Been with this practice since we moved here 24 years ago. Julia who's business this was until she decided to try and semi retire is an absolute dedicated vet through and through. The practice is currently suffering from trying to employ another vet or vets but still gives 100% service. Never had to complain of the service given.

Although this vet surgery did not know me or my little dog, when she died last week my daughter in law brought her here and asked them to cremate her. ( I was too upset to arrange anything and my normal vet was closed) These lovely people could not have been kinder and handled it for me with the utmost sensitivity. I would highly recommend them.

Well what can I say I have used this practice since it opened but in the last year the vets have changed for the better one particular vet berkan really gives a great feel.you get the feeling like he really cares about your animals not just a job he’s great with people to. I would always choose to see him now as I trust him completely with my animals.

The vets here are friendly, caring, and honest. They really look after the animals they treat, more than some other vets I’ve been to. They’re very transparent with pricing and always give you an honest opinion, so you know exactly where you stand. The service is excellent and fairly priced. The clinic could do with a bit of updating inside, but that doesn’t take away from the great care they provide. Thanks to them, my dog is so much better. I’d definitely recommend them—thank you!

The most amazing vets ever. I lost my 2 beloved German shepherds in the space of 4 months, they have been exceptional in their care, and doing everything they could for them. I can’t express the love and dedication the whole team had for my boys. The vet we saw was very friendly and welcoming and had a lovely manner with our dog, Ted. The consultation was for Ted’s annual booster, therefore straightforward, but the vet was attentive and reassuring to him which is exactly what we want. Excellent - thank you.

We had to visit here in the very unfortunate event of our poorly, very elderly dog, our best friend. Ultimately we had to make a very difficult decision in letting him go. I cannot praise all the staff here enough. The care we all received was incredible, down to the very finest detail. Thankyou for making the most hardest time, respectful, peaceful and caring.

I've not had any real dealings with vets for 6 yrs, then my lab needed to be spade. My previous vet did it and although good, not cheap and many issues since. I came to these for a 2nd opinion and I have been blown away by the professionalism, care and to be honest. I couldn't ask for anymore. Fantastic vets.

Cannot praise everyone here enough! Quite literally saved Rue’s life! Following a traumatic experience with the vet I was registered with these guys saw us straight away, treated Rue straight away and the level of compassion and empathy for myself, family and my beautiful cat was exceptional! They were always honest with that the prognosis was poor but worked tirelessly to to overcome all the obstacles Rue’s condition (blocked bladder) presented for the 4 days he spent in their care. They would be getting this glowing review whatever the outcome but I’m elated to say all of their had work paid off and Rue is home, healthy and happy! And I will always be eternally grateful!

Although I had my own vet, and a dog that was Insured, a week before Christmas she got so unwell I had to take her in, treatment consisted of what I could pay for and not what she actually needed!! They wouldn’t even give her antibiotics as I couldn’t pay for them so this amazing vets was found via a million phone calls and emails all over the place, and they found a solution for us, they even took my insurance policy and claimed direct so I didn’t have to find the money first! Something my own vets Wouldn’t do! And the vets are very thorough, it’s all about the well-being of animals and not money. Needless to say this is now my new vets

This isn't the first time I've said this, but the staff on reception really make this vets the best one I've been to. So often I've encounter coldness on a vetinary reception but not here, not only are they warm and friendly, but they're so personalable and easy to talk with. We all have that feeling of wanting to do right by our pets whilst being anxious about the cost of vet fees, and I know we all feel that pressure and doubt whilst a vet tells us everything they're going to do and prescribe that we wonder about the cost and necessity of. But after my appointment the receptionist was so understanding and non-judgemental, she gave me time to think about each item and was forthcoming with individual pricing so that I could pick and choose by priority. She gently upsold me by noting the 10% discount from the pet plan without making me feel pressured. I really hope the staff are treated with the respect and appreciation they deserve because this truly is a make-or-break for which vet service I use.

Such a lovely vets! Unfortunately last year we had to have our kitty cremated as she was hit by a car and they were ever so caring and made me feel at ease 🥺 a few months later and we got two kittens and they have since been vaccinated and checked through this vets as well as been neutered and they kept us updated with everything they were doing! Fantastic surgery. All the staff including the receptionists and the vet were attentive to my needs and they really cared well for my pet. There were no hidden extras in the price either. The vet was excellent explaining everything clearly and giving me options to consider. I am very grateful to this surgery who are 100% better than the previous one I went to. Can't recommend them enough.

Doctor Elena treated my elderly dog for an ear infection. He is quite nervy but she handled him very well, cleaned his ear and then administered a single dise treatment so as to jot have to repeat daily which would stress him. Very caring and kind. Would recommend.

Having only been at the practice for a few months, we feel like we have been part of the Vicarage family for many years. All the staff have been amazing with all our fur babies, from Dog through to Guinea Pig they give the same level of care to each of them. Our dog Maddie is extreme fear aggressive of people she doesn’t know and Jaz has gone above and beyond to get to know Maddie and for the first time I have known Maddie has let her listen to her heart without distress. Thank you for all the support and love you guys have given not only our fur babies but also ourselves, you are all awesome

Ted is registered with Vicarage Vets, and we have always received excellent, kind and compassionate care. But where the team go above and beyond is how they have taken in and cared for the injured wildlife I’ve rescued. I’ve taken in an injured Robin, and a malnourished hedgehog, and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. You can tell that all staff are passionate about what they do, and they love any animal. I have so much respect for their team ethos.

Have been with this practice for about three years. Very relieved that they have not been “swallowed up” by Medivet who seem to have the monopoly in Lincolnshire. I normally see Miguel who is great with my dogs Molly and Toby. Recently, Molly had a huge swelling appear under her jaw on the front of her neck. All the staff were great during this very worrying time. Sam dealt with arranging for Molly to be seen at a practice in Wakefield that had a MRI and CT scanner, Miguel and Anne tended to Molly and the staff are also dealing with my insurance claim. The lump transpired to be an abscess, cause unknown. Very thankful I had insurance with Purely Pets as the bill will be in excess of £5000😩. Good to know you have a great practice in your area.

We visited the out of hours twice over the weekend whilst on holiday when our dog stumbled across a wasps nest and the vets were extremely friendly, caring and quick to see and treat him. We couldn't believe how cheap it was compared to our out of hours vets in Essex where an out of hours consultation fee alone is £150! Two out of hours consultations and medicine at both at Rase were cheaper than this alone! Thank you for taking good care of our dog!

Had to put my beautiful girl to sleep on 17/07/2024. The vet did a really good job and consoling me and walking me through what was going to happen. She let me have as much time as I needed to say my goodbyes. Only issue was I was asked if I would like her paw print and was charged for it. Also didn't realise until I got home that I was never given my change from the receptionist

I am very impressed by this practice. I moved from London and have had several bad experiences with other vets in the area until i found this practice. My dog Carlos was petrified of vets from prior experience and they were patient and so understanding, and have really made a difference to our regular visit to the vets for him and myself. I cannot recommend them enough.
