Farrukh was helpful, honest and reactive to help us sort out the loss of power! A surprise Mother’s Day lunch for 4, including one vegetarian. First time visit and what a pleasure it was. We started with cocktails which were divine, followed by cold mezze which were so tasty and attractively plated. The Turkish bread was a delight in itself and a great accompaniment to the mezze. We then had a main course, one of which was a huge lamb shank!! All very tasty. No room for dessert or coffee. The whole experience was made perfect by the friendly staff, who went out of their way to make us comfortable. We will definitely return, Galatea is a little jewel in Rainham . Can’t wait to go back.

We finally get to try this Turkish restaurant on Valentine’s Day! It’s a little cosy restaurant, amazing service, very welcoming smile faces! Great portion size meals, gods was tasty! Thanks again lovely waitress Holly & manager Ali! Maybe the only improvement side salad could be little larger with main meal 🤭very colourful small bowl but wasn’t my kind of salad 🥗 also maybe cocktails prices are too high ! Amazing dishes for sure and we’ll be back again! Best wishes!

Amazing amazing food . Homemade fresh . Quick service. Good timing on the Food. Was busy for a Wednesday night which is a good sign they are doing things right . Cocktails are very good and tasty . 3 courses and sides and 2 drinks each . £120 which was a fair price Loads of food have never been so full up after a meal out. Would 110% recommend and have already.

Went here for my birthday yesterday with some friends and had a lovely time, we had 3 courses and all were good. I had the creamy chicken mushroom for main and it was delicious, good portions sizes and reasonably priced. My friend had the lamb shank it was huge! They even packed up the leftovers for us to take home. Cocktails were great and the staff are lovely. Great service. Would definitely return.

Chris wired in a cooker and some other wiring work for us. He didn't try to oversell, making it clear when something I'd suggested was over the top and where something should be changed for safety reasons. He was also considerate in terms of mask wearing during Covid-19. I am very happy and will be using him again.

I got Chris’s number from my next door neighbour and oh he didn’t disappoint. He popped over for a toilet light that wasn’t working and within 30m, he found the issue, fixed the issue and made recommendations for future which was really great! Great person and definitely recommend anyone to use the service.

Brilliant Service. Completely honest and upfront from the start. First rang Matt about a fuse board tripping. He advised me to check all appliances first rather than paying him to come out. Once I eliminated this he squeezed me in at the end of a day to get it sorted. Despite getting a part that he thought it was, once he saw it was not that he didn't charge me for the part and got it refunded.... He could easily have charged me and not changed it. Matt has a great manner, explained and showed me what he was doing and is reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend him. 👍

I cannot recommend Steve and Switched on Electrical enough. Where most Contractors tell you what you need without taking into account your ideas, we may not know everything but our input is also valuable and Steve took this into account after many bad experiences with other Electricians. It was nice to speak to someone who was so clear and concise and took our needs into account when planning the work moving forward. We knew what we’d be facing everyday, as we’d planned this ‘TOGETHER’ so we could make arrangements. Always tidied up after themselves, ensured our safety at all times and was so polite. I’ll reiterate again, I cannot recommend Steve and Switched On Electrical

We recently had Switched on electrical service come in and do a full rewire on our newly purchased property, As you can imagine we felt slightly overwhelmed with different quotes, but had been recommended to Steve by a family member, and thank god we did. Had a emergency outage yesterday that was affecting our boiler. Called A.A Electricals and Adrian was there within the specified timeframe (hour and a half). I’ve been using H & M for a while now. I feel compelled to review them. The freshness of their fish is second to non! …Not to deflect from their ‘old school service’. Unfortunately we don’t get this sort of service from many businesses anymore. Anyone wanting tasteless fish from supermarkets are missing out!!! I emailed an order & instantly got a reply! My fish was then prepared for collection exactly as I’d asked & perfectly packed in a box. So many different fish to choose from when entering the shop. I always buy more than I thought I needed because of the freshness of the fish. Great fresh samphire to accompany too. Thank you H & M 🤩 🙏 😋 🥰 Smoked haddock tonight with fresh home made parsley sauce, samphire, savoy cabbage & mash. Washed down with a lovely Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 😋 Plus griddled salmon steak, new potatoes, salad with South Korean dressing 🤤 Griddled salmon topped with samphire, with asparagus & runner beans, with mustard & Stilton sauce.

This place is great. For once the supermarkets have done small business (& me) a favour. All the supermarkets seem to be closing their fish counters, so your limited to pre packed old fish! I popped into Hales & More today for 2 sea bass fillets, and was blown away with the selection of fish they had on offer and such friendly service. This will become a weekly stop off point from now on.

Just had a kilo of mussels from Hales and Moore ! Only one broken they were plump and delicious! I have had mussels from elsewhere where I've thrown most away! I can't wait for my oysters Christmas Eve! The fish and seafood from here is fresh and superb. Customer service excellent and if you want to know the best way to cook something they happy to advise. My bank account not happy though !

120th Presentation night At hesketh park bowls club 23rd November 24 From enquiring in mongers to ordering on the phone and collecting. They even offered to carry to the car.
