Unreal experience at Lindy Lou’s!! My first experience with afternoon tea and genuinely couldn’t recommend this place more! 10/10 x

Charming vintage tea shop in an otherwise uninspiring area. Large range of teas and cakes. Also do evening events including comedy. Good stopping off point if you're walking the London Loop section 1. Not open every day so check in advance.

Had an amazing tea here Saturday. The decor is just wonderful, the food is excellent and the service is wonderful. I really can't say enough positive things about this place. I only wish we lived closer!

Lovely experience visiting Lindy Lou today, very unique decor and friendly staff. Made for a different experience rather than your typical afternoon tea. Large selection of teas on offer as well as soft drinks and cocktails. Sandwiches were delicious and the cakes were devilishly good, even purchased a cake jar to take home for my husband. Highly recommend if you are looking for something a bit more fancy and unique but without the price tag

This place is so quaint. Beautiful surroundings, like going back to the fifties. The afternoon tea was delicious and well worth the money. Service was exceptional. My elderly parents had a lovely time and so did we. We were all made to feel very welcome and the pianist was a great addition. Will definitely visit again.

Hi everyone who read this it's been a while since my last review and I have to share my personal opinion about this place nice atmosphere about this turkish restaurant and we was pop in for some food this time order local brew bear and cocktail it was very flavourful cocktail full of flavour. Then we had starters to bunds with some tulled brisket it comes souce on side too bund it was bit green not well cooked would love to get them little bit grilled because it was to rubbery then brisked it was quite salty . Then we got also calamari which it was delicious flavour and well cooked . I have order mixed grill some lamb , chicken and kofta. Lamb chops it was so delicious it will go first well season. Lamb bit it was gooked well meat was tender and delicious well season. Kofta it was little bit over done was to dry and no more juicy . Chicken my favourite meat i have been disappointed most was dry and not tast at all . Turkish orange rice atleast this is what they call i don't remember right name for it but it was delicious but it was to much of them and some salads on side . Plate was looking good looking everything delicious my wife was order chicken shish was disappointed over cooked dry chicken. And for last as always we get some dessert i have order baklava with some ice cream. And my wife get pudding with some oreo and ice cream. Specially i was love her dessert it was delicious . Baklava was little bit to sweet but ice cream reduced sweetness. Also about service for dessert we have to wait about 30 min but for long wait we receive 20% discount which is was accepted . 4 stars only because some food over cooked . Also remember is 12.5% service charge on top of your bill . Would i remember to come here ? Yes I will recommend come to this place try yourself and you will see what you get i will definitely will come back to check second time if I was wrong i will change review next time . Please like if you like my review and follow for mo review. Thanks everyone who is reading this .

A fantastic little pub in the idyllic village of Eynsford. A smallish outdoor area to the right as you approach and a large area to the rear. Inside the pub is split in two along the lines of what I would think would have been the bar and the lounge. The guvnor was wonderful but took his beers very seriously- kept constant eye contact when he asked what we thought of his beers and listened intently to our answers. The inside was lovely and not overdone like many country inns trying to capture the history of the land. The Guinness was absolutely spot on as was the Harvey's Sussex Best and the Landlord. I think I might go back

Recently went for a meal and the quiz night. The ribeye steak and chips were unreal. Gluten Free available and the manager was very educated on cross-contamination. They’ll talk you through different options even if it’s not labelled on the menu so if you’re Coeliac I highly recommend it! Dog friendly too! Quiz night was very well organised and great fun! Will 100% be going back again!

Teal Café

Teal Cafe, London Rd, Sevenoaks TN15 0RS, UK | Cafe

Rating: 4.4 (753) Price Level:

It's busy so noisy at peak times and the parking spaces are small for modern size cars but ... none of that matters with lovely staff, great coffee, and tasty food. It's not the cheapest cafe but it's cheaper for what you get as it has quality ingredients and quality staff... I was meeting a client as it is a convenient location with parking.... given the service and food etc I'll be meeting clients here again...

I've driven past on a few occasions and have always noted that they seemed to be busy so I finally decided to take the family there for breakfast and I was pleasantly impressed. It's a lovely setting with a really good menu. The service was excellent so I'll definitely be making Teal Cafe a regular visit.

