This was my first ever golf course that I played at and I just fell in love with it. Have played numerous times since amd I still enjoy it just as much. The course was in great condition, due to health I prefer a flatter golf course so it ticks all the boxes for me.

Very knowledgeable staff who was very friendly and have bubbly personality’s, Todays visit was to go on the indoor golf simulator and it’s phenomenal to say the least and at a great price of £20 per hour , this was my first time ever on a sim and it won’t be my last , the images below show so much information too. I will also be back to try out the 9 hole course (will update more images) in the summer. They also have a very well stocked up shop too which does custom fittings and golf lessons. Thank you for your hospitality and I will see you again in the future 👊 ⛳️ 🏌️‍♂️ So today I played the 18 holes and enjoyed every bit of it and also made my first par on a course !! The tee shots look very narrow which they are but once the first shot is out of the way it’s very open

Great for weddings got a lovely area that can be seated for the ceremony and a marque for reception, Nice clubhouse to get a good view of the last part of the course and balcony view.prices are reasonably good also have murder mystery nights.

Enjoyed a fantastic day at this venue celebrating our Daughter and her fiancé wedding. Good choice’s for wedding packages that won’t break the bank. Very accommodating, wedding ceremonies can either be on the lawn, clubhouse or marquee. Staff very professional and swift to turn things around (tables replacing ceremony chairs in marquee). Really good service from all staff. Pre wedding day arrangements with venue went smoothly, and communication with them was easy, couldn’t do enough to help. In house DJ was great and would recommend. Excellent right until the end of the day.

Fantastic venue for a colleague's wedding. The weather was dry enabling the ceremony to be held on the lower garden. The setting was beautiful.Then we moved to the upper area for nibbles. They were delicious and catered for those with allergies. We transferred later in to the marquee which was equally beautifully set up. The whole day was amazing and the Alder Root staff worked tireless throughout the day and evening. Would highly recommend.
