Lovely cafe centred in Kensington High Street that serves up coffee, tea and an array of pastries and cakes. I was lucky enough to be there in the morning to catch their free samples of cake that they were giving out. They were kind and generous in allowing me to take two. Coffee was good and they had a strawberry shortcake and blueberry one. They were really soft and light which took me by surprise. Definitely coming back to try their whole slice one day, as well as their other pastries.

My friend and I had afternoon tea at the Paris Baguette in Kensington High Street today. We were pleasantly surprised at both the quality of food and the wonderful attentive staff who couldn’t do enough. Everything was well presented too. We will definitely be returning.

This chain cafe is located at the corner of High Street Kensington, making it very easy to find, just a few minutes from the tube station. I was surprised to discover they have a branch in London, as I visited them during my trip to Korea and enjoyed their delicious cakes! This time, I ordered a Matcha Latte and a chocolate cake, and both were fantastic! The chocolate cake was rich and moist, with a perfect balance of sweetness and a deep chocolate flavor that melted in my mouth. Although the prices are a bit higher than other cafes, I definitely recommend it—it's worth a try!

An absolute gem! Amazing blueberry cake, strawberry cream cake, peach and almond tart, Cortado, and cappuccino! They offer halal dessert and probably sandwiches as well, but i only tried the items I mentioned. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I noticed the hygiene is great there, and high standard work ethics is also obvious. It's almost always packed, and only have high chairs. (I've seen a sign pointing to the door in the back that reads "more seats here," but I haven't checked it)

The food and atmosphere were amazing! Krish was our server and he was attentive and very nice! Actually everyone there greeted us. My friend was gluten free and they had a great menu! We had starters, main course and dessert! You can’t go wrong! Will definitely be back again!

Great sitting outside to have breakfast. They have blankets for you for cold days. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was excellent along with the coffee. I recommend it.

Highly recommend for the fresh cardamom buns and matcha here👌Having lived in Copenhagen, I’ve craved and miss buns from there and this place always hits the spot. It can get incredibly busy and hectic so grabbing a seat is a bit difficult but it is still great to grab for a takeaway and have a walk in Hyde Park.

A wonderful brunch spot! Disha was my waitress and was lovely, and the food was fantastic. The eggs Benedict was delicious, as well as the mint and apple juice. I also got the lemon rosemary cake and it was so delicious. I will definitely be coming back!

Visited London and found Megan’s on the happy cow app. The vegan brunch and vegan pancakes were hands down the nicest I have eaten in the year of being vegan! My husband had sausage and eggs on toast and said was lovey too. Super friendly staff especially disha our server! Very welcoming and well looked after! When back this way we will def call in again

We were drawn in passing by as it looked so cosy and welcoming. Shame only 1 vegan cake and o, only 1 not nut allergy cake... But otherwise service was friendly and welcoming. We'd come back 🤗. More vegan options please. Lovely to see a dog station too BTW

Had my birthday brunch here the other day - the Breakfast for 2 is delicious, and even includes dessert and they have an option to go bottomless. We decided to stay healthy and only go for tea and coffee which meant out total was under £60 per couple. Will go back to try other locations!

The Ivy Kensington Brasserie

The Ivy’s £19.17 menu for two courses is an absolute winner. The food always feels value for money and meats and fish are always cooked excellently. Have come to this restaurant multiple times for a variety of different meals (with the 1917, for brunch, dinner, and lunch) with my partner, family, and friends - it’s a winner. You can’t go wrong with the Ivy if you’re looking for a nice meal in a beautiful restaurant with comfortable and spacious seating. The decor is gorgeous and hearkens back to the old society clubs of London. The duck liver parfait is one of my favourite dishes in London (creamy and rich without too much of a gamey flavour) and is very well priced for the amount served.
Rating: 5 / 5
I enjoy eating at different The Ivy franchises. There was a slight issue with my order but this was promptly resolved and a drink was given to me on the house, I had the steak with pepper sauce, fries and a red wine. The minute steak is light and good for not so heavy meals. Great service from the staff all round!

A wonderful lunch at the Ivy Kensington with my mum before we went to the Royal Albert Hall for the Christmas carols. The food was delicious we both had the black cod and service was very good, Pratak took good care of us and was very efficient. Would have liked to have had a table in the main restaurant but it was very busy and we were sat at the section at the back of the Ivy which was a shame.

Lovely evening with my mum! I wanted to have a great British classic dish so my mum and I decided to go for the traditional Fish & Chips. It was beyond tasty and delicious! A generous portion with an amazing crisp coating. The chips were perfect! The tartar sauce was outstanding! I really liked the way in which the lemon 🍋 was given, with a net so to avoid the seeds to fall in the food. Very nice idea 👌as well as amazingly presented! Miranda was our waitress, she was super attentive as well as helpful. She gave her best and genuine advice and she was ready at our attention. She went the extra mile with her smile!

Me and my sister were staying at a hotel in the neighbourhood and found this very cutesy place. We both took a toast (avocado toast and salmon toast). It was very tasty and fresh. The waiter was super kind and witty. Will be back for sure! ☺️

I had an amazing experience at this cozy café. The flat white was perfectly brewed, rich, and creamy, just the way it should be. Paired with a buttery, flaky croissant, it made for a delightful breakfast. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax or get some work done. I’ll definitely be coming back!

