Foster's electricians visited to measure up for a lighting plan to replace our old 120 x 60 fluorescent lights with 60 x 60 LED panels. They came back a few days later and fitted them on both floors of the building with minimal mess and disruption. The new lights are cleaner and brighter and we are saving around £150 per month in electricity which means that they will pay for themselves over a few years whilst reducing our carbon usage through using less electricity. I would highly recommend getting RH Foster to swap your lights if you still have the older tube lighting.

We recently renovated our house, and after having a very bad experience with the re-wiring and sockets with another electrician, we got in touch with RH Foster. They did an excellent job indeed. The guy they sent got everything done in less than a week, was very friendly, and made no mess whatsoever. Great experience, and everything is working perfectly now. Would highly recommend them.

R H Foster Electrical: Fantastic service, professional, reliable and efficient. An appointment was arranged to fit around our work commitments. Ian, the electrician sent to our house, turned up when promised, carried out all works with a professional attitude. He is a good, neat and tidy worker and a very pleasant character, a great representative for your business. He was informative and explained the works on completion along with a demonstration on the operation of the fuse box. We will highly recommend your services to others.

This course is easily one of the best in Hampshire its playable all year round due to it having great drainage and being based on chalk. The greens are in prefect condition all year round, much needed development is happening and its making the course stunning to look at aswell as to play. The club is very welcoming and has a very mixed age group with great attention payed to younger players to get them into golf. I also got married at the club and every part of the day was so well organised and put together. Test valley really is a great club.

Good golf course, challenging yet forgiving if you manage the course. Beware the bunkers, lol. Golf buggies available. Book tee time on line and buggy. Discounts on buggies for medical reasons.

Nice course and not outrageously expensive. Greens are pretty consistent although some of the fairways are a bit lumpy and can give some random bounces. That's my excuse anyway.

I recently ran a Mental Health and Small Business - One Day Conference at Test Valley Golf Club and can't truly express how impressed I was with everything from the venue, to the catering, to the level of service. From the moment I enquired, Maria and Molly made me feel welcome and wanted to ensure they could accommodate as much as was feasible to create an event just as I had envisioned. The preparation and support provided was second to none. On the day, the food was excellent, the room was perfectly arranged and no dietary requirements or additional requests were too much trouble. They were so attentive and I can not wait to book our next event with them.

I have played here over the years and recently twice. The staff are all polite, friendly and helpful. I rely on them to pass on my compliments to the kitchen crew for excellent meals, and the greens staff for a well maintained course. Not the cheapest but certainly best value for money on a society day out.

Update to my original review I've left 2 years ago, I have to say it was one of the best decisions of my life to enter this practice. Dr Kalsi is amazing, nothing is impossible when you are his patient. He has done so much work on my teeth and I truly trust him. I've come so far from an extremely nervous patient who only went to the dentist when it was absolutely necessary or too late to someone who is attending all check ups and decided to ask for a cosmetic treatment. I've been explained all my options, experienced a flexible and understanding approach, and ended up with a nice new smile after Dr Kalsi completed my veneers. I'm so grateful for the whole team, Dr Kalsi is a dental artist, Kully always makes me feel at ease and comfortable, she even got me a neck pillow when I had to sit there for hours of treatment and Sarah the receptionist is always so helpful and cheers me up. Over the years they never let me down, always found time for an emergency appointment, made my surgical extraction experience as pleasant as possible, provided medication and all support I needed. They can be very proud of their practice and I can't recommend them enough. Thank you Claremont Dental Surgery! The best dental practice I've ever been! I'm the most nervous patient ever who avoided the dentist for years due to childhood trauma and I wish I would've found Claremont Dental earlier. Dr Kalsi managed to save 2 teeth of mine which been told by another dentist can't be saved and need to be removed. So here I am after some root canal treatment and many hours of work on my teeth, Dr Kalsi perfectly saved them! He really takes his time to make sure he does the best work, explains everything, extremely polite and patient which really helped to fight my anxiety. They also fit me in last minute for emergency appointment and provided antibiotics so quickly when I was in pain and really needed them, never let me down. I'm so grateful to both Dr Kalsi and Kully (I hope I spell your name right) too. If you need a proper trustworthy dentist, this is the best place you can find! :)

I have a phobia of dentists and needles. I have been a patient at Claremont for years and have been looked after by Dr Kalsi since October 2024. I can honestly say he has been fantastic with me and I didn’t even feel a thing during any of the treatments I have received. He put me at ease and is truly the best dentist I have ever had. Today I went for a checkup and was not nervous at all ( first time ever ) and the result was all good. I highly recommend this surgery. Fantastic staff. Thank you for helping me overcome my fear of dentists.

I have been seeing Dr Kalsi for a Number of years and have always found him to be very knowledgeable and takes the trouble to explain what is needed and why. I’m immediately put at ease no matter what the procedure being carried out and would highly recommend him and the practice. Sarah in reception is always very welcoming!

I have been a patient at this excellent practice for many years now and that is entirely down to the wonderful Bobby (Dr Kalsi) and Kully, who always make me feel like a part of their family and put me at ease each and every time. Nothing is too much trouble, they go above and beyond to ensure my comfort, which I am extremely grateful for as I do suffer with anxiety at times. The whole team are totally committed and passionate about their work and I cannot praise them enough, highly recommended by our whole family.

Food at the restaurant was amazing! Service was great, nice and friendly. The food in the shop is overpriced for what it is. Considering it's high-end, you'd expect the products to reflect that. Lots of their products are "ultra processed" - read the labels and you'll see. Shame to see high end products with chemicals in them.

