JB Electrical were recommended to me by a friend. I had an intermittent problem that was very difficult to understand. JB responded immediately and sent a very pleasant electrician the next day. It took several visits and a great deal of patience for him to determine the issues and rectify them. I found their charges to be very reasonable and will not hesitate to use them in future.

I've used JB Electrical Contractors for over 20 years since I bought my current house. They've done everything from installation of new consumer unit, running cabling for electric cooker, upgrading my garage electrics & installing new lights & sockets, running armoured cabling from garage to power summer house, exterior socket installation and security lights, replacement of internal sockets, fitting of bathroom spotlights, fitting kitchen LED undercounter lighting, fitting ceiling and wall lighting . I might have forgotten a few as I've used Jose and his guys so many times over the years! The latest job was 22nd July 2022 where a faulty socket was replaced and new kitchen wall lights were installed.

Without fail the service I've received from Jose and his guys over the years has been consistently excellent. The prices are competitive and quality of the work excellent - never had an issue with any work done. The guys are always polite, respectful of my property, turn up when they say they will and thoroughly clean up after themselves. I'm no electrical expert by any stretch of the imagination and I personally don't touch electrics except for plugging things ...lots of them ... in sockets - I leave that to those who are, but any question I've ever had, no matter how trivial, Jose has taken the time to answer and to fully explain which is much appreciated. His advice over the years has increased my understanding and given me peace of mind.

Great company, I called the number out of hours as I had a partial power cut in my house, unfortunately Jose wasn’t able to come out but did do his best to talk me through what it could be and advised me on things to try to try and fix the problem, didn’t work but I did call him in the morning and he did come out at short notice and did manage to isolate and fix the problem within the first hour, will definitely be using him and recommending him to other people

Everything going smoothly at moment. Arrived on date/time to review the best way to rewire and make safe (the wiring is 100 years old). Have received a competitive quote which we've accepted and confirmed date to start the works. Received an email providing more details regarding days to do complete work, movement of furniture , removal of fragile items , vehicle parking permit registration details. So everything seems well organised and ready to go. Will provide a further update once the work has been completed.

Work has now been completed and Jose & team have done a wonderful job rewiring the house, plug sockets removed and neat plastic coverings on the old holes. We had some surface trunking done because we didn't want the channelling and parquet flooring taken up. My sister was able to still have electricity and stay in the property while the rewiring was completed.
