A lovely find. Reasonably priced, good old fashion Café grub. A decent choice of the standard fare, but can really ‘ring your bell’ with some Scampi, Chilli Con Carne or even a homemade Steak Pie! Bean to Cup coffee option, add a decent Lincolnshire Sausage (30p) to your breakfast and enjoy a proper Butchers sausage. Good banter with the locals, very clean and tidy too.
Classical scholars will tell you that Ambrosia is the food of the gods...its not its the full English breakfast with proper Lincolnshire sausage.This is a great little cafe with a great menu and fantastic food, very clean and very friendly. It's Saturday breakfast with the boys but the lunch options are just as good or just drinks and a light bite even has a vegetarian option definitely coming again 👍
Had breakfast here today, breakfast was excellent value for money, service was good, the place is clean my only gripe was the cuppa, I prefer a different tea, stronger, but that won't put me off going again 😋
Brilliant find on our way North, very friendly staff, good quality freshly cooked food and dog friendly. Prices also good. We will definitely be stopping here on our next trip North. Car park opposite.
I’ve just eaten at the Bus station Cafe and my goodness I was not disappointed! The service was exemplary, felt as warm and friendly as if I was visiting family! The food was delightful and was the best full English (double decker) that I have had in a long long time! I will 100% be coming back here again! Thank you so much! 😊
