Absolutely fantastic vet. We've just moved all 3 cats over from Vets4Pets! Recently had an emergency with our beloved cat at 6PM Mon 9th of Jan. He had been to Vets4Pets on Sunday after feeling very lethargic for a few days and a cut on his head. Vets4Pets said he was fine, said he had a temperature so gave some antibiotics. Couldn't find any other issues. The next day, after work, we came home to blood everywhere and our cat hiding under the bed in pain. We tried to get an appointment at Vets4Pets who said they could see us at 18:20, but we would be unable to get there in time considering it was 18:10 and the drive alone would take 20 minutes. They suggested we call out of hours to get the emergency vet instead - after 7PM. We were distraught and shocked that they couldn't allow an extra 10 minutes for us to drive there considering it was an emergency and instead told us to wait an hour. I then found the number for Orton Vets (who closed at 6PM), called the emergency number and the fantastic vet/owner George immediately answered and met us at his practise within 30 minutes. He checked over our cat, and found a massive wound on his chest that had to be stitched up - something that had been missed by Vets4Pets! The care and attention that George provided was above and beyond - he was so helpful in arranging follow up appointments and advising on insurance claims etc. Meeting the rest of the team the next day was also a lovely experience, the receptionist and nurse were fantastic as well. We have now moved all our cats to OrtonVets - clearly an independent vet cares more about our animals then a big chain like Vets4Pets. Can't thank you enough OrtonVets!

From the moment I arrived at the clinic, the staff were warm and welcoming. They took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel at ease. The veterinarian was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, and their love for animals was evident in every aspect of their work. My cats received the best treatment possible, and the vet was incredibly thorough in their examination and diagnosis. They explained everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions. I felt confident that my cats were in good hands, and their recovery was quick and smooth. What really stood out to me about this vet was their commitment to follow up care. They provided me with detailed instructions on how to care for my cats at home, and they were always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. It was clear that they genuinely cared about my cats' well-being and wanted to ensure their continued health. Overall, I cannot recommend this veterinarian enough. Their expertise, compassion, and commitment to their patients make them one of the best vets in England, in my opinion. If you're looking for a vet who truly cares about your pets, look no further.

Professional team with a lot of empathy. Everyone tried their best to make sure my 7 year old dog can live and stay healthy as long as possible, after he was diagnosed with severe heart condition. In the end - Vet arrived at the Clinic within 15 minutes of my emergency call, despite the night time. Recommending place to everyone, I will keep my next dog here, surely.

We were lucky enough to have Christina examine my parents dog last week and although it wasn’t the outcome we wanted she was amazing throughout. Her care and compassion to the dog and my family were outstanding. She took the time to explain everything clearly so difficult decision were made easier. She truly has found her vocation in life. This vets is so good it made me realise how bad mine is. I will be looking to move when they open their books. Thank you all.

Had to put my baby to sleep today, I can’t thank this veterinary practice enough for the care and empathy they showed. She was petrified of going to the vets, ( always has been) so she was sedated in my vehicle ( She was a van dog and came everywhere with me, so it was her safe space ) to alleviate any distress to her, I have used the practice for many years, I would never use another veterinary practice! Thank you for making a rubbish day as easy as it possibly could be. ❤️

Can't fault this vets. Top class service given to our dog last week. She needed a surgical procedure which isn't a common one. Derrick was brilliant, reassuring and took great care to explain what was involved in the surgery. Aftercare was top notch. I was kept informed by the practice team when I rang to check how our little lady was doing. Keep doing what you're doing you're fab 😁

We have taken our dogs to both the Stamford and Deepings practices for over 20 years, both are extremely professional and well run. From the moment you arrive the receptionists look after you and the vets are really friendly with you and your pets. The helpful advice is not forced on you and you don't feel pressured to make difficult decisions. Out of hours cover is provided and the welfare of your pet is never too much trouble.

I had a bad experience with my previous vet and dog so have always been very wary of vets ever since, but I took my current dog today to Animates Market Deeping and the vet I saw was absolutely brilliant, she did a thorough examination and explained everything clearly and she then went through options that I could take. Not once did I feel she was trying to put me under pressure to make a decision on the spot. Some vets are just there to make money but these guys still have the real care factor, highly recommend them.

