Absolute blast these guys were. George and the band were just brilliant and as bands go, I would say the best band at a wedding I have seen (not biased at all even though it was our wedding) All the way leading up to the wedding George was great. Meticulously planned but so organic on the day and they were just amazing fun all night. If you are looking at going with this band, just do it. We had the Hebrew singer with the Hora set also and it was exactly what we wanted. We were worried about people engaging and getting involved with the dancing but it was so much fun we had to do an extra run of Hava nagila as before we knew it they'd played all 5 songs before we got on the chairs. They are brill, and if you are looking for a band that can cater the Jewish elements too, look no further. Thank you for making the day amazing. Hope to see you at another wedding in the future. Incredible band! Can't recommend George and The Live Notes highly enough - from our first call they were so responsive and able to cater to all our needs. We had the 7 piece showband but added in an extra vocalist. Played an excellent version of our first dance and supplemented a party set with an acoustic dinner set. Hands down the highlight of our wedding reception!

After previously seeing The Lives Notes at another venue, my wife and I asked them to perform for our wedding in April 2022 From the outset everything was handled professionally. Communication was excellent and they essentually held our hands through the process which certainly helped to alleviate stress our end. On the day we had the L2 duo along side reception drinks which went down a treat with our guests and the 5 piece band for the evening who in turn worked with the venue DJ between sets so everything joined up seamlessly. The atmosphere was fantastic and the band read the room well to adapt their playing to suit what was happening on the dance floor. I couldn't recommend the band anymore. There are certainly no regrets on our side and we're so glad we chose them to perform at our wedding.

The Live Notes played at our wedding at the end of August and were absolutely amazing. George was incredibly accommodating both in the months leading up to the day and also on the day itself, making sure he did everything possible to meet our needs. There were a couple of issues with the sound system at the venue on the day (nothing to do with the band) and they rolled with the punches excellently and got back up and running as soon as possible. The setlist was great, with lots of the usual wedding songs mixed in with some less-common-at-weddings (but very much appreciated) classics. We got tons of great feedback from our guests in the days after the wedding, which was great to hear. We would highly recommend to anyone planning a live event with a band! I hired a duet from The Live Notes for my 30th birthday party and they blew everyone's expectations out of the water! George was fantastic in his communication and organisation of the gig, keeping me updated and checking that information was correct in the lead up to the event. We settled on two 1 hour sets with a 30 minute break in the middle for guests to get some food. The Live Notes would supply all the equipment needed and all we needed to provide were a number of plugs for power. Ollie, on keyboard, and Kim, singing, were incredible! They played a variety of different songs, adjusting their set to suit the reaction from my guests - I could not have asked for a better set! The sounds quality was amazing, with George bringing an amazing set of speakers and lights! The skill and talent of these guys was amazing, they were all so polite and seemed to genuinely enjoy performing which is refreshing to see! I would highly recommend hiring The Live Notes to anyone who is a lover of live music and wants the best for their event whether it's a birthday party, wedding or other function, they will blow away all expectations!
