Our garden was designed, laid out, and planted by James Dewhurst.
He listened closely to our wishes, came up with design options and costings, and included suggestions based on his considerable experience. His work rate and attention to detail is impressive ( including clearing extensive woody roots by hand as our garden gate was too narrow for machinery). He was happy for us to help with the planting and include seedlings we had grown, which made the end result feel more personal.
We now have a far more interesting garden than we would have come up with ourselves, but which can evolve as we wish within the framework James has given us.
We would recommend his garden design service to anyone