Having passed here hundreds of times in the car, it was about time I stopped in for a full English. I was pleasantly surprised with how large the café is, and that it was relatively packed too considering it's quite out of the way. The decor is really lovely, and it feels cosy inside, and you can bring dogs inside too. The staff were great, and really friendly. We had the Teal Breakfast with black pudding added on, all the elements of the breakfast were perfectly done to my liking, and the egg yolk was still runny too! Will definitely be back for another fry up at a later date

First time here. In a new Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant my order is always the same: Lamb Vindaloo + Garlic Naan Chutneys if available. Why? Because it takes some skill to master the traditional dishes, especially the Vindaloo. Made correctly it is a wonderful mixture of spices that combine to 'party in your mouth'. Made badly it is just 'hot' and difficult to enjoy. The Palace Of India excelled here. The lamb was fat free and tender (some restaurants don't bother to trim the meet but here it was lean). The spices were in a good balance. Really enjoyed a curry that was not boosted with salt or sugar which I can't stand (hello London!!) Palace of India passed my Vindaloo test with flying colours! I now trust them with other dishes and look forward to coming again soon. My brother had an interesting dish with citrus fruit in it. Rare to find fresh ingredients these days. The place was small but not cramped, being set in a tiny UK village I get that space is at a high cost locally. We sat by the window for a pleasant view. Toilets are upstairs, if you are disabled this may be an issue but they were clean and well maintained. Parking is fairly easy, we had roadworks blocking the road but you can park nearby if you don't mind a little walk or outside if lucky! Food came fresh, waiters very friendly. IMPORTANT!! For the first time in AGES we had a bill WITHOUT a service charge already added. I LOVE this! I will never leave a tip for places that do that. Palace of India just charged for the food so we rewarded them with a 20% tip. Total meal cost for 2 with tip 50 quid. We shared a starter, had a meal each with one rice, one naan and 2 papadums. The menu is varied and has some original dishes for sure. I would like to try them in the future. I cannot think of any negatives. This review is NOT sponsored I just love a good curry and these guys supplied it. Would I suggest any improvements? Maybe a slightly larger table? If you are in a group you will want to book as the place is on the cosy side. Perfect for a romantic meal for 2 though! Check the photos, food tastes like it looks. I don't give out 5 star reviews willy nilly but nothing was bad here, we had a small meal and everything was good. NB: pix have copyright info on to discourage people 'borrowing' them for free..

Went for a light meal after walking along the river. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. Sandwich options were a bit restricted ( 3 options ), thankfully we all found one we liked. Thought £12 was a bit pricey for a sandwich with fries ( usually pubs serve them in a small ramekin) . But when they brought the food out there was plenty there, a nice big sandwich, a bowl of fries and a decent side salad. The time of day we were there plus the weather meant that it was quiet there , however I'm sure it gets a lot of custom normally. Would recommend to others.

This is the best coffee shop in the area. The baristas here are all friendly and attentive, very skilled in their craft too. I was particularly impressed by Jan’s almond cortado, the foam was soft and the milk was super sweet whilst maintaining a perfect temperature. I would highly recommend this cafe to everyone as it’s very cozy and well worth kicking back in here. Thank you all for the welcoming atmosphere each visit!

Plough Inn Eynsford

Kent, 24 Riverside, Eynsford, Dartford DA4 0AE, UK | Bar
P: 01322 862281

Rating: 4.2 (2593) Price Level:

I attended the Plough Inn Eynsford for the 3 course Christmas meal with a friend and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The only let down was that I was advised by a worker that my chocolate dessert, which was the chocolate bomb would melt once the hot sauce was poured on it. However, this did not happen. Then I was advised by the manager that she shouldn't have told me that as the dessert was never going to melt and instead I was supposed to smash it. However, it was too late by then. Therefore, this was very unfortunate as I wanted to video it. Apart from this misinformation the rest of my Christmas meal and drinks were incredible. Also, my friend and I really appreciated the Christmas card we got from the staff there too. I would love to eat there again and would highly recommend it.
