Recently become a member after some really pleasant rounds there.

Lovely course & the 18 they have done a good mix with what they have.

Clubhouse very friendly.

Sadly broke my leg weeks after joining, that being said they were incredibly supportive and responsive as well as flexible.

It’s appreciated and look forward to being healed and back using the club.

This is a scenic and hilly 9 hole golf course that's well worth a visit. There are some stand out holes (the 3rd and 4th spring to mind), some gorgeous views, and everyone I met there was really friendly.

There are a couple of climbs that will need to be navigated, but if you're okay with that then I think you'll really enjoy Alton. The greens were in great condition, and the tees and fairways were decent too.

Very welcoming and friendly club - we booked a 2 ball at 1330 hrs slot on late January Saturday PM following a club roll up and managed to play 15 holes but were only asked to play for 9. For those keen to get some exercise this course offers a great work out although good situational awareness required when crossing fairways - some assistance is required for course navigation on back 9 although club members very willing to oblige! Will definitely return in the summer to enjoy this course in optimum condition. Great VFM.
