This is by far the best cafe in Crayford. . I tried a few Others and this one is the best. The food is always hot, the portions are large. The prices are reasonable And the filter coffee is always made perfectly the way I like it. ( black coffee with a small amount of cold milk!) The owner is always kind & friendly and I highly recommend this cafe. Definitely a 5 star from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I used this cafe a year ago and I was blown away but today on my visit I was not as impressed as I was on my first visit, the owner seems to be using Aldi products, table sources teabags mainly all items are from Aldi. The price has gone up quite substantially and the quality has gone down, I do understand that the price of food has gone through the roof, I have been to many different cafes in my area and at least they are using quality products I know the costs have gone up for them have I understand but they are still using quality products as for Crayside are using Aldi products. Don’t actually believe this is good value for money but they are the most friendly people you ever meet and clean and tidy I would rather pay more for quality products than pay £10 for a rubbish breakfast

Palace Of India

High St, Farningham, Dartford DA4 0DT, UK | Indian Restaurant
P: 01322 863966

Rating: 4.2 (104) Price Level:

First time here. In a new Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant my order is always the same: Lamb Vindaloo + Garlic Naan Chutneys if available. Why? Because it takes some skill to master the traditional dishes, especially the Vindaloo. Made correctly it is a wonderful mixture of spices that combine to 'party in your mouth'. Made badly it is just 'hot' and difficult to enjoy. The Palace Of India excelled here. The lamb was fat free and tender (some restaurants don't bother to trim the meet but here it was lean). The spices were in a good balance. Really enjoyed a curry that was not boosted with salt or sugar which I can't stand (hello London!!) Palace of India passed my Vindaloo test with flying colours! I now trust them with other dishes and look forward to coming again soon. My brother had an interesting dish with citrus fruit in it. Rare to find fresh ingredients these days. The place was small but not cramped, being set in a tiny UK village I get that space is at a high cost locally. We sat by the window for a pleasant view. Toilets are upstairs, if you are disabled this may be an issue but they were clean and well maintained. Parking is fairly easy, we had roadworks blocking the road but you can park nearby if you don't mind a little walk or outside if lucky! Food came fresh, waiters very friendly. IMPORTANT!! For the first time in AGES we had a bill WITHOUT a service charge already added. I LOVE this! I will never leave a tip for places that do that. Palace of India just charged for the food so we rewarded them with a 20% tip. Total meal cost for 2 with tip 50 quid. We shared a starter, had a meal each with one rice, one naan and 2 papadums. The menu is varied and has some original dishes for sure. I would like to try them in the future. I cannot think of any negatives. This review is NOT sponsored I just love a good curry and these guys supplied it. Would I suggest any improvements? Maybe a slightly larger table? If you are in a group you will want to book as the place is on the cosy side. Perfect for a romantic meal for 2 though! Check the photos, food tastes like it looks. I don't give out 5 star reviews willy nilly but nothing was bad here, we had a small meal and everything was good. NB: pix have copyright info on to discourage people 'borrowing' them for free..

As usual MSV provide a decent quality restaurant on site offering a full lunch service at a reasonable price. Really friendly staff and the usual evocative historic picture gallery of past races. Appropriately, given I require a larger race seat, I sat next to a picture of Gerry Marshall while I ate my pie n chips....

Teal CafĂŠ

Teal Cafe, London Rd, Sevenoaks TN15 0RS, UK | Cafe
P: 07306 050555

Rating: 4.4 (753) Price Level:

Having passed here hundreds of times in the car, it was about time I stopped in for a full English. I was pleasantly surprised with how large the cafĂŠ is, and that it was relatively packed too considering it's quite out of the way. The decor is really lovely, and it feels cosy inside, and you can bring dogs inside too. The staff were great, and really friendly. We had the Teal Breakfast with black pudding added on, all the elements of the breakfast were perfectly done to my liking, and the egg yolk was still runny too! Will definitely be back for another fry up at a later date

It's busy so noisy at peak times and the parking spaces are small for modern size cars but ... none of that matters with lovely staff, great coffee, and tasty food. It's not the cheapest cafe but it's cheaper for what you get as it has quality ingredients and quality staff... I was meeting a client as it is a convenient location with parking.... given the service and food etc I'll be meeting clients here again...

I've driven past on a few occasions and have always noted that they seemed to be busy so I finally decided to take the family there for breakfast and I was pleasantly impressed. It's a lovely setting with a really good menu. The service was excellent so I'll definitely be making Teal Cafe a regular visit.

Browns Bluewater

Unit SVL06A The Plaza, Bluewater, Dartford DA9 9SG, UK | Restaurant
P: 01322 422880

Rating: 4.3 (1629) Price Level:

Dined at Browns in Bluewater on Friday evening 24 May 2024. A delightful experience with exquisite food, service and ambience. It was a celebratory meal, 3 of us in the group…. It’s tucked away at the rear of the dining area, however that in a way adds to the ‘feel’ of it. It’s deceptively bigger than we expected and almost zoned… we were seated near the rear, with a patio area adjacent to where we were with doors that can be closed or open depending on the weather… there’s a smoking area too. The style is chic, not too glitzy and yet felt homely. We had a main meal, dessert and a cocktail. Seafood Linguine, Steak and Sweet potato curry with additional prawns. Followed by Rhubarb crumble, Seared Pineapple and a smaller portion of ice cream. A glass of Red wine, an Old Fashioned, an Espresso Martini and a Calypso coffee. There were soft drinks too. We were able to discreetly advise our Waiter that we were celebrating a Birthday and he was kind enough to present a lovely plate… singing ‘Happy Birthday’ quietly too. The facilities are great, clean and tidy. Will definitely be returning for other celebrations.

Two different dishes two different experiences. Frequent browns visitor and its always good grub. Love the decor. Went for the Christmas set menu this time. Starters were great and the pork with sage mash was delicious! However the turkey dinner was horrendous. Microwaved and felt shoved out. They did have a christmas party going on so I don't know if that effected it. Not worth the ÂŁ40 for that quality. Overall still a Browns fan though

Wanted to grab some food before a movie and decided to try Brown’s, 10/10 experience. The menu had amazing variety and the dishes were ended up ordering were better than we could’ve imagine. The duck and plum salad was fantastic, I could’ve eaten a big bowl of it. The scallops in the seafood platter were some of the best cooked I’ve ever had. Our waiter Nefy was incredible attentive and helpful. I would definitely come here again, I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Stopped off here after a day at Eagle Heights on a bank holiday weekend. We got a table for two with ease, happy and attentive staff. They had a wide selection of foods, including pan fried duck, steak and kidney pudding, fish, vegetarian and lots more. We were served promptly and food was hot on arrival, additional sides we had forgotten were delivered quickly without trouble. We had a couple of ciders and two mains all just over ÂŁ40 which is pretty good in today's world for an afternoon out. Excellent country pub find a stone's throw from the river. The car park is just opposite the old English pub across the road.

Recently went for a meal and the quiz night. The ribeye steak and chips were unreal. Gluten Free available and the manager was very educated on cross-contamination. They’ll talk you through different options even if it’s not labelled on the menu so if you’re Coeliac I highly recommend it! Dog friendly too! Quiz night was very well organised and great fun! Will 100% be going back again!
