What an absolute gem of a golf course! But my word it’s hilly so get a buggy!! £40 for manicured greens and well presented fairways, different challenges and views over Hope Valley. Just brilliant, will be back (with a buggy again)

Loved our visit to Sickleholme. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The course was in great condition, greens quick and pure. Can't wait to come back!

What an absolute pleasure to play a course which I must have driven past many times and never really knew it was here! Excellent condition out on the course. Made very welcome in the Pro Shop and Clubhouse bar. There are some little touches which make the experience so memorable. The outside seating alongside the practice green is no doubt well used and made for a welcome post round refreshment seat! Stunning views on many holes, the challenge on each is different taking the experience up a further notch! Thank you for supporting the On Course Foundation with their fund raising!

Beautiful course and perfect weather, challenging test for all levels of golfers. The course is hilly and greens trcky but the views you get are stunning,, we visited as a society and everyone enjoyed it 👌👌

Played here for my birthday in October 2024 and had a great time. The course is great and very scenic. In addition, my dad was playing golf for the first time since an operation and the staff in pro shop and bar were very helpful. He's now keen to get out and play again thanks to a good to a good experience here.

Absolute class. My friend and I played on a glorious Sunday afternoon in October, and it was perfect. I knew about the reputation of this course as ‘the inspiration for Augusta’ and it does deliver. Dr Alastair McKenzie knew what he was doing. Amazing views from all corners of the course and despite the overall elevation, because the holes are carefully crafted into the tables of the terrain, it is a surprisingly good walk. The staff (shoutout to assistant pro, Liam) are super helpful and make you feel very welcome. Great hospitality in the clubhouse and you can enjoy watching players come in with a cold pint on the terrace. Cannot recommend highly enough and can’t wait to return next year. Proper golf course!

Not the longest course but definitely has some challenging holes and tricky greens to navigate. The course is set in beautiful countryside with panoramic views and has been maintained to a very high standard. The greens are superb and some of the best I've ever played on.

Our 8 man society played on 22/06. Really warm welcome by the lady in the golf shop, just the perfect introduction to the golf club. The course itself was challenging, but well kept and the greens ran fast and true. Bar staff equally professional for the post round inquest! We had a lovely day and would definitely return.

I've been a member here for a number of years now. I may be a little bit biased, but I think that it is a wonderful course. I would recommend this course to anyone visiting the High Peak ,and fancying a knock.

Held my Dad's wake at the golf club on Monday 3rd February, couldn't fault it had the hot sandwiches and chips, they were fantastic great quality meat on the sandwiches and plenty of it, cakes were delicious. Upstairs room was great. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, would definitely recommend.

Lovely course , for the amount of rain we've had was it was dry all round. Greens were small but tricky which is a nice challenge. Lads in the society rated it up there

A very picturesque course and only a little hilly. Reasonably priced golf and refreshments with great, friendly staff. Definitely recommend a visit.

We had a family birthday in meal, there were 19 of us. The room is okay if a little bare with not much atmosphere. The view out across the golf course was good. The menu was good with everybody finding things they liked, there were plenty of gluten free options for those that needed them. The quality of the food was good across all 3 courses and nit to expensive. 2 courses for £17 3 courses for £22. There is no bar in the dining room, so you had to go to the bar for them. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a pleasant place to eat as a large group.

Apart from being a very fine course, due credit must be paid to the Head Professional Tim Coxon. Probably the finest in the East Midlands. Outstanding service.

Foid night put, great entertainment from the crew. Food was very good, Christmas Dinner with the trimmings. Madrid beer was a bit poor. Although the bar staff learnt to make a negroni! Bloody marvellous.

We came here last week for an 18th birthday meal around 20 of us what beautiful food and drink it was. Would highly recommend

Excellent little gem of a course. I have played many courses in the Derbyshire area and this is easily the best maintained. The greens are like carpets and the fairways are in exceptional condition. Will definitely be back

Great course for beginners to intermediates at the sport good course lay out with a decent amount of obstacles and undulating ground to navigate staff really friendly and welcoming definitely will go again soon.

I played here a couple of days ago, and the course was excellent, a real hidden gem. The condition of the course was superb, and everyone involved with the course was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

We held our daughters’ birthdays/christening party here last weekend and they went over and beyond. The food was great and the service was fantastic. Kayleigh and her team did a great job and they were all very friendly and helpful. The softplay company we hired let us down at the very last minute but the staff were very attentive and they provided colouring stuff for kids to use instead. It was a very nice experience and the place made it very intimate for families and friends. They commented about the food being good and homemade. Will definitely hire again in the future.

Went here for my nieces birthday party. The food which was provided was amazing, plentiful and tasty plus the staff were helpful and polite. All in all a lovely day.

Have recently had a family wake here and cannot rate it highly enough. The staff are amazing and more than happy to accommodate special requests such as gluten free food, use of a large screen to display photos and a memory table. Everyone that attended the wake commented on the quality, amount and presentation of the food. We were given disposable trays to take away as there was so much food. We cannot thank the whole team enough. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Thank you so much, we appreciate the time and effort you made for us 💐

Great setup, super friendly bar staff and excellent pub food. The course is a gem with excellent greens. 100% worth a visit. Huge practice area.

Just love this course, it’s a challenge for every standard of golfer and so many variations of holes. It has broken me quite a few times but I keep going back as I enjoy it so much. It is very hilly and this also adds to the challenge. The staff are always welcoming along with the green keepers who always have time to say hello. I really recommend this course. If I lived closer to it I would definitely become a member.

I held my wedding here on the 31st of August 2024. Karen who did my venue was absolutely amazing from the day I booked the venue to the moment we left on the Sunday. She was very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The venue looked spectacular on the day and the food was 10/10 all my guests commented on the food. I would definitely use them again for future events thankyou so much Karen your a star xx

Don’t be put off by the fact that it’s a ‘Par 3 Course’. It’s probably the longest in the country. Miss the green and you’re scrambling. Definitely a good short game improver. Some really fun holes and a must play in my opinion. Love those holes around the 200 yard mark. Always enjoyable.

Friendly staff, course is ideal for beginners that are looking for a few challenging holes and it's relaxed. If you are used to nice greens then be aware the greens are very mixed, a couple are good, most rather dodgy. Trying to read the pace of them was a nightmare.
