We had a major design and build garden project in Summer 2022. The team did a great job managing the whole process end to end. We especially appreciated the care and enthusiasm of the site team who were with us for two months and were always friendly and tidy. The end result is stunning and aftercare has also been excellent

We initially contacted The Garden Design Company following research and studying their past projects. We identified they would be the best team to design our garden in our new build home. Russell and Jeff were keen to get together and discuss our ideas and lifestyle. They came up with the perfect design. We love gardening but with busy schedules we have aimed for low maintenance without compromising our love of plants and having space for homegrown produce. We discussed with Abbey the best options for plants integrating our favourites which has complimented the whole design. Looking forward spending the spring and summer in the garden. Whilst the garden work is not yet being undertaken we have been Impressed with the whole process so far.

Bespoke service from start to finish. We recently had an architect work on some building plans but did not listen to our requirements which was massively frustrating. The Garden Design Company were the opposite and produced a plan that required no adjusting; it was fantastic. The builders and horticulturist who then completed the garden were so professional, helpful and polite which, I am sad to say, is a rarity now. I would highly recommend to anyone. Not cheap but value for money.

After having some areas of my garden landscaped a few years ago, I wanted to develop a plan and planting scheme for the final (and largest) area. I knew that I wanted someone who really knew plants because the vast majority of the work would be soft landscaping. Bel took the time to really understand what I was trying to achieve and she came up with a plan that not only realised that superbly, but also seamlessly drew the different areas of the garden together. Working with her was extremely easy, she was able to pull in contractors as needed (who also did an excellent job, were polite and tidy) and has been back to check on her work and is always available for advice when needed. I have no hesitation in recommending Bel.

We asked Bel for a contemporary garden design for our new garden. We were used to large open spaces and herbaceous borders and wanted something totally different for this new space. Right from the first contact Bel was friendly, informative, practical and got straight ‘on board’ with our desire to do something modern and contemporary. Bel listened to our ideas and came up with a fabulous plan and ‘stages’ which we could use, from a design, to a design and planting plan to a whole package which included the hard landscaping and planting too. We wanted to use our own landscaper/ builder and this has worked well for us. Bel has been there whenever we needed help and/ or advice and did the design/planting plan and the planting itself and has worked with us to get the project finished to a high standard with a real WOW factor. We highly recommend Bel and absolutely LOVE our new garden.

I have thoroughly loved every minute spent in my new garden, completed July 2019. Bell's design reflected exactly what I asked for, which was for a soft seaside feel for a relaxed environment, whilst making the most of the quirky shape, and different levels in my garden, and I think that she she nailed it! Bell walked me through each stage and was flexible to my thoughts whilst still making good suggestions which added detail and a contemporary twist. You can see how my 1970's garage was transformed with the wooden slats, echoed throughout the garden and the lovely sweeping shape the stones make in comparison to the traditional lawn. Bell recommended some great landscapers too, who did a fantastic job (Soar Valley Services), Graham's team worked through to completion while I was away at work and were super tidy and considerate to my neighbours. I'm looking forward to see the garden fill out over this coming year and see how the plants come together. See before and after pics below, quite a transformation! Overall very pleased 😀

We asked Bel to help us to bring all areas of our garden together following an extension to our house. We were reasonably happy with the original layout but felt that there was no ‘flow’ between the courtyard and planting areas to the rear. We also felt that the courtyard was very bland, needing a clever planting scheme. Bel came up with a design sympathetic to the rural surroundings and achieved our brief of pulling everything together through a clever use of materials and planting. We are not keen gardeners and Bel designed low-maintenance planting, including an irrigation system, raised oak beds and improved original features by adding wooden strip cladding. Bel planted our garden out in the heat of the summer 2022 and returned after planting to check that the irrigation system was working effectively. She has since been back to check on progress and give further invaluable advice on maintenance throughout the seasons. (On top of the detailed briefing notes she supplied) Bel is always extremely professional, quick to respond and genuinely cares that we are happy with the end result. She also recommended Hortus landscaping who carried out Bels designs perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend Bel.

Matt and Chris are good they definitely know the difference from a plant and a weed. They cut trees and bushes back, recommend suitable planting. They have jet washed my patio and they cut my lawn every two to three weeks they are very polite and would not hesitate to recommend them. Good value for money no job too much trouble.

We needed our hedge cutting as it was becoming unruly. Matt and his team did a fantastic job and left the area neat and tidy. I was so impressed that I recommended them to my mother who needed to have a patio laid. They took time to ensure that all work was of the highest standard. We were out of the country for 10 weeks and the person we had engaged to cut the grass let us down. We contacted Brent at Advance Maintenance who was able to cut the grass which was now 5 weeks growth. He did follow up cuts and on our return the lawn looked great. If it hadn't been cut for ten weeks it would have been a real mess. Many thanks to Brent.

I've got my garden back, thanks to the dedication and hard work of Brent and Edina, the team that is Advanced Maintenance Leicester. I've been unable to do any work on the garden since last Autumn, and it was totally overgrown: the borders were covered with weeds, including horrible brambles, bindweed and cleavers, the 'wildlife area' was essentially just a mass of coarse grass, hawthorn seedlings and ants nests, and the pond was so overgrown I could hardly see it. I couldn't imagine two people could get it looking anything like presentable in just one day, but they did! They both worked steadily on the garden all day, apart from a well-earned lunchbreak. They used top class equipment to cope with the heavy cutting and they made it all look easy. What a team, I would definitely recommend Advance Maintenance Leicester to anyone who just wants the job done, and to an excellent standard.

I have known Pete for 23 years he has carried out many a projects on both my previous house and my new property. Works carried out are driveway, turfing, landscaping, fencing, decking, patio, tree surgery and more. Reliable, quality, on time and reasonably priced, i wouldn't use anyone else and you know what Pete is a nice bloke.

Recently used Outback Landscapes after receiving quotes from 5 Leicestershire firms. The quote was competitive and timeframes to start reasonable. The majority of the work was completed within 5 working days to a very good standard. During the works they left the garden clean, tidy and safe each day. Very pleased with the end result of a modern, easy to maintain garden. 👍🏼

Pete and his team transformed our old lawns with complete re-leveling, New gate, New turf, New border areas and installation of porcelain steps. Always punctual and leaving the site clean. Easy communication and customer focused team. Highly recommend.

The guys did an amazing job! New patio and turf in the garden. We do get quite a lot of flooding on the lawn so the team did some extra drainage for it. Had small section left for flower bed area. Side garden had all weeds and shrubs removed and then it was paved and had some decorative stone. All the guys are friendly. Even made time to say hello to our dog whenever he wanted to go and see them. Everywhere was left tidy and jet washed. Would highly recommend.

Chris is a very consciencious skillful landscaper who completed a multi level front patio with steps - very challenging. He completed this on the 30th May 2024 and we are extemely pleased with the results as too are our neighbours. Thanks Chris - I will reccommend you to anyone that asks!
