A drive in our beautiful countryside to find the Rose & Crown which I visited many years ago. Well worth it. Hospitality, wow! We were made so welcome, food choice, quality & representation was exceptional. So friendly & polite. I could go on! Will not leave it so long for another visit. If fact it could become a weekly habit! Thank you to the staff.

I had a bacon and cheese omelet with chips washed down with a coffee. Really good experience. Next time I'm in the area will definitely pop back in.

One of the best places to grab lunch in Gillingham šŸ¤© Guys are always polite and friendly, food is simple but always fresh and tasty. Great choice of things to choose from. The only reason its no 5 stars - they don't take card payments, so always have to rememeber about cash, which is a bit annoying. Recommend to try āœ…

Food was tasty, it was what you would expect from a cafe. I was pleasantly surprised the sausage was like one you would get from a chip shop. The two of us didn't have to wait long for our food to come either. It is also a good price for the amount of food you get

We frequently visit Nutmegs and decided to use them for a surprise 60th birthday party, and weā€™re able to book the whole cafe on a Sunday. We had twelve people, one vegetarian, and had an afternoon tea for the party. Trent and Meghan were easy to book with and a confirmation came through five days before the party. We had a few drop outs before the party (originally booked for 15), and this was easily accommodated. On the day, we were allowed access an hour early for decoration. When the birthday girl arrived, the team quickly sprung into action and we were served tea, coffee, the sandwiches and cakes as well as other soft drinks. As usual, the food was amazing, fresh, and homemade. We also asked for a Victoria sponge cake which was delicious. Our vegetarian friend received their own mini plates and a quiche instead of the incredible sausage rolls. They put on some soft music to complete the intimate atmosphere. We managed to eat what we could and took the rest home. All in all, an amazing experience at a very affordable price. I heartily recommend Nutmegs for breakfast, lunch, or a party.

My daughter wanted Pancakes for breakfast so I said we could go out. We had a look online and found a couple of places nearby, but the picture of the pancakes at Nutmegs won her over. We easily booked a table online and when we arrive it was easy to locate our table with our name on. The staff were friendly and attentive and we were given a menu on a wooden clipboard which along with the atmosphere made the place feel luxury. We ordered pancakes and the halloumi and shrooms. The food was delicious and we stayed for ages chatting and taking our time to enjoy breakfast. It was a really nice way to start the day. We'll be back thank you

Best curry I have had in a very long time, the restaurant was immaculate and our waiter could not do enough, very competitive prices too, you really will not be disappointed

Had a nice meal at Darjeeling heights. Food was consistently good throughout the meal and staff were attentive, friendly and went out of their way to be welcoming to our son. When the food arrives the owner came and checked everything was OK. We ordered lamb rogan josh, chicken tikka masala and chicken dansak, two rice, a roti, naan and bombay potatoes and two starters. We had 6 poppadoms and 3 beers and the bill was Ā£92. This seems higher than usual compares to other local indians. Would I go again? Yes! I think we would do Sundag lunchtimes for the buffet.

The best curry I've had in a very long time. We popped in for the 2 for 25 deal as we'd not been for years. I was honestly blown away by the quality of the food, flavours and freshness of everything. It is now my favourite curry house. I had the Chicken Dansak, and it was the best Dansak I've had at any Indian restaurant ever. It was clear that it was freshly made and had the most sublime flavours. The dish was large in size and had plenty of chicken in this. My wife had the chicken biryani and also enjoyed this immensely. Highly recommended to all, and we will definitely be visiting this restaurant more in the future.

Our first time here for many years. We had a great evening, lovely relaxed atmosphere & fantastic food! The owner had great knowledge of his dishes & even recommended certain pairings that would work best together (these were cheaper than the items we had originally selected so know the advice was genuine). Great selection of different curries & particularly liked the variety of different fish available, we will definitely be booking to go again!

A huge thank you to The Barnyard and their incredible staff for the most perfect wedding day ā™„ļø Thank you for walking me through each step, fluffing my dress, helping me decorate the venue, creating beautiful scenes for our photos, being so incredibly attentive to our needs (even saving a plate each for me and my husband from the bbq!), keeping us informed where needed, making us a beautiful welcome sign on entry, managing our music playlist for our entrance and exits! I could really go on and on. Nothing was a bother, you reassured me, answered all of my questions and helped our day run so smoothly and perfectly. Wow wow wow. I canā€™t put into words how much you guys absolutely took my breath away. Everything was so perfect, and I genuinely could not have asked for more from you all! Belle, beautiful Belle. Nothing was ever too much. No task too big or too small. From calming my nerves to fluffing my train, Belle was there with her shining smile, reassuring me every second of the way. Belle you were nothing short of an angel on my wedding day, what a blessing you are! And Tee, bless her heart! Running back to the dressing room to get my perfume when I was seconds from walking down the aisle as I had completely forgotten to spray it! You absolute angels!!! Nothing I can do will be thanks enough for you guys, from Grace being our port of call when planning, to Kirstie and Jo answering my never-ending questions, to Belle and Tee on the day, walking me into my married life with such elegance! The catering team watching me walk down the aisle and singing to my song (I loved it) and of course providing the most beautiful wedding breakfast that got so many compliments. You all made me feel like I was in some sort of fairytale! If youā€™re not already the proudest people on earth, you absolutely should be because I cannot fault you at all! I feel absolutely blessed with the best šŸ’–

Our guests still havenā€™t stopped talking about how beautiful the venue was and we honestly couldnā€™t have picked a better place! The food was also to die for! Had breakfast here, which was pretty average. Bacon that I got served hasn't seen much heat and was really unappetizing. Cafetiere coffee was under brewed or they just didn't add enough of it. On the upside, the location is beautiful and service was good. Don't think we'll be coming back for breakfast, but might try their lunch at some point.

Riverside Country Park in Rainham, Kent, is a fantastic destination for nature lovers and families alike. Spanning 100 hectares, it offers a diverse range of habitats, including mudflats, salt marshes, ponds, and reed beds. These areas are a haven for wildlife, especially for bird enthusiasts, as the Medway Estuary is internationally recognized for its importance to wintering birds. The park is also a Green Flag Award winner, showcasing its commitment to high-quality maintenance and community involvement. During our visit, one highlight was the well-equipped childrenā€™s play area. My seven-month-old son had his first go on the swings and absolutely loved it! The play area is thoughtfully designed with toddler swings, climbing units, a slide, and other fun equipment suitable for various age groups. The picnic areas nearby make it easy to relax while keeping an eye on the little ones. For those who enjoy active pursuits, the park has scenic walking and cycling trails, including a section of the Sustrans cycle path. Thereā€™s also a cafĆ© on-site for refreshments and well-maintained facilities like toilets and parking. However, do note that parking charges now apply. Whether youā€™re there for the stunning estuary views, wildlife spotting, or family fun, Riverside Country Park is a gem in the Medway area. Itā€™s perfect for creating cherished family memories, just like we did.