A very small and cosy coffee shop with incredibly friendly staff who were very easy to interact with and have conversation which was nice, they were attentive and made sure everything was ok. My husband and I went for filter coffee each which was very good, it had a Smokey sweetness that was unexpected but lovely. I decided to go for ‘The Ultimate Breakfast’, consisting of avocado on toast, fried egg, crisp bacon and Himalayan pink rock salt and my husband had the ‘Blueberry Pancakes’ - all very delicious and made with great quality produce but the portions were rather small and the blueberry pancakes had more banana than blueberry, but tasty all the same. For the portion size the price is rather high so we would happily return for coffee and buy the packets they sell for at home too, which is great, but probably wouldn’t order food again.

Liked this place, was very authentic with a wide offer from good desserts to omelettes, crepes and gallets. Staff is friendly and enjoy each other company too which is nice to see in people working together. We were allowed with the laptops. Tables were not that big to work with a laptop but still good thing there no restriction policy and we could fine sockets. Toilets are clean and well fitted. Many thanks, will be coming more

Escape the city's hustle and bustle at Montparnasse Cafe in London. The cozy ambiance and delightful surroundings create a tranquil atmosphere. The highlight was the heavenly pancakes with blueberries, perfectly fluffy and accompanied by bursts of fruity sweetness. The exceptional black coffee, rich and aromatic, was the ideal start to the day. The attentive and friendly staff provided exceptional service, adding to the overall experience. With its Parisian-inspired decor, Montparnasse Cafe offers a charming and memorable cafe experience. Highly recommended for those seeking a cozy retreat in London.

First time here. Coffee is good. Pan fried salmon is awesome!! Hot chocolate isn't too sweet. The service is neat; they always come round to check on us.

Superb service and customer standards. Enjoyed a tasty burger, home made fries and a lovely Thai red curry. The mocktails were made with the same standards as normal cocktails sans alcohol. Pity I was too full to sample desserts but next time! Well priced too. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our lunch here. Staff were helpful and there was a good choice of food, all of which was very tasty. The place has an interesting casual vibe, which is relaxing, with wooden tables and a buzz of chatter. There is a tree in the centre, which was seasonally decorated, which added to the sense of place. My mushroom soup (soup of the day), came with two pieces of toasted sourdough, and was an excellent soup. My companions were equally happy with their options, the breakfast burrito, fish and chips and a cheese omelette. The bathrooms are downstairs, and I did like the sign on the doors, oddly a lady having to cross her legs.

Overall I had a great experience at this place. I was visiting London from Miami and this was one of the first places where we could have a decent breakfast that wasn’t only pastries and croissants. It was located near our Hotel in Kensington, right in front of the subway station Earl’s Court. The food was good but be prepared if you go on a busy weekend because it gets very crowded and are expected to wait to be seated. We had to wait like 15-20 minutes for a table and in the end, we ended up separating our party in order to eat. The staff were very nice and communicative the whole time. While you wait you can have coffee and pastries if you want.

Lovely lunchtime visit here today - we had a reservation and it was fully booked. Plenty of space inside and a big downstairs area. Very friendly staff, quick service, excellent seafood pasta. We also tried a pizza which was very good, and not too large - just right :) very nice Hugo (spritzer) highly recommended

Amazing food and service! Hugely recommend. My personal favourites are squid ink pasta with king prawn, and tiramisu! Excellent services! On street paid parking available, a little pricey considering the prime location.
Rating: 4 / 5
I recently visited Da Mario, located at 15 Gloucester Road, Kensington, London SW7 4PP, just a short walk from Gloucester Road Tube station. This charming Italian restaurant is known for its traditional dishes and warm atmosphere, though experiences can vary depending on where you’re seated. I had the spaghettini alle vongole (£19.90), which was excellent. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the clams were fresh and flavourful. The light garlic and white wine sauce was well-balanced, showcasing the authenticity of traditional Italian cooking. My friend chose the spaghettini sapore di mare (£19.90), a seafood dish with squid, baby prawns, mussels, octopus, king prawns, and a cherry tomato sauce with a touch of garlic and fresh parsley. It was beautifully prepared with vibrant flavours and fresh ingredients. The dish seemed to be very popular, as we noticed many other diners enjoying it as well. For dessert, we both had the tiramisu (£13.80). It was alcohol-free, light, and airy, with a lovely creamy texture. While delicious, we both agreed it could have used a stronger coffee flavour and more biscuit layers to make it feel more authentic. The service was quick, but we felt somewhat rushed out, which detracted from the relaxed dining experience we were expecting. Additionally, a service charge was added to the bill, which is something to consider. I’d also recommend booking a table on the lower floor, as the street-level dining area felt a bit kitschy and lacked atmosphere. The lower floor is much cosier and ideal for a more enjoyable meal. Overall, despite some minor service and atmosphere issues, the food quality makes Da Mario worth a visit. Be sure to request a table downstairs and savour the authentic Italian flavours this charming Kensington spot has to offer!
