The course and greens were in excellent condition but felt design was very boring with no stand out holes and after a while felt very up and down with limited variations. Pro was very friendly and there was no issues with pace of play.

Nice club. Membership requirements you to pay a sign up fee . Which I believe is excessive. The staff keeps it looking nice. Loads of temporary greens and tees in the winter (Like most clubs). staff are nice. Some of the members are not. Hence the 4

Very nice golf course. Well maintained and receptive greens. Open layout of holes and friendly banks either side of the fairways, didn't lose a ball all round.

Love this course. USGA standard tees and greens. Drains really well. Second only to Kings Hill in the area in my opinion. Great range as well all with Top Tracer technology. Nice bar area with Sky Sports. Reasonable cost for round of golf on weekend. Better in the week.
Rating: 5 / 5
Easy to find the club, easy to park, friendly staff, 1st Tee always has someone waiting, sometimes multiple people all waiting to Tee off. Great condition course, easy enough to navigate, plays well.

We played today on a lovely sunny day! The course is in great condition with numerous out of sight greens - causing some confusion for first timers. Conditions were very dry - no mud or water anywhere except for the lake on 18th. I would suggest some more on course signage as we spent 5 mins looking for 18th tee!!! We will be back. Another round a few years later - some of the complexity comes back to youā¦ a great day!

Had our wedding reception here 8th June 2024, the DJ was amazing and Adam and Leigh were very friendly and gave us the best experience, however we did not enjoy the main course and the meat was a little dry and bland, the scenery around the golf course was amazing, Adam even let us drive the golf cart to the lake area so our photographer can take some photos of us 2 we couldnāt of asked for more and the whole day and night was amazing, would highly recommend having a wedding reception here!

Rating: 4.3 (328) Price Level:
Lovely scenic golf course with forgiving fairways, interesting holes and friendly staff. Considering it only reopened 9 weeks ago the greens keeping team have done a fantastic job getting the course back into shape. Greens and fairways are in very good condition for a pay-and-play. Great work.

Sat Nav didn't like the Google address, so found it hard to find the golf club premises. Eventually just went by the road name and found it. Nice easy parking and access to club house, staff very friendly and helpful, course is very wide, lovely scenic course, greens need some tlc and the 18 hole Tee box is the worst I've seen in a long time, other than that course plays really well, will definitely play again.

Went to play the Valley Course on Saturday and saw the Castle Course was available so played it. This course is simply stunning. None of the holes are 'boring' and the vistas going out are jaw dropping. The greens are in really good shape and the front and back nines are like two different courses. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and very friendly staff at the Pro Shop.

Rating: 4.3 (474) Price Level:
We had our 40th wedding anniversary celebration yesterday. Cannot speak highly enough of Chelsfield Lakes if you need a venue. Excellent 3 course lunch for c. 40 people. The staff were superb, efficient, polite and very professional, all overseen by Scott. He could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The meal itself was superb. Tasty, hot, plenty of it and beautifully presented. This included childrenās and vegetarian meals. Room size was perfect, and we were able to add our own personal touches. Overall very reasonably priced as well. Cannot recommend highly enough, you will not be disappointed.

Nice course. Good fairways, with several bunkers and dog legs. Greens in good condition. Quite short, but would love to play it again. Shame it's within the Ulez zone - so, only for that reason, I wont be going back. Well done Khan.......
Rating: 5 / 5
Absolutely stunning course. (18 hole - The lakes). Every hole was kept well, and the greens ran nicely. The bunkers were wet, but that's not unusual, considering it's late October. The driving range has lots of bays with ball tracker and the prices aren't too bad, Ā£3.50 for 25 balls, Ā£6.00 for 50. (These prices are due to change on the 1st Nov 2023). Big shop with plenty of stock for all you golfing needs. The clubhouse has a good sized bar and sitting area and also a function room with seperate bar. There is also a 9 hole course called The Vista. Didn't play this one so can't comment but if it's anything like the 18 hole course I'm sure it won't disappoint.
Rating: 5 / 5
Yet to play the course but a frequent visitor to the driving range and pro shop. The range is excellent (although please Install power tees!) and the pro shop is fantastically well stocked and staffed by a great bunch of guys that are personable, knowledgable and skilled in regripping clubs with snappy turnaround. Management are approachable and on hand. The range serves soft drinks and alcoholic beverages plus there are desks at every driving bay and access to wi-fi. The range has superb, brightly coloured targets to aim for and operates Top Tracer technology. As a member of a neighbouring course without a working range, I am a HUGE advocate of Chelsfield Lakes.

Pleasant little society day, a very nice bacon roll and coffee to start the day and ham egg and chips with a pint when we got back. The weather was really nice, sunny with very little breeze. The course was in a very good condition, greens, fairways and rough. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Most enjoyable.

