Honestly one of my favourite places I’ve ever visited. The nature here is beautiful, and I would especially recommend going in the autumn months! The bird sanctuary is fab, and the demonstration was super informative! Would definitely recommend for couples and families, there’s so much for kids to do including themed trails such as Halloween trails! If you’re a nature lover like myself, you’ll never want to leave this place!

Enjoyed the trees in their autumn splendour!! Beautiful clean well maintained grounds & great play area plus halloween trail for kids. The lake & house so picturesque & peaceful - a wonderful place for families to spend time out together. The owls’ display was a great experience loved by adults & children👏The Cafe staff so helpful & delicious food we thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely come back again.

We recently visited for the Halloween Trail and visited the bird of prey and mammal enclosure. Our granddaughter absolutely loved it. Nice food in the restaurant, though it can get really busy. Lots of areas to explore with lots of photo opportunities. Highly recommended.

I have been several.times for Halloween, and now came for Xmas!!! I did expect more of a christmas trail round the arboretum, especially over the bog a little tinsel and a few more lights could be added. But the santa experience was brilliant!!!!
Definitely recommend!
