Visited the Tangerine Cafe yesterday for the first time on our way down to West Bay (a short hop). The cafe is a perfect haven of calm with a cosy coffee shop, light and quiet orangery and a beautiful tea garden. There are also books and art work for sale. The food is varied, original and very tasty. We each had something different and really enjoyed the coconut peanut butter French toast and lovely fresh strawberries, Greek salad, scrambled eggs, French toast and bacon. The coffee is very good indeed. Sue, Chris and the team were very welcoming and we will definitely be back soon.

An amazing cafe just off the picturesque Beaminster square! Superb homemade food, good sized portions, and delicious coffee. The hosts are lovely, and this is a must visit cafe if you are in the area!

Fantastic find. Quirky, friendly & good value. Try it! We saw a sign to the Gallery in the market square in Beaminster and I popped down the road for a look as the pub we had intended to visit had just stopped food service. I am so glad we did find the Tangerine Gallery & Cafe. The place is a maze of small individual rooms, so social distancing is no problem. My wife and I chose to eat in the lovely cottage garden. Again, there is a choice of places to sit - we chose the hexagonal summer house. The staff were very friendly and, just as it says on the menu, everything is prepared fresh. The raspberry milk shake was bursting with fresh raspberries. We both chose the pork stir fry (good value at £7.90) and everything tasted crisp and fresh. We liked it so much that we took two slices of their lovely Dorset Apple Cake and Marmalade Bread Pudding away with us. Being a gallery, there were paintings and craft works for sale as well. We chose a new mascot for our caravan. If you are in the area, I really recommend the Tangerine Cafe.

This was a spur of the moment stop to break up a long journey home and we are so glad we did. The cafe itself has been beautifully designed with beautiful garden and interesting local artwork. The menu was fantastic and had specials that changed daily (I loved the bubble and squeak and poached egg) and it was so lovely to be able to see in the kitchen. It also had really good glueten free options. The owners were incredibly friendly and chatty and made us feel really welcome.

Adorable little café with a few vegan option in the small village of Beamister, the café itself is very cozy with different rooms and a lovely garden (it was winter when we visited so we enjoyed the garden from inside), the kitchen is visible so it feels like a family gathering. Service was very attentive and helpful. We had the vegan Sunday roast and the toast with creamed corn, both very good.

We were visiting family and travelled from quite far so we aren't familiar with the area but this place seems like it must be a local gem. The staff were amazing and so friendly, they couldn't be more helpful. The atmosphere was great and the food was so good. The price was so reasonable too for the quality of the food. Would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely visit again when back in the area. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

We visited Beaminster today for the first time. Nice church with a friendly 'Walk in Wednesday' group. Several interesting shops. We looked at several cafes before going into Dexters on the main street just almost opposite to the square. Only small with about 8 tables but with a French bistro look. Very clean. Friendly staff. They are open for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Several people came in to book tables, so it might be worthwhile to do so on the busier days. We both had 'small breakfasts' with a pot of Clipper tea. It was enough for 2 cups each. The breakfast was piping hot and comprised of toast and butter, hash brown, beans, tomato, fried egg, sausage, mushrooms and bacon. All cooked to perfection and well presented. At only £6.50 ea. for the breakfast and £2 ea for the tea, we thought this was good value. Well worth a visit!!

Having never needed an electrician in Dorset before, Terry was the first and only contact I needed to make. He completed a thorough survey of the work required and subsequently provided a quote which I was more than happy with. I did not feel I had to look elsewhere. Terry recently undertook the task of bringing power from our house to our external office/work space. He also wired it along with the installation of led ceiling lights and a number of sockets and switches. He also installed the associated earthing rods. In addition we asked for some help with regard to wiring our internet from the house to the new space. Terry was happy to carry out the additional work. At all times Terry was communicative, tidy and professional in the work he’s carried out for us. We were very happy with the service provided. Would use again and would happily recommend to others.