Excellent breakfast. All top quality ingredients, as expected. Cost of drinks were a bit high, we thought. £4.50 for a glass of orange juice. Freshly squeezed and very nice but quickly adds up on the bill. Would highly recommend, though. Would love to visit again and browse the shop, butchers, fish mongers. Shame we are not local

I had breakfast at the farm shop with some friends this morning, and it was such a delightful experience! Now, let’s talk about the food: it was fantastic! Fresh, flavorful, and just what we needed to start the day. We did the wonderfully Knife skills course. Sarah was a great teacher supported by the brilliant team of Sergio and Katie. We got the chance to practise knife skills on lots of different vegetables and fruits as well as some meat as well as getting lots of really helpful shortcuts and tips . As you prepare 4 dishes ( including a desert ) for 2 people and only eat one of them for lunch you are guaranteed to leave with lots of delicious meals. The knowledge I gained is kitchen life changing. Well worth the money.

Great little golf club. It was very wet the day I played (see pic) but once I was out in the course it was clear that the drainage was overly good as I hardly spotted a puddle and play was really good. Except in the bunkers of course, but they were redoing them anyway, probably for this exact reason. Anyway, great facility and will be back. Good selection of beers in the clubhouse and Lasagne was plentiful and spot on after a wettish round of play. Highly recommend 👍

I visited Dentalcare Hook to see the dental surgeon who is there on Wednesdays. I was seen on time, which is always good. She gave me an honest appraisal of my situation and, because it's an impacted wisdom tooth, suggested that hospital treatment would be the best way forward for me. Not the most pleasant news, but I appreciated her honesty. I have been using Dentalcare Hook for years now and, as always, all staff were pleasant and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

I am so glad to have my tooth extraction process done by Dr. Salimi. She is friendly and has such a caring approach, particularly in helping nervousness she makes you feel at ease during procedures. My family and I have been going to this dental practice for over 36 years! The team of dentists, hygienists, nurses and receptionists have all been excellent - utterly professional, hardworking and wholly committed to their patients. Every single one has provided expert care and service. Warm, welcoming, and reassuring, they always listen carefully and explain what the options are and what they are doing. This makes all the difference in building confidence and trust. My kids are now 36 and 34 with perfect teeth, thanks to this dental practice and in particular, Dr. Susan Westhead. She is without doubt a really gifted dentist but at Quaintways, the whole team is dedicated and skilled. They all go the extra mile to help people. To name just a few - dental nurses Lily, Charlotte, Georgia and Hygienists Ruben and previously Belinda have all been so supportive and professional. The receptionists are also excellent - they return calls and always do their best to accommodate appointments and fit people in. They all care about their patients and work as a team. Interestingly, Dr. Harry Bowden, Susan's son, has now joined the practice and is proving to be just as exceptional a dentist as his mother! I recommend this dental surgery without reservation and thank them for everything they have done to safeguard my family's dental health over decades. Truly outstanding service.

I was recommended to this practice by two retired dentist friends, having received poor treatment from my current one. My first visit yesterday was a real revelation! Harry Bowden was everything I had hoped for - friendly, efficient, obviously very competent and confident and incredibly thorough. I have a lot of treatment ahead of me to right past wrongs but I am absolutely certain that, in a few months time, the trauma of enduring the drill and the pliers will have done wonders for my mouth, if not my bank balance! I’ve now had my first two treatments: a lovely lady hygienist who was efficient, friendly and chatty; and a wisdom tooth extraction done by Harry who is a genius - I didn’t know he’d taken it out until he showed the offending tooth to me! Everyone is so calm and friendly - it’s almost a pleasure to visit!

Highly recommend this dental surgery. Admittedly there’s plenty of other places I’d rather visit, but as far as dentists go - they’re brilliant. Friendly, professional, helpful. Lovely little cafe in a small parade of shops. Good transport links and easily accessible. Although it was close to closing time, we offered a full menu to choose from. The owner was very friendly and chatty. My friend and I had jacket potatoes. 1 with cheese, 1 with tuna. A latte and a water. The food was hot and tasty, with a fair price tag. Extremely clean and a really nice atmosphere that promotes good conversation.

We planned our stop here as was 1/2 way to our destination, Weymouth. The reviews are all correct. Gr8 value, nice people working there & coffee & food that was well worth pulling off the well worn track for. We would recommend a visit here if in the vicinity. They even sent me the menus via messenger that I asked for. This made deciding on what to order easy when we got there. Plenty of free parking always available!!

Great golf course and all in good condition. The clubhouse feels fairly new and the food was really good. Our society visited on the hottest day of the year so far, but the course still played well. They missed a trick there by not getting one of their buggies and taking cold drinks out to all who were playing as we were suffering with the heat.

Well Manicured course, challenging! A little oasis has to be seen ( played ) to believe it. Driving range, pro shop, lessons available, food and drinks available, buggy hire. Can be disrupted due to wet weather but course management and improvement programme in place and under repair

Very good staff all round . We play most weeks , great course only snag is the rough (to long & to much ) . The greens are always in great shape , unfortunately I really struggle reading most putts , (but that's my problem) . Would recommend especially if you like a challenge.

Treatment is good. Communication less so. For instance, I'm in the middle of treatment to have a crown fitted. It takes a number of appointments. It would be good to be told at the beginning, "There will be X appointments; the first will do Y and will take Z minutes; the second will do A and will take B minutes, etc." Otherwise when you have to take time off work, you don't know when you'll be back. There can be a big difference between a 10 minute appointment that happens on time and a 30 minute appointment that starts 15 minutes late (as mine did). Yesterday the dentist asked me if I wanted "numbing", but hadn't explained what he was going to do and I had to ask in order to make an informed decision. Also I'd booked for 08:30. They are very good at sending reminders, but when I checked the latest I saw that it was now for 08:40. There had been no direct communication that the time had changed, nor anyone asking whether that was still convenient.
