Long standing 9 hole golf course. Fairways were cut and playable. Greens have been made larger. But still ropey. Paid £8.50 for 9 holes. Worth a that price. Pub on site. Drink and meals available.

A no frills 9 hole course, yet enough of a challenge to be enjoyable. First and last a par 3, rest a par 4. A maintained course with its own flock of geese to add to the fun! Nice lake at the bottom to add to the surroundings. A relaxed etiquette but all players must have their own clubs. Clubs and trolleys can be rented at very reasonable rates, a fiver a set from memory.

As a lot of people have already said, the greens are, how should I put it, needing a bit of TLC. But on the positive side, me and some colleagues just rolled up at 1400 and got straight on without even having to book! Nine holes for six pounds and nice food and a pint afterwards at the on adjacent pub/restaurants. Will definitely be going again.

Nice little 9 hole course! The greens are not brilliant but in general the course appears to be well maintained. It's pretty flat, no big hills like on my regular course. I'm sure I'll be playing this course again in the future.
