The Best Cafes in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom (2025)

Visited last week, was looking to relocate from Kent and had a lovely coffee with my friend. The lady ( manager) who served was super friendly, which was lovely. She was accommodating and gave me some local information, which is very useful. Similar vibe to my own café, here in Kent. Thank you Joe

This is a small cafe with a couple of tables outside on the pavement front and probably about 8 tables inside(these were being cleaned in-between customers visits).There's good choice of drinks along with hot & cold food options on the menu which have very reasonable prices indeed.The staff on duty were very friendly & pleasant during my 1st time visit. Its a bit of a trek to use the toilet facilities as you have to go through the fire exit door at the rear & use a traffic cone to hold the door open so you can return back inside the cafe once you have used the toilet building located outside .

Really nice little cafe. Quiet when we visited. Meal was really nice and and the women serving us were helpful. Glad we stopped by!

faultless. Jasmine, Ben & team always cheery and happy to serve you. very busy coffee shop and can definitely tell why. drinks always made to perfection and a lovely environment just off the avenue to take a pause in your day.

Same standard across the board with Costa. The only down side to this particular venue is the seating. There simply not enough seating for a seaside spot. Third visit here we managed to get a seat. But apart from that it's as good as any other costa

We stopped here for brunch this morning. It was our first time visiting, it's alot bigger inside than it looks from the outside, there's quite a nice variance on the menu. We went with smoothies then iced coffee which wasn't on the menu but the waitress more than happily made for us along side a big breakfast and the the breakfast with waffles which was both well made and tasted great. The service was brilliant will definitely be back again 😀

Really nice cafe especially if you don't fancy hot dogs or sea front fish and chips. Lovely in side friendly smiley staff and a good menu with reasonable prices. Great find would recommend

Absolutely beautiful food! We had the lamb gyros and a pie, cake and coffees. lucy was helping us today, she is very polite, friendly and nothing is too much trouble at all! Marples is such a lovely place, it's in a very good location, right near the beach. We would love to revisit.

Consistently great cafe. There are lots of reasons that Marples has been open for business for so many years, excellent, friendly, quick efficient service from the ladies, menu choices, value of money, delicious food and well made coffee. Coming from Australia where coffee standards are extremely high I am constantly disappointed with cafes in UK but not Marples today. The lady that made it who also took our order did a Melbourne barista worthy job of it. Well done there. We ordered prawn Marie rose sandwich granary bread and Halloumi Avocado Bagel. Both had very high quality tasting produce and the crisp side salad was freshly made and well balanced. We also chose thin fries (one serving is more than enough for two people) and they were super crunchy on the outside with perfectly soft potato centres. A really satisfying lunch in a Cleethorpes cafe sitting in a bright area in a comfy booth with beach and sea glimpses.

Great place in the summer for a cheap day out with the kids. Lots for kids to do and loads of attractions around you too. We always have a nice afternoon unfortunately can be some litter around which is a shame. Last time we went it was the armed forces day.

Went looking for vegan ice-cream, I had the chocolate ice-cream the other vegan options were either lemon or apple sorbet. Although not a big selection the chocolate ice-cream was amazing. Really good quality dark chocolate was used to make it. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Had an espresso too which was also amazing. Everyone else with me enjoyed their treats too.

Lovely place to visit whilst on our holiday. My husband and I had been to the café 10 years ago when our eldest was a baby, Brilliant food then and still is now, we only had milkshake and cappuccino but looking at the food that was being served at other tables, it looked delicious. Our drinks were amazing. On our stroll back to the bus we stopped off to have ice-cream where the parlour was outside. The cone was crunchy and had a lovely taste to it, ice-cream was the creamiest I'd ever tasted. Will be coming back next year.

The staff were lovely and very attentive. I opted for the build your own sundae, which was a real treat. They offered dairy-free ice cream/sorbet options, and the vegan chocolate was particularly delightful. Plus, the view next to the sea made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Lovely spot, not overcrowded, great terrace with the view and table service. Staff very friendly with big smile. Especially young lady on order desk 👏 At the end coffee was tasty and our waffles delicious too so we couldn't fault anything 😁

Thank you to Zach who served us and even sorted out an error before I got to mention it. Just a simple one, a side of bread rather than the bun as requested. Great customer service. Order came out quickly, portion sizes made sure everyone was full. Value for money. Really recommend 👌🏿

Love everything about this little treasure. The staff are lovely and lively. So polite and patient. The food is amazing! So in love with their food. And amazing price too!!

Great food and warm drinks. Only singular complaint is the donuts were reheated, they don't try to hide it, do I will not judge them on that. Seemingly cheaper than the surrounding shops.

I had a bacon and egg cob from here, donuts with Nutella, a cup of tea and a cup of coffee. This cost a modest £10.10 so wasn't too badly priced for the location. The views from here are lovely looking out over the estuary. The staff were very friendly as well.
