Well, what to say? We left home at 5am for our 4th trip to the UK. After a bit of a ride we had our breakfast at this wonderful place. This small pitoresque breakfast facility is the hidden GEM near folkstone. This is a place to remember and saved into our "good food list".

We can’t thank Ollie enough for the wonderful service he’s provided. He really listened to us when we were trying to describe what we needed and absolutely delivered 100%. Once installed he fully tested and discovered the 30 year old alternator on our t4 wasn’t pushing out enough power for the installation which included a 230ah lithium ion leisure battery so he called us to discuss options then fixed the issue for us. His attention to detail was fantastic even when cutting out a bespoke bit of timber as an infill alongside the battery. A part which nobody is ever going to be looking at but that’s just the kind of detail we appreciate and would have wanted. Thanks Ollie. We’re currently sat in the van in ramsgate having watched the hazy sunrise through the open sliding door with a cup of tea in hand. Fantastic job. Highly recommend. Many thanks. Dave and Sasha.

Excellent upgrades to solar, battery and WiFi proved by Olie and Hythe Auto Electrics. Olie dealt with some issues with professionalism and kept me up to date with progress. The setup that Olie sorted for us is awesome. Overall, extremely happy with all the work carried out.

James has recently done a full re wire at my property, must say.. top job the wiring layout to all terminals and other components are super neat and tidy. He even cleaned up after himself as he went along. Takes great care in what he does 10/10

We had to replace our old fuse box as it kept tripping 3-4 times per day so we contacted James and he was able to get us a new one fitted within days. He then discovered multiple issues with our homes wiring but he sorted it out and rewired the upstairs for a fair price. He’s done a neat job and was very helpful and explained every part of the job, every step he took to very fine detail. Highly recommend

The best cafe in Hythe in my opinion! I came here for lunch one day and it was so good I went back the next day for breakfast. Food was fully approved of by vegans and omnivores! We tried the bhaji kebabs which was a really generous portion of flatbread, houmous, salad, bhajis and sauces. We also tried the vegan baycon sandwich (with pea puree) and scrambled eggs (with pea puree). For drinks we had the strawberry fizz and berry smoothies. Every meal was good value, well seasoned and delicious, and definitely filling. Staff are very friendly and eager to please 🙂 If I visit Hythe again I'll definitely be back.

Delicious, fresh and healthy food. Root is my favourite place to eat in the area, and you can eat there if dieting without guilt! Every time I visit I thoroughly enjoy the food, the great service and atmosphere.

We have recently carried out a complete renovation of our flat, and Adam and his team at Electrically Sound have been working here for more than two weeks. In that time, they have always been friendly, approachable, and extremely efficient. Adam particularly is quite a rare find; a consummate "problem solver" who really seems to work miracles sometimes, when all had seemed lost! He is also unfailingly polite and cheerful, and he always does what he says he will do. Thoroughly recommended.

Had an emergency call out on a Sunday, no power at all. Adam showed up within half an hour and was done within an hour. He found and fixed the problem quickly, no time wasting, cannot fault the service. Price very good, no rip off. Will definitely use again.

I can not speak more highly of this company and customer service. Everything was conducted with Politeness, Professionalism and Dignity. The electricians name was Adam. What can I say?! The food was exceptional, truly. Every course was packed full of flavour, the staff were really polite and friendly. It was expensive, my partner and I saved up for Christmas, but it was an experience we'll never forget. We went for the 8 course tasting menu, but we also got snacks and bread too, so it was more like 10 courses. We had cocktails/mocktails to accompany and they didn't disappoint either. I really would recommend going. The food for us was 10/10 and well worth the price.

We should celebrate restaurants like this because they are now a rarity. Very intimate setting coupled with very attentive and good service. The food in the kitchen is definitely worthy of a Michelin star, with several standout dishes such as the monkfish with bouillabaisse. If there was one thing to improve- the red wine is served at room temperature rather than 18 degrees. I hope they keep going, there is a lot of talent from this team!

Absolutely brilliant experience at Hide and Fox. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the waitresses were superb. We went for the 8 course taster and there wasn't a single thing on there we didn't like. 100% will be coming back again soon!

We went for the 5 course tasting menu which was fantastic. Flavours, textures all beautifully en pointe and cooked to perfection. One of the best meals I’ve eaten this year (and there’s been a few!) Excellent wine list and the service was perfect too. Despite the distance from London we will absolutely return in the New Year.

The only thing I would say is when it's so hot like it was today we only wanted Orange juice and it was warm. Which spoilt it. When hot please try and make surd got plenty of chilled OJ and others

Popped in here for a meal following a short coastal walk in the sun. We found the restaurant area to be spacious and welcoming. The overall atmosphere was pleasingly calm and the area was very clean. My wife ordered Rainbow Chicken Salad which she said was wonderful. I had the Pork Chop on Wild Garlic Mash with Green Beans. The chop was served with some splendid crackling and was of a healthy size (large), perfect. The veg was well cooked and was nicely presented. I found the cutlery to be very blunt and if you have difficulty with your hands, as my wife does, it would be difficult to navigate such a large portion of meat. I would advise the proprietors to invest in some decent steak knives and forks. That said the meal was lovely as was the service. For desert we had a Sundae. Lovely. I would highly recommend this establishment for couples and families.

Absolutely lovely pub we went to dinner for. Coeliac aware and felt so safe giving my order as someone who works there has a coeliac daughter. I had steak with peppercorn sauce and chips and it was absolutely amazing! Portions are great and service was lovely. Super friendly people there. Had great gluten free options that are different from the normal options. Steak night is 30% off on Thursdays which we were pleasantly surprised to arrive to. Shame we don't live nearby or we'd be back regularly! Thanks so much!

Came here for an early breakfast on a Saturday morning. Good choice of options on the menu and the freshly cooked food was quickly brought out after placing my order. Quality ingredients made it one of the best breakfasts I've had for a while and I found the service to be very friendly and efficient.

A very nice cafe, good service & food. I bought American pancakes with cherries & ice cream (I had the option of choosing whipped cream instead). There were three pancakes in the stack with plenty of cherries. I also bought a lemonade, the total cost was £11.80 which felt fair for the quality & size of the portion.
