly say I won’t ever dread my appointment’s again. Joe is amazing he put right all of the work I’d previously had without undermining the awful work that I had previously had and ensured everything was just right and affordable. My husband who I thought would need more work done than myself didn’t was so impressed as Joe unlike other dentist explained options with an existing army filling rather than making more money at our expense. Both of us also had a visit to the hygienist who was unbelievably thorough. I can not believe I am writing a review about a dentist as all my life and at 55 years of age have been so frightened this has all changed hand on heart Joe and his team are amazing.

I was registered with a different private practice but they were unable to fit me in until 2 months time - so I called Dovecote on the off chance that they may have an emergency appointment available and they were able to fit me in within the hour. Absolutely fantastic service - all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Joe and the RDN had such a lovely cheery disposition which really put me at ease. I was so impressed that I’ve decided to remain a patient there permanently and for once I don’t dread having to go back for the second part of my treatment! Thank you all so much.

I would highly recommend Young Electrical. He was always on time and very helpfull. We thought we needed a whole re wire for our bungalow but when Ash came and checked everything he said of course he would do that if we wanted it, but didn't feel we needed one!! Very refreshing to find someone who is not there just for making money. We will definitely be using him again and recommending him to our friends and family.

All the work was completed to a very high standard. Some of the carpets needed to be lifted to do the wiring under the floor boards. That was all done perfectly the carpet was fitted back and looked exactly how it looked before. Many thanks Pete!

Mr Bailey answered our enquiry promptly and managed to get the required work done in a timely manner. He was extremely professional,worked quickly yet took time to patiently answer any questions we had. His work was of a high standard at an extremely competitive price which hardly varied from the original quote despite us making a few changes on the day. He even left our kitchen cleaner than he found it! Fantastic! Would not hesitate to use him again. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Breakfast, 4 of us popped in without a reservation. A couple of tables were left. Table service was very friendly, the breakfast choices were great. We had a fantastic experience at Harvey’s Café! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, going the extra mile to make our visit special—especially for our daughter. It was the perfect pit stop before heading to Peppa Pig World. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and our food arrived quickly. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touch of colouring pencils and books to keep our little one entertained. A big thank you to the wonderful team for the excellent service, and a special shout-out to Avah for making our visit even more memorable. Highly recommend—thank you for a great experience.

On the road with the kids (16) who played footy locally, a quick google search and Harvey’s appeared to be just 5 minutes away. I am so glad we made the effort, avoiding the “high st. “ chains and enjoyed a truly wonderful experience. The staff were attentive and genuinely happy, it was no bother changing pork products on a breakfast for vegetarian. We had a mix of standard breakfasts and baps and none disappointed. This is the type of cafe that is hard to find and needs support as the UK is a lesser place without them. Absolutely 1at class! 👏

Visited this morning for a team meeting over breakfast and it was delicious! Not greasy at all and really nicely cooked! I had the mushrooms with bacon on toast and my colleagues got the full english and all 3 plates were cleared! Good strong coffee and the staff were lovely! Thank you!

We had a lovely breakfast here! I messaged them via Facebook a week before visiting to check they have gluten free options and they were very responsive. The gluten free menu is good and you can just choose the items you want and they price it accordingly. Coffee was good and service was excellent. Can't wait to go back!

I contacted Chris for a quote to complete a few jobs for me including fitting some new external and internal lights and some new sockets. Chris responded to my communications quickly and provided a really reasonable quote. Chris did an amazing job! We needed some electrical work done for our new extension. He came round to quote, gave a reasonable price and did the job within the timeframe. We asked some extra work due to the plastering being done after his work. He came and did it swiftly. Very pleased that he also issued an electrical certificate. That was very important for Building Control. We are going to use his services again. Highly recommend him! Thank you!

We recently had an electrical survey done by CWP Electrical Ltd. and couldn’t be more impressed with the service. Chris was punctual, professional, and thorough in every aspect of the inspection. He took the time to explain everything in detail and offered valuable insights on potential improvements. We felt confident in his expertise and appreciated the clear, comprehensive report (which included photos) that followed. The entire process was smooth, and we now have a much better understanding of the electrical system in our new house. This is the second time that we have used Chris and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

I called ‘CWP Electrical Ltd’ after another electrician had abandoned a half finished job for me. Chris was amazing and came to my rescue when others ignored my calls. He came to look at the issues within a day and promptly booked me in to find the fault that left me without lighting in some of my rooms. He diligently worked through until he discovered, and then fixed the problem that turned out to be rat gnawed cables in my loft space. He also discovered and made safe live unused cables that a previous owner had left exposed. Chris then repaired the damage to my ceilings that the other electrician had left, when the job had became to difficult for him. I really can’t rate Chris highly enough. He is reasonably priced, communicates well and is very skilled at his trade. I will definitely be using him for all my future electrical work.
