Stunning country course with breathtaking scenery all around. One of the finest views of MancHattan you're gonna find. The course is also in grand condition too. Highly recommended a visit

We held our wedding breakfast and evening party here on the 19th August. After we were initially a little stressed due to management changes close to the date - Ben contacted and met up with me. He put my mind at ease immediately and ensured everything would be what we asked for... When we arrived at the venue we were greeted with drinks. We had our own decorators in BUT the room as stunning. The wedding breakfast was OUT OF THIS WORLD (we had tomato soup starter, beef dinner and chocolate cake pudding). The Staff all day and night were simply fantastic. They were all polite and nothing was ever too much trouble. I would highly recommend the golf club for any party as you are well looked after.

I had no idea this gem was only 10 mins away! Went to exercise the dog, parked outside the golf club and walked towards the war memorial. Such a lovely view! Great place to take kids and dogs for a good run around and it's big enough that everyone can stay socially distanced. I'll be back especially in the summer! Only complaint is there was only 1 bin so it seems many people didn't pick up after their dogs.

Nice course, have played here a few times now. It's an 11 hole course but you play the same ones off different tees to make it up to 18 holes. Some challenging holes but beginner friendly, nothing over 500 yards. Course condition is generally good, no mats required in winter which is fantastic. The views are amazing, I doubt you'd get better views anywhere else locally. Green conditions can be hit and miss in the winter but most are fine, fairly slow. Membership is also substantially lower than anywhere else at about £500 per annum. Watch out for Dog walkers, plenty of public walkways on the course so easy not to see someone.

We held a celebration of life at Werneth Golf Club, on 22nd March 2025. It was perfect, in every way. A fantastic room, with spectacular views and access to a wonderful terrace. The staff were extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The catering was amazing too. You deserve a massive big thank you, for making our day so very special.