Given the conditions thought we would try the Nine hole short course. As was expected there were muddy places but generally the fairways were pretty good given that they can't be cut. The great surprise was the greens which had been cut and rolled leaving them very puttable. As always the bar and cafe were available for the post round chat.

By far my favourite course. 4 rounds so far and can't wait to go back. Hole 4 is just awesome! Beware golfers, playing surfaces are hard, be careful on approach or you will bounce out and beyond!
Rating: 4 / 5
Very wide, undulating fairway. Well maintained greens. Need to always watch out for strollers popping out from nowhere. Great atmosphere and nice staff
Rating: 4 / 5
Played the 9 hole today. Course was in fairly good condition considering the recent wet weather. Staff in the pro shop were friendly but we were disappointed the bar was closed at 1.00. Played the round but the toilets were closed on our return to the car park. Also couldn't find facility to clean our shoes or trolleys. However we will definitely not let this put us off playing again. Beautiful scenery too.

Wonderful staff that made our day extra special. They pay attention to detail and are very on board for the whole day and night. Extra touches like caring for and bringing out the gifts for key guests and making sure the bride and groom were well attended made for a perfect experience. They certainly went over and above for us and are well versed in making sure weddings run smoothly. We returned a few weeks later for lunch just to be in that lovely space around kind and attentive staff.

As a photographer, I couldn't have asked for a better setting to capture unforgettable moments. The picturesque surroundings, exquisite dƩcor, and warm ambiance provided endless opportunities for breathtaking photos. The rooms were beautifully lit and had natural light shining through. From intimate portraits to candid shots of joyous celebrations, every frame reflected the love and happiness shared by the newlyweds and their guests. I am grateful to The Darenth staff for their professionalism and hospitality, making it a seamless experience to document such a special day.

What an amazing place for a wedding. It was beautifully decorated. Staff were amazing, nothing was to much trouble. A massive thank you to Jason, Sarah, Kirsty and the team for making my daughters day so special for her and her husband. I would 1000% recommend this venue to any new couples about to tie the knot. Thank you from the MoB x

Held a Society day here yesterday. What a warm welcome. Fantastic staff and so helpful. Loved that the Chef came out to specifically check what we needed and when and the welcome notice to our group on the coffee table.. Beautiful course and in great condition. Brilliant communication with Mike regarding our ever changing booking and very accommodating. Just an all round wonderful venue. Thanks for a great day.

Came here on Friday the 22nd. Course was in excellent condition despite the freezing temperatures, the front 9 greens were frozen but back 9 was fine. The Fairways were in great condition and ground staff were doing their best to keep leaves tidied up. Food and drink in the players lounge was also welcoming and tasty.

Outstanding & challenging course - you have to be accurate and a competent low/mid-handicapper to play well around here. Fairways are tight with lots of trees. Greens were immaculate, however some of the hardest I've played recently. I can see why it's the flagship course from Get Golfing - great job guys!

Held our daughters 21st here. It was a fantastic night. All the staff were fabulous, from the girls organising, the security and all the front of house guys. They couldnāt be more helpful. The bar was really busy and H, Darren and the staff coped brilliantly. We have had so many comments that is was a brilliant party. Would definitely recommend holding a party here.

Rating: 4.3 (862) Price Level:
We went to Birchwood Park to attend a celebration of a beautiful life cut sorrowfully short, and not to play golf. That said, we were greeted by beautiful and immaculately kept grounds that were being used by plenty of golfers engaged in their sport. The views were nothing short of stunning, the atmosphere serene. The room we were in was spacious and light with a sheltered balcony and easy access to bathroom facilities. All guests were made to feel very welcome by all members of Birchwood Park's staff from serving staff to the bar manager: I felt they appreciated the solemness of the occasion, and were beyond courteous. The afternoon tea provided was fulsome, with copious amounts of sandwiches - quality fillings well presented. We all to a man left feeling much more relaxed, even in spite of the initial purpose of us coming together: I think that the venue combined with the way we were all looked after by the staff had a lot to do with this.

I have had the pleasure of shooting several weddings at Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club. The Clubhouse hosts their ceremony room on the first floor, overlooking the rolling fairways and lake, and is a beautiful room offering plenty of natural light for photographs. There is plenty of outside space for group photos, candid documentary photography and couple portraits. The staff are helpful and professional.

I would highly recommend using their venue for functions as the venue is a beautiful and an amazing place. The staff were absolutely wonderful and very professional and helpful in every way. Shana the events manager was a complete star she went above and beyond to help us all the way throughout to organise our Grandmother's wake. I would highly recommend this venue and myself and my family would like to thank Shana and her team for everything they have done for us and we would definitely use the venue again for future functions.
