Nigel completed a large amount of electrical work for us throughout our property internal and external . His quote was accurate , well explained and contained no hidden charges or sudden added extras , everything was clear from the offset . Nigel worked in an organised and methodical manner , always keeping disruption to a minimum and left the property very clean and tidy . He was punctual , reliable , kept us informed through excellent communication both in person and via emails / phone calls and I would thoroughly recommend him .

Contacted Darren as he’s a GivEnergy fully trained installer. Initial phone consultation was very helpful and Darren had plenty of ideas. Site survey was carried out a few days later with measurements and plenty of ideas for placement of batteries. Darren then sent a fully comprehensive email with various solar and storage options and estimates of annual solar generation and savings. After deciding what options an order was placed for materials. Darren estimated three days to install solar, batteries and also replacing my old EV charger. I couldn’t be more pleased with how everything went, Darren and his team are extremely professional, all the work was completed on time despite horrendous weather and looks really good, and they were so tidy. Darren is one of the nicest guys you could meet and he should be called a Master Electrician and I cannot recommend him highly enough, many thanks Darren.

Darren installed a GIVenergy battery towards the end of July 2024. The installation went smoothly but shortly after it became apparent that there was a problem with theGIVenergy battery. Darren was extremely helpful in liasing with GIVenergy to identify the fault in the battery packs.This led to replacement battery packs from GIV energy which has solved the problems with the system. I can strongly recommend Darren for not only the installation but also the after sales support when it became apparent that the original battery packs supplied by GIVenergy were faulty.

After experiencing problems with a lower molar I have received excellent service from the practice in New Romney to try and rectify the pain. Several appointments to try and retain the tooth were arranged but sadly and finally I had to have it extracted today. The senior partner arranged a special appointment and took the time and trouble to deal with it himself going over the history before the extraction took place. I was very impressed with their professionalism and speed of action and would highly recommend them.

Great practice. The receptionists are always very friendly and chatty and go out of their way to welcome you. The dental practitioner and hygienist are always very friendly and keep me up to date with prices/treatments, and also sympathetic towards me with any dental problems. The surgery is always very clean, with a pleasant and warm atmosphere. Plenty of onscreen information for patients to watch, as well as good products on sale. I wasn’t feeling very well after my treatment on Wednesday after all the anaesthetic and the receptionist was very caring and made sure I was ok before I left.

I’ve had a consistently positive experience at this dental practice. The reception staff are always welcoming and pleasant on arrival, which sets a great tone for the visit. The dentist and dental nurse are both considerate and friendly, making the process much more comfortable. Chris did some work for me with which I was very pleased. As importantly he was calm , pleasant and committed to doing a good job throughout. I would not hesitate in recommending him for any electrical work. Chris then came back and fixed some fire alarms for me and checked some concerns regarding a burglar issue. Again no issue, pleasant punctual and professional and charged fairly . Refreshing to have a person do some work for a fair price in professional manner. Recommended.

Best tasting home cooked food I've ever had at a cafe! The man here cooks everything from fresh, he prepares the, bacon and onion puddings and suet puddings by hand, a long process and secret recipe he tells me, as well as other meals he prepares by hand in advance. Pardon the pun, but the proof is in the pudding (steak n kidney my fave), if you want mass produced tastless food, go to the kebab shop or chippy, if you want good food at a good price and something tasty on your palet, the galley is your watering hole!

Lovely local place with honest friendly people who offer fantastically priced delicious food. My in laws live locally and this is the only place they choose to eat. We get treated every trip. Cottage pie with veg is delicious. Fish n chips are satisfying. Beef lasagna with garlic bread is smaller meal but delicious. 😋

We booked Ian (ETE Electrical) to carry out a survey of our building wiring, as he was from a local business. From quotation to completion of work, the service was first class. Ian attended site when stated, completed the work as agreed and left the premises very clean and tidy. He was professional and trustworthy. He made the whole process very easy to understand and explained what work he was going to carry out for us. We have now arrange for Ian to return every six months to maintain our fire alarm system, which is a comfort to know, as he clearly cares about the service he provides to his customers. We would 100% recommend anyone using ETE for their electrical requirements.

Ian undertook the job of replacing the original wiring in my 1960s rental property. He was helpful, honest and informative from the first consultation, confirming and explaining the necessity of the work due to the poor insulation readings and age of the wiring, advising on the number and appropriate placement of sockets and switches, and highlighting the possible problems and potential extra costs that might occur during the job. He was punctual and easy to communicate with throughout and contacted me immediately to discuss any issues. Ian was fantastic at working round the couple of problems that arose, and was able to find solutions without saddling me with extra costs! When the job was completed he cleared up thoroughly. Ian is always my first port of call for any electrical work I might need. I trust his expertise and honesty and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Italian restaurant, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a charming yet modern feel. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations without being overbearing. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish we tried, from the freshly made pasta to the perfectly seasoned pizza, was bursting with flavour and clearly made with the finest ingredients. From the moment we walked into Ruzzo Italian, the atmosphere was inviting and warm. The service was impeccable, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The menu offered a wide variety of classic Italian dishes, and every bite we had was absolutely delicious. We started with their bruschetta, which was perfectly seasoned, with fresh tomatoes and basil on crispy, toasted bread. For the main course, I had the Fettuccine Alfredo, which was rich and creamy, with just the right balance of flavors. My partner opted for the Lasagna, which was hearty, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. The wine selection was excellent, and the staff were happy to recommend a perfect pairing for our meal. We finished with a delightful Tiramisu for dessert – light, flavorful, and the perfect end to a wonderful meal. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant, making it ideal for both a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends and family. We went with our 4 year old grand daughter and the staff were really engaging with her ! The food was amazing, little one said the spag Bol was better was mine!! She was asked which decoration was her favourite on the Xmas tree and then was given it! She was so pleased and it’s now proudly on her own tree! Will definitely be returning.

Called in here late afternoon on a Sunday. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the level of service they provide is excellent. The pub itself is a very old and picturesque building. Well maintained both outside and in. And in the heart of scenic Romney Marsh. The food was great. I chose the sirloin steak, my partner chose trout. Both dishes were perfectly cooked, and very well presented. And there was oh so much of it! I would recommend paying a visit to The Woolpack Inn, for all the reasons above!