Terry did some work for us at our holiday cottage. We found him to be very accommodating and trustworthy, which was essential as he needed to be in the house alone. He also identified a fault on the electrical circuit he was originally working on and after being told that to find the fault could take anything from an hour to a day to find, we were worried about the bill we could potentially receive. The bill was very reasonable and this was another demonstration of how fair and trustworthy he is. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

I cannot recommend Chris at Entrust enough. His knowledge is A1. His ideas and designs have the perfect balance to meet practical as well as aesthetic requirements. He is a very friendly and personable chap. He is very aware he is working in your home and we felt very comfortable leaving him to work independently and trusted him with keys to our property. His work standard is A1 as is his efficiency. His pricing matched his quotes and he went above and beyond in every way to make sure we were 100% happy with every aspect of his work. He was very tidy, always using dust sheets and vacuuming up after every visit. You wouldn't have known he'd even been here. We will never use anyone else. Do use Chris, you won't be disappointed.

Very happy with the standard of work Chris carried out. We had a new fuse box put in, sockets installed and a fault with our shower isolator remedied; all done efficiently and very neatly. Chris was professional, honest and got on with the job at hand. Competitively priced and wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use again. Nice one!

We contacted Chris to install electrics and network cabling in our new office unit in Bristol. From the first meeting with Chris, all the way throughout the project, working with Chris was extremely collaborative and professional. Chris completed the work to a great level of quality, and was flexible when we had to make some minor design changes along the way. Tasty coffee beans! Making some wonderful V60 pourover coffee with the Columbian roast. They offer whole bean or ground, with decaf options (bought the sumatra decaf for my parents). The water in this area seems to make a great cup as well.

I recommend the dentist Rishi Naraidoo.. he is a very good dentist.. he really knows what he is doing and the visit with him was a pleasure.. Date of visit 15/11/24.( New patient) I was really very anxious as it was my first time for treatment with a new dentist. I needed not to have had such a sleepless night worrying! I feel very stupid now because I was looked after so well by my fabulous team Dr.Jessica Scott and nurse Ellie. They understood my nervousness and immediately reassured me that I was going to be in safe hands. The treatment I received was quick and completely painless. Ellie was really lovely and kept reassuring me as the treatment progressed which was greatly appreciated. I have to visit again for a couple more longer appointments to prepare to have a gold crown fitting and I promise not to be such a baby next time! Having had such a good experience on my first visit has absolutely reassured me that I’m in very experienced and safe gentle hands. So I’m looking forward to my next appointment! I was delighted with the quality of service provided. James helped connect a new electric towel heater and install an external socket at my home. Great job, very thorough and efficient. You wouldn’t have even known he was here afterwards - super clean and tidy. Would highly recommend and definitely use again for any electrical work!

On a recent trip to Bridport we were introduced to the Green Yard. Great coffee, fabulous food (generous portions) and wonderful friendly service. We went back 3 times! Highly recommended!

Found by chance when perusing the menu of a more expensive establishment. Inside was too busy for nine of us but in the small yet quaint courtyard we managed to shuffle a few tables together to accommodate our needs. The food was delicious and reasonably priced... the pot of tea was enormous and required a strong arm to lift and pour! The staff were very friendly especially one gentleman in particular who instigated much banter. Would definitely visit again... highly recommended.

Just had another fabulous breakfast with my husband. Salmon and scrambled eggs were superb! Staff friendly and welcoming as always, making a point of chatting to every customer...... even the teenage lad serving today. We'll definitely visit again. If you're ever in the vicinity you must give them a try.... but be prepared to wait for a table.

We would highly recommend and am more than satisfied with the services provided by LET Electrical & renewables. Right from the initial introduction to Lewis and his services he was very informative and he patiently listened and answered all questions. Lewis handled all paperwork and assisted with the finance application and kept us updated at every stage of the order and installation. On the day of the installation Lewis and his team were very efficient and patient with us and the dogs! and kept everywhere very tidy as they worked. On finishing took all rubbish and insured that we understood how the solar panels and batteries worked and set us up with the app to view the savings (Which becomes addictive).

Thank you to Lewis and his team for their admirable work installing my solar panels. I was kept updated at all times and Kieran and Marley worked long hours ensuring the work was done to a high spec and as speedily as possible. The scaffolders employed were also superb, A1. Everyone was super-polite and respectful. I'm looking forward to sorting out the final paperwork and going on grid with my mini supply! Lewis carried out my job which was reapplying hall lights back on to walls and replacing face switches for new. He was very punctual, friendly and courteous. When completed the job he ensured everything was tidied and I was happy with the work he had done. I shall use this company again and I highly recommend them.
