Christmas day meal with all the family. Food was amazing, possibly the best turkey I have ever eaten. Jackie and her staff worked so hard and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you
After having a terrible experience at The Poachers Pocket, we were dubious to try another Greene King but decided to try The Oak. What a breath of fresh air, the staff are so lovely and very, very attentive. The food was fabulous and well worth the money. They have great offers on as well. There was also a great atmosphere, this is our new place to meet. They are a credit to the Greene King chain. 5🌟 👏
Came here for an evening meal while visiting the area and found good food reasonably priced and served fairly quickly. The atmosphere was a bit too noisy due to it being Friday night and a few groups of drinkers were far too loud.
Good local pub... tv to watch sky sports, outdoor play area and gambling machines. Good food, service and atmosphere, there is live music
This is a pleasant Greene King pub in Walderslade village. Some excellent deals on both food and drink. Good for watching sports with a number of big screen TV's. There's plenty of seating with some more cosy areas as well as tables. If you have kids, there's a large garden with two slides and other playground items. Plenty of tables too. It's nice and warm and everything is clean too including the toilets. There's plenty of free parking. Check out their seniors menu, available Monday to Friday 12 until 5 Two courses for £5.49 and add a third for an extra £1! The atmosphere was friendly when I visited in the afternoon, the staff were pleasant and chatted with me and checked if my food was ok. As if 9/11/24 top of my Greene King pubs nacho league