I can't thank this team of professionals enough, I needed my lovely dog to have her annual vaccinations and flea and worm treatment and the cost at our previous vets was so much but after speaking to Animates they were able to do this for me using a health care plan which worked for me so I could spread the cost with one monthy payment. The team were so inviting welcoming Poppy my Springer spaniel who is very bouncy and we left so happy all vaccinated. Thank you so much! X

Hampton Vets are absolutely fantastic and I can't recommend them enough. I have been registered with this practice now for 9 years and very impressed with their professionalism and services provided. As a GCCF registered breeder for ragdoll cats I attend the vets on a regular basis with my cats and kittens for them to have their health checks, vaccinations, microchipping,flea and worming treatments etc and I honestly wouldn't chose to go anywhere else. We also have a golden retriever we take too and the staff are absolutely fantastic with him. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming even when they are rushed off their feet. The vets and veterinary nurses are highly experienced, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable and clearly have a passion for animals which comes across and they always give excellent advice and information. The reception staff are absolutely amazing too and so friendly, they really do go above and beyond and are so organised and professional at all times. The practice is always clean and nicely presented with a selection of cat and dog toys, food and accessories etc which can be purchased. I absolutely love the seperate cat waiting area that's set up too in reception, it is a seperate area in the corner away from dogs to lessen any anxiety when they are at the vets with a raised shelf so the cats can be placed up slightly raised which they prefer (whilst in their cat carriers), there is a selection of blankets to place over the cat carriers if wanted to give the cats privacy and to block out any noise as well as feliway spray to make the trip less overwhelming and stessful for the cats. There are lots of good posters up with useful information for new pet owners. I would also highly recommend the pet health club which we use for our all cats and our dog, it is a monthly direct debit which covers flea and worming treatnent, annual vacinations, 6 monthly health checks as well as nail trimmings if this is not something your comfortable to do yourself, I may not have included everything...! They also do send text reminders to remind when flea and worming treatments and vacinations are due which is also really helpful. Massive congratulations to Hampton Vets for providing such a fantastic service to local pet owners in Hampton Peterborough. I'm so grateful for the ongoing services from yourselves towards our dog Hugo, all of our cats and the kittens. Best wishes Vicky - Aristodoll Ragdolls.

The Hampton Veterinary team is an amazing and knowledgeable team. We've have them for the last 3 years while stationed here and they have been so prefessional, caring, and knowledgeable for our cats. We have one senior cat (Gizmo) that they took such great care for. They also found heart issues with our other cat, provided treatment to give us more time with him. The team also helped us immensely with the pet vaccinations before we flew our cats back to the US. Such an amazing team, and we can't reccommend them enough to other visiting forces here. I've been using this Veterinary Centre for many years now. The care that all of my dogs have received over this time has been exemplary. All of the staff are compassionate, and clearly care about your pet and you. My most recent visit was unplanned and a medical emergency. I am so grateful to all who helped and saved my boy's life. Medical attention was very quick, and everything was explained. They clearly have the expertise, experience and equipment to cater for all our needs. Always fantastic and friendly service.

Just have to say how amazing the staff are at this store. Sue the receptionist is lovely person and deserves a mention. As pictured below I have a German Shepherd, unfortunately he is very anxious and nervous. Making him loud and very stressed, she went out of her way to make him as comfortable as possible. We recently moved and made this our new vet and very happy we did. The Veterinarians that have had to examine him have also been very understanding with his behaviours. Lovely staff (especially the ladies taking calls and running the front desk) reasonable prices and always quick to fit in an emergency any time I've had to ask. I've got 5 cats and have used this vets for the past few years and have never had a problem with them or their service. This is louie after his latest trip to vets4pets for a rat bite to the ear/head...he's an old man but won't stop bringing me presents!

Have been going to this branch of V4P with Freddie ( bichepoo) for nearly 10 years. They have never been anything other than professional and reassuring. Every vet Freddie has seen has spent time discussing the problem ( which fortunately isn’t often) and set out a range of options but best of all, they do not over diagnose or oversubscribe.
