Very clean, very fresh and very quick. Popped in for some breakfast, and was very impressed with how clean it is, how quick my food arrived and how fresh it was. The staff are lovely as well so polite, and couldn't do enough for you. Thank you.

It was perfect. Went there to celebrate mom’s birthday. The afternoon tea was superb… they catered for 20 family and friends. The most perfect setting, beautifully decorated an endless flow of tea, served with a great smile. The selection of sandwiches, cakes and the most scrumptious homemade sausage rolls. The staff were absolutely amazing. A massive “Thank You” to Emily’s Bakehouse. Looking forward to having lunch with you again

Very friendly staff. The food was fresh and tasty. I had the breakfast which was perfectly cooked. I would happily recommend if you are in Sleaford.

First visit to Emily's and a very pleasant one it was. After a warm welcome we decided to go with the Scottish Breakfast, an unusual offering some 240 miles from the border. The black pudding was divine and upon asking about this, the Scottish lady serving us (Emily?) explained that they got it delivered down from Scotland especially. I felt the sausage slice was a little bland, but that's personal taste. A lovely large pot of tea to go with it and very near to perfect. Note from my wife, excellent decaf coffee from beans, not instant, so another big plus.

The gentleman working was on his own but run off his feet with a leaky coffee machine on top of that but he was still friendly , chatty and helpful, the oat chai is delicious and the pain au chocolate was yum

A lovely find on the outskirts of Sleaford. Sat in a little area where dogs are allowed, treats available for them which is lovely. I had a lovely hot chocolate with all the trimmings and a scone. Parking outside, next to the petrol station and spar shop. But what put us off a little was watching staff clean the cabinet, starting from top downwards and spraying with cakes underneath - please change this, the spray will go on the cakes!

A fantastic flat white served by really friendly and welcoming staff. Nice atmosphere and cosy feel to the premises. Great to see it busy on a Saturday. Haven't tried the food yet but we'll be back.

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at The Solo Club for lunch as a family of four, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The décor is stunning—modern yet cozy, with a touch of elegance that makes you feel right at home. The range of choices on the menu is impressive, catering to all tastes with a fantastic variety of dishes that are both creative and delicious. We were all able to find something we loved, and the quality of the food was top-notch. It's clear that the kitchen, and new chef, take great pride in their work. What truly set our experience apart, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. A special mention must go to the new female manager, who went out of her way to ensure our dining experience was perfect. Her attention to detail and genuine care for our comfort was outstanding. We were also particularly impressed by how accommodating The Solo Club was regarding physical disabilities and additional needs. It's rare to find a restaurant that not only understands but also goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is comfortable and well taken care of. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of food and service we received. We left feeling satisfied and looking forward to our next visit. The Solo Club has truly set a new standard for dining, and we can't recommend it highly enough.

We've walked past this place a few times but only ventured in today. Had a lovely late breakfast and the sausages were some of the best I've had. Asked and found out from Wetherill's just round the corner. Had the fire going today which really added to the ambience. Will most definitely go back, maybe for the festive meal next?

Very excellent breakfast had here with group of pals. We arrived just before they were going to stop serving, but they accommodated us without fuss. Food delicious and came out hot and all together. Only downside was a very small cup of tea or coffee, otherwise portion size was good.

Best roast in Sleaford. The meat was exceptional. Beef was pink and melted in the mouth. The belly pork had a gorgeous crispy layer of skin on top. Loads of roasts, massive Yorkshire, delicious gravy and sides of cauliflower cheese and creamed cabbage. It was so, so good!!! Definitely the best roast in Sleaford 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We returned at the weekend to try the lunchtime menu. We ordered the Turkish flatbread. It was really tasty and so reasonably priced! Even the people on the table next to us asked what we had ordered because it looked so good! Thank you again Anatolia, another superb dining experience! We enjoyed a meal with friends this afternoon. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. A great atmosphere too. Thank you, we will be back!

Delicious food, polite servers - what more can you ask for? Our party ordered different meals, and all of them were absolutely excellent. I am vegetarian but there were decent vegetarian options on the menu and I was very happy with my order. We came on a Thursday evening and it wasn't busy at all, there were 2 other tables apart from ours - this was a big positive for me because it added to the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant.

Absolutely delicious food with so much flavour, it completely exceeded our expectations! We had the chicken and lamb and both were cooked to perfection and so tasty. It was presented lovely, piping hot, great portion sizes and really good quality. The staff members were really welcoming and friendly and the food came out in great timing. We were so impressed and it was all for a really reasonable price too! Everything was so enjoyable from the bread to the meat! We will 100% be back to try more!

