So pleased that we have found a reliable plumber after moving to Herne, Adam came out a few months ago when we had a problem with the boiler, he then came back and gave the boiler a thorough service at a very reasonable price, today he came to isolate our gas hob ready for it to be replaced by an electric one. Adam has been punctual, efficient, clean and tidy, and very friendly. Would 100% recommend. Thanks Adam from Alan & Sue

Adam has just installed a new radiator for us plus dealt with a leaking joint we had plus a further small one he detected whilst here. He previously installed and regularly services our boiler plus completely refurbished our bathroom. Always does an excellent job and leaves it all clean & tidy. Highly recommend. We now only let Adam carry out any work required to our plumbing & heating system.

I was able to see him within 90 minutes of speaking to the lovely receptionist (sorry I didn’t catch her name). I had my first appointment with Dr. Basanta Shrestha at Sturry Dental Practice on 11th December. Following the extraction of my tooth, Dr. Basanta provided a clear and detailed explanation of my options, including a long-term solution with a dental implant. He was very thorough in addressing my concerns and ensuring I fully understood the process. With Christmas just around the corner, Dr. Basanta thoughtfully suggested a temporary solution using a Maryland bridge. This would restore my smile in time for the festive season—a gesture I greatly appreciated! By 20th December, the Maryland bridge was ready and installed beautifully. It looks amazing and feels like the perfect Christmas present! I couldn’t be happier with the result. A special thanks also to his nurse, Kennis Yuen, who was exceptionally helpful and explained everything in great detail, making the entire experience smooth and comfortable. Thank you so much, Dr. Basanta and your wonderful team, for your outstanding care and service!

Fancy not being able to eat over Christmas - I can think of nothing worse. However, that was the position I was in with a fractured upper rear molar. It happened on Christmas Eve and so I sent an email requesting help not expecting to hear back for a couple of days. I was amazed to get a phone call the next day in the morning and giving me an emergency appointment on the day after Boxing Day - 9:30am. I was treated with such kindness and consideration; I cannot praise the attention that was paid to me enough!!! Thank you so much for making my Christmas! A wonderful Dental Practice that looks after all my family.

I first joined Wye dental surgery to have my teeth straightened and whitened but, in the process, found my top incisor was fractured due to a root canal I'd had many years before. The advice and treatment I received throughout the process of getting my tooth repaired and the root canal redone, and having a crown fitted to look EXACTLY like the other tooth was phenomenal. I can't recommend Wye dental surgery enough. James and Aliz are friendly, patient and understanding and will make you feel at ease whatever treatment you have done. A very professional, yet friendly service.

I had check up on Friday and I was so nervous as got a fear of going to the dentist due to bad experiences. I was seen by dentist Friday and she was amazing patient and so understanding talked me through the whole process even give me soft apple to hold which tells me kindest understanding, all the staff are truly amazing and much care for there patients. Felt very comfortable with the whole checkup, everything was explained to me and advice was given from Dr Maria and Nurse Manuela. There was a bit of confusion with the payments but once that was also sorted out everything was fine.

I am not a fan of going to the dentist (once in 10 years maybe..) but I love the smile centre! I started going here since I got dental insurance with my employer. It's not the closest option to me but the reviews and feedback were that good I wanted to try. My dentist is Ruth and she is amazing! Really calming and chatty throughout the process so I know what is happening and explaining the reasons why. She is super friendly and provides balanced and honest opinions when it comes to treatment choices. I highly recommend the smile centre 👏

These days I would only leave a review if after a few days or so, I am still impressed. So ten days on, here I am, still impressed. I had a molar root canal treament with Aisling Quinn. Aisling is very knowledgeable, thorough and her approach is calm and reassuring. She immediately put me at ease and before I knew it, she was done and my tooth has been very comfortable since. I use The Smile Centre for the dentist, for dental hygiene appointments. I cannot express how good Lindsey Peddle is at her job - I'm a bit of a nervous patient (through no fault of hers) and she is reassuring, kind and explains everything in such an easy to understand manner. I go in nervous, but come out so happy with the result and the exemplary service I get. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to keep their teeth clean and sparkling, she is simply great!

I've been using this practice for well over 10 years and have always been very satisfied with the treatments I have received. All the staff are welcoming, friendly, caring and professional. The dentists are easy to talk to and reassuring when explaining the treatments you need, which they perform quickly and painlessly. The nurses are very sensative and caring and put you at ease during the treatments. As this is a small practice I feel I get a more personalised attention and do not hesitate to recommend them.

Cannot recommend Bridge Dentist practice enough! They are all fantastic! My three children have been here since a very young age. I went for the first time in 8 years recently as was terrified, they were all amazing with me! Everyone is so friendly and patient! I have now been to the dentist for treatment and to the hygienist and feel so much calmer all thanks to the dentist’s and staff on reception just being so great, you can always get an appointment easily, and they are beyond helpful!! The best dentist practice!!

After more than 10 years of experiencing less than professional (but very expensive), care at a succession of private treatment dentists, I have, at last, found one to whom I can entrust the care of my teeth. Mr Maarten Tonsbeek, at the Dental Care Centre in Canterbury, has transformed my teeth, to the extent that people are actually complimenting me on my "nice teeth". Initially, one is greeted at the surgery by the very friendly/nice receptionist, Debbie, who organises appointments in a very efficient manner, and puts patients at ease before treatment. I have now completed a long programme of treatment, during which Maarten has provided the best advice and dental care I've ever experienced. He explains the dental work in detail and the result of the subsequent treatment speaks for itself. Yes, private dental care is expensive, but, if carried out properly, it is something that is an investment in building ones long term well-being and self-confidence. If you want to be able to smile without worrying about unsightly teeth, then don't hesitate to arrange an appointment at the Dental Care Centre.

I have been using this practice since it opened and have had Maarten as my dentist for over 25 years. During this time my treatment has been excellent. He is not only very professional but an exceptional dentist. My teeth have been a challenge from day one due to my previous reluctance to attend however Maarten has changed all that. I’ve been going to Dental Care Centre for 6 years now and Maarten and his team have been fantastic. He has done a lot of work on my teeth and it’s been excellent every time. I have been a patient with the Dental Care Centre for many years and have always found the dental treatment to be of an exemplary standard and the staff to be highly professional and approachable. Lynn on reception is always very helpful and very supportive, especially where patients may be anxious. This is replicated by Marten and his most excellent dental nurse - procedures are clearly explained, methods used very up to date and efficient and when needed patient well being is a priority. Although I would prefer to be an NHS patient I have not attempted to leave this practice as the standard of care, materials used and professional attitudes are well worth the cost! Thankyou to the team!

I was recommended Dental Care Centre and all I can say is, it exceeded my expectations. I am a nervous patient and have been looking for a dentist who I can trust and feel comfortable with and my experience was just that. I’ll start from the beginning when I was greeted by Debbie the receptionist, what a warming, friendly lady who instantly made me feel at ease. Then when it was my time I was greeted by Stephanie (dentist) and Ann (nurse). Both ladies were welcoming, warm and at one point I had forgotten I was at a dental practice. The friendly vibe and atmosphere was exactly what I have been looking for and my whole experience was a pleasure, something I never thought I’d say about a dental visit. I can’t express enough thank you to all three ladies. Anyone looking for an honest, friendly dental practice, this is it.