We had the Eastern Eggs and Corned Beef Hash and both items lovely and a nice change from the normal breakfast items (although these are available also). Best surprise of all, the price. Both both items, two drinks and a side of chips (which really wasn't needed) and still less than £25. Will definitely return.

When you walk through the door, you are met with a sense of incredible calm. The interior is tastefully designed and there is plenty of seating. Service is friendly and efficient and the food is excellent. We had the Thai influenced curry which was subtle and delicious. There was no sense of being hurried. Although I have not attended any of the entertainment evenings I have heard that they are particularly good with quite a variety of different events. Definitely worth the diversion at any time of the day.

Lovely evening with family and friends and my current partner! The service was lovely soon as we walked through the door! We pre booked a table as we no it can get busy especially on a Saturday evening. The service was fantastic and the food was great! Couldn’t fault the staff at all! The venue is always welcoming! We will be definitely be coming again!

This is the most beautiful cafe I’ve ever been in, worth visiting for the glorious architecture alone. Laura and Shona served us, they were very friendly and efficient. It was lovely to sit there admiring the beautiful windows and elegant decor, even the loos were stunning! The cake was pretty good too! We’ll be going there regularly.

Had a trip down with my mum & grandma for a belated birthday shindig. The table service was outstanding, we asked what cakes were available & were given a full list & description before making our choices. Would highly recommend a visit for somewhere local. Prices very reasonable & certainly competitive. Thank you very much for a lovely visit.

Food is always good value pub grub but can be hit and miss. Good drinks are offered also. It is in need of a refurbishment inside. The seating especially looking tired in the bar.

Went for a family meal with a party of 14. Service was really good, bearing in mind the size of our group. It's reasonably priced and a decent menu considering our range of ages, from 6 months to 67 years.

Arrived at Barge and Bottle just as they were finishing serving midday meals today. Was greeted by Sammy who was happy and friendly. She checked that kitchens would still serve us and thankfully for us they were. Sammy then served us with the upmost courtesy and made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant (it was pleasantly busy) The atmosphere was not too loud and everyone appeared happy and relaxed. The food was absolutely delicious with a chicken and beef sizzler ordered and the veggie fajita. Huge portions of excellent quality food. Would highly recommend this eatery and would like to thank Sammy for making us feel so welcome today. The Barge and Bottle should be proud to have you as the face of their business

I've been going here for meals quite a lot recently. It started when my partner went here for a meal with her family when I was in hospital. She was tired from all the running around so her mum took her for lunch. The next day, when she came to visit me at the hospital, she explained how lovely the grilled salmon meal she had was. So when I got home and was feeling better, we went out for some dinner. We've also had a couple of Sunday lunches here. Very recently, I wanted to take her for lunch. The place we so often went to was closed , it was just after New Years, so they were probably having a break. Anyway, we went to The Barge & Bottle, and I ordered a breakfast. My partner didn't really know what she wanted. She had been set on going to the previous place and was looking forward to her meal there. After chatting with a very friendly member of staff, they told her that they would make it for her even though it wasn't actually on the menu. She also explained that everything they cook is fresh food and it would not be a problem. Fifteen or so minutes later, our meals arrived, and my partner couldn't believe how nice they had made it. So that was quite impressive. It was explained to us that in the future, you want something that isn't on the menu ask, and we'll try to accommodate as best as we can. So definitely a ten out of ten for all concerned. Thank you.

Brilliant staff, really helpful and engaging. Management need to seriously consider investing some proper money into this outlet though. Staff are constantly battling with poor infrastructure (heating down at the moment), faulty equipment and the whole place needs a refresh. Similar sized Costa in Bourne recently moved up the High Street to a newly kitted out Costa. Spend some money in Sleaford - similar sized market town with a loyal customer base in a Costa that looks very tired. Thank you to all the staff who do a great job - Management are letting them (and customers) down.

The design of Christmas glass is very beautiful, but also pleasant to the touch. I liked that for the holidays vegetable milk is free (it would be good and still) The workers are friendly and serve fairly quickly. Four stars because in my opinion, the cleaning chapter is still workable. The design of the premises is very simple, and at least one cosmetic repair could be done. The luminaires are not enough for such space. * Can you please add a menu of matcha tee

Came in at the end of the shift for a coffee before a long drive back to Liverpool. The 2 young ladies that served me handled my immaturity well and even offered me some free cake. Brilliant service, definitely be back next time im in the hood.
